8 BEEPS SOUND AND BLACK SCREEN
Hi,
My Dell Inspiron N5010 Laptop facing a problem regarding start . I facing an issue since last 1 week I got 8 beep sound continuously with a black screen same Problem i face one Year before.
That time Laptop Screen Replace in mount of July 2014 by authorizes service center is it under warranty or not give proper detail. I Also follow display test by pressing D Key and the starting my laptop but there is no response from my laptop.
Please help me and tell exact solution regarding this problem.

Dell inspiron 15R 5521 Auto restarting ,, Display driver problem

i bought my laptop Dell inspiron 15R 5521 (intel core i7 3517U -AMD radeon driver HD 8730M-8gb Ram-1TB hard drive)1 year ago and it was running well when i open more than 8 online games ! OS:Win 8.1
1-the problem now that when i open about 4 games ...Warning appears "Display driver has stopped working and has successfully recovered" then explorer of each game give me not responding , then my mouse stop , and after second my laptop restart automatically !!!!!!! ... this always happen automatically or in case that i press ALT+TAB to view any running application"for example apps+games" . Hope you help me in that problem ..taking into consideration that when i uninstall AMD driver and re install it again ..windows give me black screen while loading (welcome screen) and remain black ,the only solution is to re install windows , and this is impossible to do coz i have alot of imp. programs installed . also when i was working on windows 7 this message was appearing but without restarting laptop.
2-Sometimes while working normally on laptop my mouse go very slow ,,like slow motion and remain 2 minutes slow motion, sometimes it doesn't recover ,so i must restart !!! .don't know why !! Thanks in advance , and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

N5010 BIOS Password Set After BIOS Update
Hello, Inspiron N5010 after upgrading bios from A10 to A15 in the bios settings are locked, i can boot the system but nothing can be changed in bios,pop up show ”setup is locked ! enter the admin password into security – unlock setup to enable changes.” Running win xp (i have to run this os) i know is not recommended for this model. I try to downgrade bios version but dell don;t let me….What should i do…thak’s

DELL Inspiron 1501 BOOTMGR message
I've recently carried out a factory reset on my laptop and I can't do anything at all with it now as it just displays BOOTMGR message along the top line of the screen and doesn't respond to anything after that at initial start up when I switch it on.
Before the factory reset it was running windows Vista which was installed by DELL when I first bought it online some years ago .... if that helps

Dell Inspiron 14R N4010 Early 2010 RAM and HDD
Hello,
I'm planning to upgrade my RAM and HDD since my laptop(Dell Inspiron 14R N4010 Early 2010) is too slow to boot up and also runs very slow.I guess it needs to be upgraded. Currently have a 4GB RAM and a 500 GB HDD.
Any suggestions on upgrading it to the 8GB RAM and an SSD. DELL no more supports to sell the parts like the memory and hard drives for this device. If i had to go for a third party parts like Kingston, Seagate or Samsung can you please kindly help me what are the exact specifications of the RAM and the SSD that i have to pick up from them.

Inspiron 17r 7720 SE Fan Fix/Replacement
Which is the more suitable fan replacement for my laptop? DFS601305FQ0T FB6N or MF75120V1-C100-G99
The laptop is not in warranty.
I recently cleaned my CPU fan with compressed air after my laptop kept overheating during any sort of usage. Midway through I attempted to take my fan out to do a more thorough job, however for some inexplicable reason it seemed to be stuck, and despite me removing all screws/wires I couldn't remove it. I gave up taking it out and worked around that. When I finished, it seemed to be working a lot better as my laptop no longer overheated. I believe I damaged the fan when doing so though, as since then it makes a loud whirring noise and my laptop vibrates when it's spinning. I would normally open the laptop up and try to reseat it to see if it helps but I've got a stripped screw and can't get access to it. As such I'll be taking it to a computer/laptop repair shop and hope they can open it up. That's a journey for me though, and I want to make sure I've got the right part to replace the fan there and then if it can't just be reseated. If anyone has some other advice that'd be welcome.

New Inspiron 7548 - fresh windows install missing SM Bus Controller driver
I just got this new inspiron 7548. I wiped it and installed a fresh copy of windows 8.1. I downloaded all the drivers from the support drivers and downloads page and installed them. Everything seems to be working fine, but in the device manager there are three items in the Other Devices section without drivers. One is SM Bus Controller (hardware id: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CA2&SUBSYS_066E1028&REV_03). For the life of me I can't find the driver for this. I'm hoping that someone here can help. I also hope that once the driver for this is installed the other two will be corrected as well. Right now they are showing as Unknown Devices (hardware ID for 1 is: ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_3400, for 2 is: ACPI\INT3402\TMEM). Any help is appreciated.

Alienware 17 R2 (early 2015) - clicking noise from D drive
I have just received a new Alienware 17 R2 (early 2015) which as two drives; C is a SSD and D is a normal HDD.
Whenever the D drive is in use a clicking/ticking sound can be heard coming from the left hand side of keyboard. If only the C drive is in use no ticking/clicking can be heard.
It is only ever one click at a time and seems to happen at random intervals but is still annoying and distracting.
Performance seems fine and no errors appear on any diagnostic.
Any ideas on how to stop this?

I do not know where to post this but I have purchased the Dell Precision M4600 Laptop. I have been looking for the User Manual (NOT the Service Manual) with no luck. Does anyone know where I can download this manual in PDF format? All the owners manuals I have found are actually Service manuals..

Dell refuses to fix its product or make good on the warranty service it provides.
I have an Inspiron 3537 that has been losing screws randomly and regularly since I first bought it more than a year ago. Pretty much every screw on the underside has come loose. often falling out entirely. When I've found one, I put it back and invariably find several more that are loose.
Last fall, I finally called Dell to get some replacement screws and they sent a tech out to pretty much disassemble the computer and reassemble it with new screws. That accomplished nothing. The problem has continued exactly as it was before. I had him leave me a bag of screws, so I've continued to tighten and replace them myself...until today when I discovered missing screws that I don't have the right size to replace.
After spending nearly an hour being misdirected and cut-off (a typical experience for me with Dell) I finally reached the department for expired warranties. (Mine ran out in November.) They insist that I must now pay for fixing the problem...that their records show that it was repaired and it's my fault that there's still a problem because I didn't call them sooner. I know I'm not the only one with this issue because this isn't the only post about it, yet they tell me they haven't heard of this with any other computers. (Do you really expect me to believe that this kind of chronic defect only happened to my computer?) The guy explained that they don't know how I've been using the computer. (Uh...at home on my lap.)
To say that I'm infuriated would be an understatement. What kind of company creates a flawed product, fails to repair it and then tells me it's my fault?!

Recovery Disks for Dell Inspiron 15 - 3537 with Windows 8
I made the recovery disks but it only works for disk 1 and stopped at 54% of preparing hard drive.
Also, my hard drive is reformat so everything is gone even the recovery sector.
Can I buy the set of recovery disks for Windows 8 so that I can restore my PC to the factory setting?

Inspiron 11 3147 Touchpad drivers
Hey!
Recently my Inspiron 11 3147 came back from the service and it has it's HDD replaced. Now I cannot find a working touchpad driver, so here's my question - could anyone help me find Inspiron 11 3147 touchpad driver that actually works? I just need the touchpad lock to work, so I don't acidentally move cursor when typing. I have tried to install the one that can be found in the Dell Support Center, but it apparently does not work, so is mentioned in here:

No operating system found (Dell Inspiron 17R SE, BIOS A16)
Hi,
I bought a new samsung evo 850 500Gb ssd and installed it as the second hard drive.
I cloned my system residing on my fist hard drive (crucial M4 ct256M ssd ) to the second using Samsung Magician.
Then I booted manually into my new cloned system on the second disk and erased the first disk.
Now I get "Operating system not found" on reboot. When I click enter the new cloned system boots correctly.
I tried legacy, uefi but I cannot change the boot sequence with (+/-). I also cannot boot from my original windows cd.
Can you tell me what's wrong here?

Precisoun M6700 Not Using Graphics Card for Laptop Display
Hi,
I have a Precisoun M6700 with a Quadro K4000M. I noticed a while ago that when hooked up to an external monitor I got MUCH better graphics performance than when running on the laptop display. I recently discovered this is because the laptop is using the Intel Integrated Graphics for the laptop display and only uses the Graphics card on external monitors. This ***. Is there any way I can get the laptop to use the NVidia Quadro when NOT hooked up to an external monitor?
