I purchased a new laptop not to long ago, DELL 15r 5537, i7-45000u, 1.8gh-3.0 turbo AMD radeon 8850m.
Now a problem had consisted when playing games of a dramatic fps drop while playing on full screen. Some games ran fine, games that had a fps drop had options to window the game as a tab that dropped that had increased the fps.
So after looking over online for solutions I had installed the updated AMD Driver for the laptop, the driver had a huge problem with the laptop although it allowed games to run perfectly It had a few problems. When closing the screen and re-opening it, it had not allowed the screen to wake up yet the laptop was still running. I had gotten to a point were It had not even let the login screen load, I then had to reboot the laptop.
Now I un-istalled amd catalyst manager and the games still don't work, games like skyrim on steam does not allow me select the option of running my graphic through AMD and only intel graphics.
Other forums posts are very vague on how to fix this selected issue, the posts had been much older stated around 2013 and so on.
