Hi, I am looking to upgrade my xps 13 9360 250 drive to a 1tb. What drives should I consider for best performance and fit? Are there any larger than a 1TB?

ePSA Build 4304.12 UEFI ROM - What is this error message?
I turned on my Inspiron 13-5378 laptop this morning and got a Dell "SupportAssist" screen indicating an error message (ePSA) of "Build 4304.12 UEFI ROM". Below that was a message "Hard Drive Not Intalled!". The mouse was still functional, so I selected the "Continue" button on the bottom right of the screen and the laptop shut off. I rebooted a few times, but got the same result each time. I could not find this error message anywhere in the Dell support materials. Can someone help me?
Thanks,
Mark W.
Inspiron 3567 issues
Hello!
I have purcharsed an Inspiron 3567 from a local retailer about four to five months ago and I have encountered a very strange issue: it goes to sleep mode after periods of extensive use. At first, I thought that this was an overheating problem, but that does not seem to be the case: a lucky keystroke can interrupt the process and there have been examples of it operating under similar stress for long amounts of time. A particular example comes to mid: I have launched Starcraft II and the laptop went into sleep mode. However, after restarting it, I could play the game for about thirty minutes without any significant problems.
The only consistency with this issue seems to be the fact that the laptop always exhibits it when it is under heavy load. The thing is, the heat passages do not seem to be blocked as I can still feel the flow of air when I put my hand there. Using a cooling pad also alleviates the issue somewhat, which is why I thought that it might be an overheating problem at first, but now I am honestly not sure.
Any help or advice regarding this issue would be much appreciated.
Having trouble with updating and recovery on a Latitude
I was having some software/BSOD issues on the previous factory install of Windows 7, so I tried a recovery but it was having trouble updating Windows and Dell software, so I tried to factory reset again but couldn't through the boot menu (no matter what I tried) as for some reason it just didn't recognize any recovery software even though the partition was there.
So I went through Dell's installed recovery software through Windows to just re-download the factory image(s) to a USB hard drive, which got me reinstalled, but now it's having its own update and usage issues (Intel graphics driver update keeps failing from Windows Update, and Intel rapid storage update keeps failing from Dell Command Update, and now I'm having a few little interface issues with various programs), so now I'm wondering if malware got into the recovery software somehow...
I've got Microsoft Security Essentials (MSSE) installed (which I do as soon as possible), and I've tried scanning with other anti-malware programs, but they're just not finding anything, and I'm wondering if I have some low-level malware that keeps reinfecting the reinstalls...
Can I: (A) Completely reset/reinstall the original factory recovery software from Dell into the hard drive partitions completely and properly? or (B) Completely scan all possible software on the computer (maybe even boot record and firmware etc) to see if malware keeps reinfecting any software reinstallations?
I'm really having trouble figuring this out, and I can't tell if the problem is Dell, Microsoft, hardware, or malware. Thanks.
Charging Issues With Dell Inspiron M731R
About a week ago I experienced issues with my Dell Inspiron M731R laptop. There were several occasions where it refused to charge while powered on and would only charge when it was completely shut off. This continued for around two days, then it gave me no trouble. Last night I had the issue again, so I shut off my laptop so it would charge. I had it plugged in for at least six hours, but when I powered it on this morning it said my laptop was at 6% and shut off quickly after everything booted up. I have tried several different chargers and the same thing keeps happening, and the chargers all work for my friends who have the same kind of laptop as me. The laptop will not even turn on now. It's completely shut off, yet the light that says that it's charging is on and flickers from time to time. I've had this laptop for about four years and I got a new battery for it around two months ago. The first two days when this began happening I checked everything on my laptop and it all said that my battery was working normally. I'm unsure of what the problem is, help?
Problem With Dell inspiron 15 series 50000
Hello my laptop is bought in 2015. Blue ribbon stays below and the dell logo What to do?
TB16 Ethernet speed limited at 100 Mbps
I've been having issues with my Ethernet speed on my 9360 while connected to TB16. I can't get anything above 100 Mbps even though my Ethernet speed is 250 Mbps. My other laptop with built-in network card has no problems with reaching the full 250 Mbps.
I've checked TB16 specs and it tells there's a gigabit Ethernet controller onboard, so it shouldn't be an issue.
I have latest drivers from Dell's website and also tried the latest Realtek drivers - no speed change.
I've played with the driver settings and disabled all speed optimizations and enforced 1 Gbps full duplex as a default setting, but still no effect.
I've seen a couple of other forum members reporting the same issue, but all of them were running Linux, while I'm running Windows 10 64-bit. Apparently, the fault is with the dock.
Can anyone confirm the limitation and can suggest any workaround?
Serious problem with dell inspiron 7000
Hi,
Service Tag : <Service Tag removed>
Ownership Transfer is complete.
Problem : Some keys not working on my laptop. [ ESC, F4, F5, F6 ] these 4 keys do not work.
The customer care in India tells me that they cannot repair my laptop because the keyboard is not available in India.
International Support cannot do anything as the service tag is already transferred to India.
Before buying this laptop I had a chat with the dell USA, Who confirmed that if I transfer the ownership to India the warranty will be covered from India.
I have attached the dell chat
I want a solution to my problem or I want to return my laptop.
I thought dell would be the best laptop but this is a complete mess
Thanks

E5570 Backlit keyboard not working
Hi,
I have a Latitude E5570. It did not come with a backlit keyboard. I purchased a dell laptop keyboard with backlit function. Installed it fine (noticed the extra ribbon cable that I assume is for the power for the backlight.
The F10 key includes the FN icon to enable backlight. But it is not working. Checking the bios, there is no setting as per the manual to enable the backlight. There are the two settings for how long before it times out either on AC or battery though.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a dell software I can install on windows 7 to enable this?
Thanks!
Dell XPS 12 9250 Wireless Not Working
I have had a Dell XPS 12 9250 that I bought in new packaging 13 months ago. About 6 weeks ago the WIFI stopped working. There is the red x that shows no connections are available. If I do a network reset the WIFI has become available when I go to a place that has a new connection. If the WIFI did not work at school, it will work when I turn on at home after the network reset, or will work at school if it did not work at home. The computer always detects the Bluetooth but not WIFI. I ran updates through Dell and Intel two weeks ago. When the tech staff at my school inserts a USB 3.0 to Ethernet PXE Boot, the device is recognizable but still not the WIFI. Previous posts on the WIFI not being recognizable on the XPS 12 were answered in the context of Windows 8 or older. Is there a solution for Windows 10? There are no connections that are currently recognizable on my device.
Replacement Power Adapter Port
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement power adapter port (i.e. receptacle) for my Inspiron 5547? I've searched online at several parts dealers but couldn't find one listed. Thanks!
Help with laptop - no admin password
A friend of ours gave our daughter a laptop a few years ago when she was too young to really use it. He wiped it and set up two user accounts - one for daughter and a custom admin. Daughter cannot download anything without admin permission. Well, he forgot the password to the admin account. So I have a non-admin user with basically no permissions and an admin user that is password protected but don't know the password. I have no Windows recovery or password recovery disks. Unless I am blind, the laptop doesn't even have a CD disk tray. Is there anything I can do to reset the admin password or wipe and restore?

Why does a Quad core not perform better then a duo core?
My Dell E6400 laptop is still working perfectly now with a Crucial 512 GIG SSD and a harddisk cradle with a hybrid 512 GIG harddisk. With 4 gig of ddr2 memory this dual core machine is as fast as a quad core HP 6550 with ddr3 and the same disk setup crucial + hybrid.
A Windows 10 update started at the same time and when the HP is on 95% the Dell is on 90%. I would expect a quad core and ddr3 to outperform the E6400, but is does not.
Is Windows update just using 2 cores on both machines or what else could cause this small difference?
Bad laptop specs
Although I am still very happy with my Dell e6400, now with a 512 GB ssd and dvd replaced with a cradle and 512 GB hybrid harddisk. I still sometimes look at specs of current laptop setups and I wonder why the ***, things have to be so small so nothing fits anymore.
All Dells that I still have from Lattitude C600 C650 D600, D610 and E6400 they all had the possibility for two batteries or replace the CDrom with an extra harddisk.
Now a days with M2 SSD's one would expect an extra harddisk in every laptop. But this is never the case.
My perfect laptop needs to have an M2 SSD + an extra hybrid harddisk. Why does Dell not deliver this for me, why do you fail me after so many years or am I not looking at the right places?
Dell Factory recovery not possible?
I have a Dell 7559 and need to reset it back to factory settings/ configuration.
If I try to use the recovery partition I get a 'Something Went Wrong' error, no error code and need to reboot.
If I try the recovery USB I made, it goes so far then fails with a non-paging fault and I need to reboot.
I have tried the Dell OS Recovery Tool but apparently there is no OS image for my tag.
Do I need to buy windows 10 again to and have to re-install?
Ram upgrade guide and dual channel

Dell Inspiron 17 Series 5000 - Bluetooth Issue
My bluetooth conectivity suddenly stopped working.
I have checked that the latest Intel drivers are installed & working properly, which they are.
I am trying to connect my Bluetooth Mouse 3600, which worked fine before. I have also tried to connect my Android phone.
My phone can 'see' my laptop but does not pair. Error message on Android is: ''Couldn't pair with laptop because of an incorrect PIN or passkey.'' yet no PIN was requested by the laptop.
From the laptop bluetooth software, 'Add a device', the laptop 'sees' the Android. Error message is: ''Couldn;t connect. Try connecting again.''
Any solution much appreciated.
xps 2 in 1 weak wifi
I'm very non-tech savvy so I'm not sure what affects what - but I tried out two open box xps 9365 ( they were both 8gb and 128 (I think) but one had a higher screen resolution. With both computers, the wifi would cut out or go slow at times - especially on 5g. Even when other computers were online and doing fine - the 9365 was always the one to get knocked off (It would say "identifying" for long periods of time.) Often I would have to troubleshoot the network connection and it would repair it and then be fine for awhile...until it happened again. They both also seemed to take a really long time to boot up.
I really love so many things about this 2 in 1 and I'm not doing much with it - writing (screenplay software and word), a very small amount of image editing with gimp,, and web-browsing. So my question is-- would getting a 16gb version of the laptop (or a 512) make it speedier (online) or does that not have anything to do with it?
