Just bought a dell xps 15 9550 and am unable to find touchpad settings, as it seems the Microsoft driver is very limited and unable to change scrolling settings no matter what I do. is there a dell driver somewhere?

Weird Lines and color changes suddenly appear on screen. What's happening?
Over the past month my laptop's Dell Vostro 2420 has been behaving weirdly at times. Sudden pink and grey lines suddenly appear and cover the entire area of the screen, generally when I am not plugged in. Sometimes the lines automatically disappear after a while, then sometimes it persists and then disappears when I restart. This problem started after I upgraded to Windows 10 and appeared when it had a minor fall. The laptop works fine 99% of the time and usually those line appear only after several days. I did upgrade the RAM and made it 6GB but it caused no problem while in windows 8.1. I have upgraded all the drivers as well. Does anyone have any idea as to what has happened with the device?

7537 Laptop died after boot and wont power on
Hi,
I have a 7537 laptop, that just died after powering on. I was on airplane, on a fully charged battery, It booted, I went to connect to Airplane Wifi and poof, just blacked out.
So before someone, asks, yes the battery was fully charged, no there are not any lights on. I pulled the battery and then just tried the ac adapted after I arrived to my hotel.
After googling this issue, I am seeing this is a common issue and Dell does not have an answer for it.
other than replacing the motherboard.
any suggestions would help especially since this is financed threw Dell still.

Mouse/Touchpad not working.
Have a Dell e6420, running Windows 7 pro.
Problem:
Mouse in Devices only has PS/2 Compatible mouse, installed automatically.
Touchpad is working, although there are no settings for it in the Mouse options. Impossible to increase sensitivity, and it's really slow. Attempted to download drivers from Dell website, tried touchpad drivers version 6, 7, and 11, none worked.
New mouse was installed, driver installed, Steelseries rival gaming mouse was recognized on the Steelseries application, but no response on screen, and error in the device manager. Indicates missing driver for Rival Gaming mouse. Auto-update doesn't produce anything but continues running, requiring shutdown through task manager.
I'm not sure where to look anymore, any advice would be appreciated.

My pointer moves to the top left icon on screen after a while
I have a Dell Inspiron 15R with windows 7 32-bit installed on it . Whenever I open my desktop and select any random icon, after some time (around 10 sec) the pointer will move on the top left icon on screen and it will freeze there . I try moving it with arrow keys and it won't move . My touch-pad works just fine and I am not pressing any key accidentally. I also tried using a usb mouse but it was still happening .Whenever I am typing the pointer would move to the beginning of the line and I would have to type all over again . If I am using Powerpoint or Microsoft word after a while it the first page of the word or powerpoint file will open . Even in Pdf files if I am reading it will just shift to the first page of the file .

Massive screen flickering issue on my XPS 15 9550
I just received my XPS 15 4K/i7/512 GB laptop at my first start up i noticed below mentioned issues
1. White flickering dots while booting (DELL logo).
2. Too much screen flickering (display goes black and returns). 2-3 times in under 5 secs.
3. Updated BIOS and other drivers. (System drivers are all up-to-date).
4. Everytime screen flickers mouse returns to the centre of the screen and brightness varies around 14% even though i set it to 100%.
Need a fix as soon as possible. Laptop is completely unusable.

Complaints
How does one complain about the DEPLORABLE service from Dell? I've been every all over Indian and never left the USA......6 emails....all unanswered, 5 hours of hold and transfer time on the phone. They all point to the "other " handles this. Nothing works.....I didn't think it was possible, but I think Dell is worse than Comcast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

USB3.0 Issues on Windows 10 (Inspiron 15)
After I upgraded to Windows 10 (from Windows 8.1) on the Inspiron 15 with touch screen, I ran into an issue with the Startech's USB31000S USB/Ethernet device. It just stopped working. I played around with trying to reload the driver.
I contacted the Startech support and while chatting with them, I had the idea to disable and re-load the usb3.0 package.
When the guy suggested it was a a hardware issue, I said goodbye and then went to device manager, removed the device, re-booted the computer, reloaded the device and re-enabled it. And it worked. Since then, it's happened again, when I plug the device in before the computer's booted up.
There may be a bug in the driver.
But this is a possible fix.

Latitude E6400 keyboard backlight not working on windows 8.1
Can somebody please help? Keyboard back-light not working since the installation of windows 8.1. It was working totally fine on windows 7. Installed the Dell control point application but it didn't helped.
It flickers on its own sometime but that's all.

Dell XPS 15 9550-1370 HDMI stream issue
Hi I tried to use my XPS 15 for hdmi to coax streaming via HDMI output with HDMI QAM Modulator. I have an issue - I can't get 1080p@60 , it works only under 1080p 30fps(GTX 960M should be powerfull enough for 60fps). What could be the problem? I use H.264 encoding and QAM DVB-C modulation. Alienware 13 - increasing the hard drive
Hello!
My son has an Alienware 13. It's about one year old. It has a 256Gb SSD card but we're running out of memory. My son plays a lot of open world games and that 256Gb doesn't last long. The computer can accommodate either one 2.5-inch hard drive or two solid-state drives.
As far as I can tell we have one SSD so makes sense to buy another M.2 drive and slot it in right?
Only I have no idea what to buy or how to install it. When I look on the Dell website at hardware related to our laptop, there are loads with a massive variety of sizes and prices (and different prices for the same size).
Please help.

Graphics
So the thing is...i own a dell inspiron 5555 with a fine requirement for games. The dxdiag shows that i've got 6gb of graphics...i have no clue why. But then when i start playing COD- Advanced Warfare...it shows that i only have 1gb r6 for gaming whereas i've set the graphic usage to apu+gpu in the amd catalyst control. Is this a manufacturer issue or can be solved easily?

Stop Keyboard Backlight Auto-dimming
I have an Inspiron 15 7559 running windows 10 with a backlit keyboard. The issue I'm having is that when I don't type for 1 minute, the backlight shuts off. This means if I am working in the dark, I often miss the first few keystrokes, until the backlight 'wakes up' and turns back on. I've gone through all settings I could find relating to the keyboard and powersaving optons. If there is some way for me to stop the keyboard from going dim, I would love to know. Trackpad scrolling too fast in Sourcetree on XPS13
Using two-finger scrolling on the trackpad of my laptop, the vertical scrolling is way too fast. In the diff-view and in the list of commits, the view scrolls by more than a page by moving my fingers only a millimetre (1/16 of an inch). Just rolling my fingertips moves the scrollbar by many pages.
When I use a mouse scrollwheel the scrolling speed is normal and even feels a little slow.
This software is from sourcetreeapp.com .
The people from sourcetree suggested it may be a driver issue, but all other software scrolls fine. Does anyone else have this issue where one java-based program scrolls very quickly but all other programs work fine?

Dell Latitude E5500 Not Powering Up
