My Dell Inspiron Laptop is not charging from yest onwards but when the laptop is plugged in the laptop is working fine. What could be the issue. Please let me know what needs to be done.

Blinking orange light
Hi I have problem. I bought dell inspiron 1525 laptop in 2008 and now when I start No lights. I can hear voice of CPU fan and only see Orange light blinking (Battery) I am running it on DC but not working. Also there is a blue / orange blinking light near hard drive. Do I need to change board or anything else?

Screen flicker on low brightness level with Dell Inspiron 15 7000 - 7559
I bought a new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 - 7559 core i7 with touch display about a 4 days ago. I've noticed the screen flickers on low brightness level. (below 30%).

What's the best CPU for my Vostro 1510?

I want to upgrade the CPU of my Vostro 1510, it now has an Intel Core 2 Duo T5670 (1.8GHz). I would like to know what's the best CPU for this laptop, can you tell me? ( I don't know the exact motherboard model)
Also, the laptop has 3GB of RAM, I would like to know if it will support 4GB of RAM with another CPU? and if it's possibe to upgrade to Windows 7 64 bits ( it has Windows 7 32 bits)

Dell Companion 12000mAh or 18000mAh compatibility with the Dell Laptop Latitude E6430 or is there another Dell Companion product for the E6430?
I own a Dell Latitude E6430. I am looking for a Dell Companion 12000mAh or 18000mAh type of device to power and charge my Dell Lattitude E6430 when I am traveling (no outlet available). When I view the compatibility list for both the Dell Companion 12000mAh and the 18000mAh I don't see the Dell Latitude E6430 in either list. I went and purchased the 12000mAh and I am attempting to use this to charge and power my Dell Latitude E6430. It powers my Dell Laptop for about a minute and then quits. Is there a solution for this problem? And/or is there another Dell Companion type device that I can purchase that is listed as 100% compatible with the Dell Latitude E6430? I would like to either get this solution working or purchase the product that is listed as 100% compatible.

How to make keyboard and mouse working in the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series 15.6 Inch Laptop

I purchase this Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series 15.6 Inch Laptop last December and it was great to allow me to interchange the use of touch screen and keyboard with mouse. Suddenly a couple weeks ago, the keyboard and mouse were not recognized by the system when I turned on the laptop. I got the touch screen working but I need to use keyboard and mouse most. Any advice on how to fix it?

Dell inspiron 3 beep sounds
Hi! I have been using dell inspiron for almost 2 years. Everything was working fine all through till now. Two days back I turned it on as usual but it didn't start. The power button lights up , I hear the fan , the dvd drive works , but the screen doesn't start and after some time I get 3 beep sounds consecutively with gaps in between. I left it aside and turned it on again after 24 hrs and it started normally and worked as usual. Then I turned it off and switched it on again after 1 hour but it didn't start and again I get the beep sounds. It remains so till now. What should I do ? ?

XPS Charger
Hey guys,
I bought my Dell XPS in June and started using it in July, and I haven't had any problems up until today. When I plug the charger into the outlet the part that goes into the computer doesn't light up, nor does it charge my computer. The wires aren't worn out or anything and I tried plugging and unplugging repeatedly, so what gives?

Dell 15 7000 series Win10 Laptop not recognizing the ethernet adapter
The internet connectivity works only wirelessly. The direct connectivity (connecting the laptor with Cisco Router using a chord) works for sometime and goes off, and WiFi takes over.
Sounds like Dell has solution to this problem. They tried all usual commonsense ideas and also changed the motherboard, but finally gave up or left it to fate. There is no problem with Cisco EA3500 dual band router as I have other gadgets connected. Tried with another another laptop (also Dell), changed chord, tried different slots in the router.
Dell 15 laptop is still covered under warranty.
Can't Dell fix this problem?
Anyone has experienced this problem and still living with it without Dell taking initiatives to resolve?

Dell Insprion 3521 Headset issues (Running Windows 10)
Hello, Dell Community. I've recently bought a headset with a mic. I also have a headset splitter because theres only one audio jack and there was two cables one for mic and one for audio. Now when I plug it in a pop up comes up asking me the following. Is the device you just plugged into the jack Headphones, Headset, Skullcandy headset, etc. I select headset now the purpose that I bought this headset was recording with the mic in the headset so now I go to record and my dell laptop doesn't pick up the mic and it doesn't play audio. So I go to recording devices and I right click and press show disabled devices and disconnected devices and my headset doesnt show up on the list! So I go through and uninstall and install the drives which also doesn't work I've tried only using the mic plugin. and It doesn't detect it I need help! If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it I'm using a Dell Insprion 3521 Laptop Running Windows 10 64 bit.

I bought the Adonit Jot Pro which is a passive pen, but it didn't work at all.

Latitude E7440 webcam installation
Hello,
I bought a latitude e7440 for a family member a while ago but didn't realize it did not come with a webcam, so my intention is to buy any necessary components to install one.
I know that I will need to buy the bezel w/ webcam hole (part# 02TN1) and the webcam (part # 7YYT), but I don't know if I need the LCD/webcam ribbon cable (part# D3M6R).
Do all latitudes 7440 come with the same video ribbon cable, regardless of whether or not the webcam is installed? In other words, if I take the bezel off of the laptop and disconnect the LCD screen, will I find that the ribbon for the webcame is right there, ready to be connected to a webcam?

M3800 only wakes up from suspend if USB device is inserted in USB port, otherwise reboots.
My laptop (M3800) always goes to sleep ok ("suspend to ram" S3 mode).
But it only wakes up correctly if the sleep+resume is performed while a USB port is used (key, mouse, etc plugged in). If not, it simply performs a normal start, hence losing the session.
BIOS version: A09. I had to enable "USB wake support" in order to allow the computer to turn on when being opened. Otherwise it would just stay off and require a hard restart (pressing the power button for 10 secs).
I've been digging about this for a while and could not find answers. Any help will be appreciated!
PS: don't ask me to update the video drivers. It's a hardware+BIOS problem here.

Vostro V13 starts when lid moved
I have a Vostro V13 which is showing odd behaviour. When I shut down Windows 7, it shuts down fine. I then go to close the lid and it starts to boot up again.
This happens as soon as I start to close the lid, and in fact is caused by moving the lid at all.
I've updated the Bios to A05 with no effect. Any ideas what might be causing this?

My n5110 doesn't turn on
I have dell n5110 laptop and it was working fine until it turn off suddenly yesterday and I tried to turn it on but it didn't. I try to remove charger and press and hold power button for more than 30 second but it didn't work too
And the charger lamp works fine until I press power button it is blinking and sometimes went off
I forget to tell you that when I try to press power button the lap top lamps work for part of second and turn off again.. Need help

Dell Inspiron 7559 Does Not Boot After Win10 Anniversary Update + Antivirus Re-Installation
I have the Dell Inspiron 7559 (non-touch) and was able to install the Windows 10 Anniversary Update today after a long session of sitting though Windows Updates. Everything seemed to work fine, except that I had to uninstall my antivirus (Symantec Endpoint Protection). No biggie, I'll just reinstall it after the update. I think it also said that the Intel WiDi drivers had to be uninstalled as well, which it did automatically, but that was all that happened during that process.
So I attempt to do so, and I was able to install it via the .msi file (the .exe file wouldn't work for some reason), and the computer begins to reboot. Constantly. The laptop would freeze somewhere from when the login screen appears to a couple minutes after that. It would hang for a couple minutes, then reboot. It rebooted enough times for it to go to the Windows 10 recovery options. I just told it to restart so that I could tell it to boot into safe mode on the next bootup (shift-click restart when I got inside Windows). It works, and I then tell it to boot into safe mode.
Now my laptop won't boot at all. It won't go past the Dell logo. I can enter the BIOS and the boot options menu, as well as load the ePSA diagnostics tool and have the tests pass (no errors). But it won't get past the Dell logo after this. It doesn't restart, flash lights or anything like that. Just hangs on the Dell logo.
How can I resolve this issue?
