Windows 10 has caused a repeated Internal Power Failure in Dell Inspiron 7000 series (7548)
Hi. I had a perfectly good Dell Inspiron 7 Series I purchased 6 months ago.
Windows 10 was just installed on my laptop and about 10-15 seconds after I log in there is an error - Internal Power Failure. It happens every time.
It's a bit ridiculous really. It doesn't look like a system restore point is saved by Windows 10 so can't seem to get Windows 8 back.
Some advice would be great.

Latitude E6420: screen does not turn on
When I turn on my Latitude E6420, the power button LED comes on, the hard drive cranks up, and the storage LED lights up, but the screen stays off. After about a second the storage LED turns off, and after about 30 seconds the power button LED goes off. I tried removing the static charge (disconnecting battery and AC adapter, holding power button for 30 seconds, connecting the AC adapter and waiting for 30 seconds before turning on the power), which had been recommended for a similar problem, but that didn't seem to do anything.
When I run a diagnostic test (by holding the Fn key and pressing the power button), the storage LED blinks, and the Power and Wireless LEDs are solid. The service manual says that this means that "the microcontroller is handling control of the system to the processor. This code persists if no processor is detected," and it says to replace the processor. Does this sound like the cause of the problem?

Studio 1747 not suitable for Windows 10
Windows 10 pre-installation web page advised me that Network card DW1520 Wireless N WLAN half-mini-cards is not compatible with Windows 10 and that I may not be able to connect to the internet if I upgrade to Win10.
The card works perfectly with Win7. Dell support has suggested that I buy an USB adapter.
Broadcom, the card manufacturer refuses to comment other than "go to Dell"
Has anyone a fix?

Mega Crash during installation of Windows 10
As I mentioned before, I invested more than 2300$ in order to get the best experience.
Look here what happend during the upgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro:

The installation resulted in a major crash, despite the fact that I know for sure that all my drivers were 100% correct and updated before initiating the installation.
I had to hard reset the laptop which is really bad on a SSD.
Dell - This is really bad customer service.

A way to assign shortcut in dell software?
My laptop is Inspiron 15R (5537, Mid 2013).
I used to use Win 8.1
I have an application I like (called this X). I assign a shortcut key to launch X by creating a shortcut of X on the desktop. Then right click it, and change shortcut key box to 'F3'. In Win 8.1, after pressing F3, pressing of this key is recognized quickly.
Now I upgraded to Win 10.
When I press F3, X is launched but it took a while before Win 10 recognizes that I press F3.
When I press Fn + F4 (this is dell specific shortcut key), my laptop quick recognizes this shortcut and decreases sound quickly.
Is there a way to use dell software to change shortcut key for Fn + F6 (I saw that this shortcut is not being used by dell). This may be faster to launch X.

Dell 5547 SM Bus Driver Missing (Windows 10)

today i did clean installation of windows 10 after upgrade and updated it through windows updates. All other drivers are updated but SM Bus Controller is missing. Also i got Dell Touchpad Driver update error. Screenshots are attached. Kindly provide a suitable solution.

Dell XP 13 (2015) 9434 Standby issues
Hi,
My IT support is telling me this is normal, but I don't believe them.
When I close the lid of my XPS13 the screen switches off, the keyboard lights go out and it seems to go to sleep, but the fans keep spinning and kick out a lot of heat. If I put the laptop in my bag for an extended period of time then the laptop will become too hot to touch.
Is this normal? I thought Sleep/Standby meant everything was off, it just kept enough power running to keep the RAM alive.
I have had this behaviour on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
