I have just purchased a XPS L421X, i deleted all of partitions on SSD and HDD, and created new partition.
I have changed the setting SATA Operation to AHCI in order to install Windows 8 Pro. I installed OS on HDD and intended to use SSD for Smart Response Technology.
After completing OS installation, i dowloaded some driver from DELL, installed the driver, and Intel Rapid Storage Technology at the end. I restarted the laptop, in Windows 8 booting processing, appear the message "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error ...", next is "Prepairing Automatic Repair", next is "Dianosing your PC", "Repairing disk errors. This migh take over an hour to complete.", and this loop is processed.
If I change BIOS setting from AHCI to Smart Response, Windows 7 (original) will be operation.
What is the problem? Please show to me the way to install Windos 8 Pro as well as enhance the Smart Response Technology.
