Bluetooth not working
Hello.
I have a dell inspiron 15 3537. I tried using the bluetooth for transferring files between my phone and laptop but the bluetooth doesn't seem to be working. I can detect it from my phone but unable to send any data. The laptop isn't able to detect any bluetooth devices.
Please reply ASAP.

HDMI Port does not work
Good day,
I recently purchased an Inspiron 3537 which has an intel HD graphics family card. The HDMI port used to work when I connected it to a projector but it has stopped working. My laptop is still under warranty and will be for only another 3 weeks.
Please could you assist me in fixing this problem? I am not sure if its a hardware or software problem?

XPS 15 (9530) touchpad problem
Hello,
I recently bought an XPS 15 (9530) in the Netherlands. Laptop is very nice but i have a big problem with the touchpad. Basically, if the surface where the laptop stands is not 100% solid and flat, the touchpad buttons get stuck when tapped which renders the touchpad almost impossible to use.
Dell replaced the touchpad and the battery but the problem has not gone away.
To my understanding it is either because the laptop is too thin and when the surface is not flat it bends making the buttons stuck, or the specific model has some other problem other than the touchpad.
Anyone has the same problem? Any ideas before i contact my local Dell customer service again?

We just received our first XPS 15 for a tryout. But directly noticed the same noise!
We hoped to replace our current laptops with this type of laptop, but seeing so many people with problems, and DELL completely ignoring the problem or giving fake solutions really makes clear DELL is not what it was. In the past they exchanged our accu's for free because they thought we had a bad serie and the wanted to prevent possible upcoming problems... This is a big leap down from what DELL used to be. This is a big disappointment!

Dell Inspiron n5110 not turning on
My Dell Inspiron n5110 core i5 i don't know what happen with it. two days ago system shows blue screen error try again and again it works but after that laptop not turning on i follow instructions in this blog to release flea power not working in the morning i start the laptop it turns on. i decided to reinstall windows 7. i did, it works very fine i installed all the drivers and install adob master collection and ms office 2010 works fine and i sleep and when in the morning again i try to turns on again same problem not turing on i also try to release flea power not turning on. after some time it works but again after some time again same problem my laptop is not turning on. please help me to out of this i m very disappointed how to turn it on forever.

Dell studio XPS 13 freezing
Hi,
my studio XPS 13 (bought 2010) never worked as it supposed to.
It freezes after nvidia video drivers installation. I've tried everything switching OS (WIN 7 32-bit, 64-bit - Vista 32bit), different drivers and always the same thing - it freezes after few minutes and I have to turn it off by pressing the power button. In last few years I've read everything about it and it works only without video drivers.
Now I need it for a server in my home lab and would like to connect it to external display, but I cant without video drivers.
Motherboard was changed, hdd and still the same issues.
Has anyone got a sollution after 4 years of pain?
(fact that I paid 1500$for it and it never worked is frustrating)

Inspiron N5010 graphics problem, no spare parts!! Surprised
I hv purchased this dell n5010 i5 with ati 1gb
With a hope that it will last for some good tym.within 1yr adapter went off,then dvd writer then battery. I didnt mind that time coz I replaced them individually. But this time,3yrs now,its really pathetic. I was getting graphics issues,vertical colorful bars,distorted images.so I called up the paid dell service nd as per him graphics card ato is damaged and for that the whole motherboard needs to be changed.. Omg.. This tym,I must have to say,u broke my trust dell.. Bye bye forever.. Donno abut others but my experience with dell hardware is really bad

dell repair center broke my computer instead
hi, I have a dell xps 15 l502x, service tag: [ADMIN NOTE: Service Tag removed per privacy policy]. which was sent to dell for repairs. when it came back , the previous issues were fixed, but the laptop now has a new problem: it makes a constant high pitch noise, I opened up the keyboard and saw the wire going from lcd to main chassis were severed, not tore but severed cleanly. the left speaker is completely broken. also the battery is the same old one which lasts 15 minutes at best. I suspect foul plays by dell repair workers. I cant listen to music nor watch videos with a broken sound system.
I had complete care warranty, if dell cant fix the laptop, (apparently they didn't repair the computer), dell shall give me a new one as complete care contract states. I have bought over 40 plus computers from dell, not only for myself but also for others like friends and relatives. I hope dell can treat their loyal customers nicely and fairly, and honor my complete care warranty. I don't expect a new xps 15 9530, I will be very satisfied with a refurbished xps 15 preferable with qhd screen and NVidia 750m video card, as long as its working.

I have a Dell Inspiron N5050 just moved from California pacific time to Texas central time when I went to change clock there were no options for different time zones now the options are only for different countries Can anyone help me??????

Latitude E7440 Ethernet port problem
I have a really weird issue with the Ethernet port on my E7440.
Cable A is 25 feet long. If I connect Cable A directly to the laptop, it will show that the cable is unplugged. If I connect Cable A to the docking station that the laptop is connected to, it will show that the cable is unplugged.
If I connect Cable A to a switch, then from a switch, I use a shorter 6 ft cable to connect to the laptop or the docking station, then it would work.
I have also switched out the E-port replicator with a few other replicators, and it would show the same issue. I've switched out the Cat5E cable, and anytime I use a cable that is longer than 6ft, it would not work.
However, if I connect Cable A directly to another Latitude E7440, then it would work just fine.
Any idea of this is a faulty Ethernet port or something else?

Laptop charging issue
I have dell inspiron N5010, During heavy usage of GPU/CPU, charging gets turned off in between. Not sure what could be the issue. I am using 90 W adapter which came with this laptop. I have updated the BIOS as per suggestion in WIKI. Please suggest what to do now.

Innspion n5110 RAM Slot problem
Today I purchased new 4 gb of RAM to add with my existing 4. When I put the in the lower slot the PC wont boot, only the 4 lights for power etc flash. The two DIMMs are working properly with the upper slot!

i bought dell inspiron 1464 on 2010,After 6 months, am suffering blue screen error, dell customer care recommend to replace Hard drive in warranty period, after analysing the diagonistics, there is a 'warning msg' ; DST SHORT TEST ; NO HARD DRIVE DETECTED..!!!
But hardware is dectected in bios, boot up..!
