Inspiron 11 touch screen stops working intermittently. Need to restart it. It was upgraded to 8.1. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix?

XPS L501x laptop won't go beyond Dell logo. Any help appreciated =)
Hi guys,
I wondered if any of you would have an idea of what might be wrong with my pc. Having generally worked fine, suddenly it will not POST. As soon as I hit the power button there is a continuous beeping (every 1.5-2 seconds) that goes on for about 75 beeps before stopping. A screen with the DELL logo pops up and a progress bar, but the bar won't complete and stops around 60% each time.
I have hammered or held down F2 and/or F12 repeatedly on pressing the power on button, but they don't respond. The only key that triggers anything is Escape. This generates the following report:

i recently boght inspiron 7000 series BUT when ever i try to start any game it shows 0x000007b error i tried two games and both of them gave same error.... i used to play those games on my pc and they work like a charm

Boot problems.
I'm not sure I'm posting in this in the right place, but here goes.
Ive got a brand new Dell xps14 here (2 day out of the box). I've used it very little, not more than changing the desktop wall paper and installing google chrome.
Today, when I went to start up my computer, the dell logo flashed for a moment and then it said:
Checking media [fail]
Checking media [fail]
No boot device found. Press ant key to reboot the machine.
So I entered the bios (F12: boot options was greyed out) , went to UEFI BOOT to discover windows boot manager was not there.
So, whats going on here?
I've had this computer for 2 days, hardly have had a chance to use it due to my busy schedule, and its already messed up.
This is not what I was expecting from this product at all.

Beeping started after I opened my laptop to clean the fan
my fan stopped working a month ago so i decided to open up the back to clear the dust today. the laptop is staying cool now but i keep hearing a gravely noise accompanied by beeps. it stops after awhile but it starts up again 10 seconds later. 6 or 7 quick beeps followed by 6 or 7 long beeps. then it starts over again. i tried my best to not touch anything when i opened it. does anyone have any idea what this could be? im computer illiterate...

No lights, Unknown Hardware
So I have had some issues with my m17x r3. One day, my alien effects just stopped working. I had researched and attempted to remedy the problem on my own. I ended up reformatting and reinstalling Windows 7, but this did not fix anything. I am now faced with an unknown piece of hardware (one is an sm bus controller, the other is on the PCI bus), microsoft.net framework keeps sending me "unhandled exceptions" I cannot access aw command center ( I ended up uninstalling it and trying to reinstall it) My device manger screen is flashing. I am starting to become frustrated and hopeless. If anyone has any idea or needs anymore information let me know.

My Dell laptop will not start up
I have my older Dell laptop that shut down the other day and I thought the battery had just ran all the way out, plugged it in left it to charge and when I went back it would not power up at all. My son's new laptop had this issue and the tech support had me press and F key repeatly and I think either hold down the power button or press it and let go? I wanted to try this with my laptop but can not remember what F key or the trick with the power button. Help please, hoping it's not gone had current work and family pictures on it.

[Dell Inspiron N5110 Laptop Windows 7 64-bit] Missing touchpad driver/support software
My computer is a Dell Inspiron N5110 Laptop Windows 7 64-bit. I recently reinstalled the OS aswell as the Drivers on CD that came with the computer. I am missing a driver that I need, it seems. My touchpad won't go off when I plug in my USB mouse. The software all the tutorials use is missing. I have downloaded the drivers I could find on Dell.com and still can't find it.
My touchpad is Elan, that is the only information it can give me. I want to turn it off when my mouse is plugged in. F3+FN isn't working, either.

Laptop has no power light
My Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series (model #5557) has no visible power light. I cannot tell whether my computer is off or hibernating because there is no light. When I am using the computer, the only light that is on is the occasionally blinking hard drive light. When I plug the computer in, it has a light saying that it is charging. When the cable is removed, the light goes off. The power button looks like it should have a light, but it is never on. Is this a setting or is it defective?

Dell 3521 Charging issue
Hi friends! There is a issue with my dell 3521 i3. When i plugged it charger it says that charging but not charge the battery and not consume battery for example i am using it from 2 days battery is 78% plugged in, charging but it still from 2 days. I change battery with my brother still issue i change charger still issue. my battery is working in my brother laptop. I also use many tricks like turn of remove battery and then turn it on on ac power but still issue, Please tell me someone is this an hardware issue or its an windows issue. Please please i am so worried about it.

XPS 12 9Q33 Q2 2014 still suffering from wake sleep & image retention issues
Didn't know what I was getting into until I started reading these Dell Forums. Purchased a XPS 12 9Q33 with i7 4510U CPU.
- Wake from sleep, the keyboard lights up, but blank screen, requiring forced shutdown to recover.
Verified Intel Rapid Start is not installed in Windows and A06 BIOS has not such option. - Temporary image retention/ghost burn-in issue shows up all the time.
I have latest A06 BIOS and latest video driver.
Intel released that i7 4510U CPU recently in Q2 2014. This suggests this laptop model line is still suffering from wake from sleep blank screen & image retention issues that a lot of others have reported from over 1 year ago.

Inspiron 17R 5737 quite possibly the worst laptop I've owned.
Purchased May 14
Within a few weeks, it stopped booting - well you press the Power button and nothing happens, sometimes you get the DELL logo and it all grinds to a halt. Sometimes no DELL logo and grinds to a halt.
A long press of the power button, after waiting to see if anything happens for 15 + mins, turns it off and then pressing the power button again and it all comes up.
DVD Drive stopped working, unresponsive, button wouldn't open tray - couldn't play DVDs.
Would get a Hydravision ? crash report which says the AMD desktop is being unloaded.
Did a system restore with the factory restore option and I'm afraid to report the Power & Hydravision reports still happen, I can play DVDs now thought.
Any suggestions, I have even started to use this laptop in anger yet because of the above issues. The words not fit for purpose keep popping into my head,
Would be grateful for a DELL rep to contact me to discuss further.

How to disassemble Vostro V131?
Hi!
I have laptop Vostro V131 on my desk. I installed windows 7 pro 64 bit on it. Installed all drivers too. Now the problem is that the left side of the laptop there are 2 USB port, 1 VGA port & 1 Ethernet port are not working. It is also not showing on BIOS too. Now I am trying to check on motherboard. But somehow I can not figure it out how to disassemble this laptop. I open the screw of the back side. I remove the hard disk and ram. I remove the keyboard too. and Remove all the screws from the still plate too, which is available under the key board too. Now I don't understand how to remove that steel plate. I don't want the damage the mother board. So if any body had the video on it and if they can forward the link of it. I really appreciated for that.

SD card reader no response - Latitude E5430
All of a sudden the SD Card Reader on E5430 laptop doesn't work When I insert SD card nothing happens. Before, a window would pop up, or I could see the SD card in my computer.
No nothing happens and it doesn't show up under my computer.
Also, under device manager -> storage controllers, not there any more.
I believe it's a O2 Micro OZ600xxx card reader. I tried installing driver, but still doesn't see SD Card when inserted.
Any idea if the SD Card reader is just dead? Or do I have a driver issue. How to tell?

Blinking battery lights (4 amber, 1 white)
I'm having the same issue with my Dell XPS L702. These lights keep blinking when the power cable is plugged in. I read another forum and it stated buy a new battery, so I did from Dell. Same problem, lights continue to blink. My bios is updated to current A19. When I initially turn on the computer it states "Battery is temporarily disabled. Please turn off the computer and try again when the unit is back to operational temperature." I checked the battery and it's not hot...or even warm, and the computer is not hot. The battery meter states 95%/Plugged in/not charging. The computer still works on AC power only so thinking the power adapter is still good, and still works on battery power only, so not sure what the problem is. I read through the forums and tried what was said. Can anyone help with this one? Thanks much.

Bluetooth install at each boot
Hi there,
Since a very long time my Dell 1745 insists on installing bluetooth drivers at almost every boot, cold as hot boot. The pc is more or less and froozen until its installed and "Your device is ready to use".
The driver it installs over and over again is:
- Bluetooth L2CAP interface
- Bluetooth Remote controll
- Bluetooth Hands-free audio
But when I go into Device manager it has an exclamation mark for:
* Other devices:
- Bluetooth peripheral device
- Bluetooth peripheral device
- Bluetooth peripheral device
- Unknown device
For the first three the properties box says Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator..., The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) etc
For the last one it says on PCI bus... The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
I've been trying to remove them from device manager, update them etc etc nothing it helps.
Any idea on how to get rid of this?

Dell Inspiron N4010 wont turn on
We have a 1 year old Inspiron N4010 that all of a sudden, will not boot up when you push the power button. I have unplugged, and pulled the battery out, with no result... It had the charging light on, but I read in a forum to also hold the power button for 30 seconds and then replace battery and plug back in.. still nothing, and now, the charging light doesnt even come on...
Any ideas????
