I have two , when I push the power button...The first one's fan goes on... than stops...the battery light and the stays on while the nine lock key the A lock key and the arrow lock key-- Flash --20 times than Stays on.....while the screen stays black? it is my memory I removed one at a time ..no change or maybe my hard drive ...switched them ...no change ........the hard drives makes no sound...the others battery light goes on ...nothing happens when you push power button....

Dell inspiron 7352 2-in-1 freezes randomly and requires hard reset for Windows 10
Hi,
I'm currently using Windows 10 Home anniversary build with my Dell Inspiron 7352 2-in-1 model (with solid sate drive and on-board Intel graphic card) and experiencing randomly freezes quite often. I have tried to update hardware drivers and bios but to no avail. I have clean installed Windows 3-4 times but still have seen the same issue. The only thing I can do is to hard reset. The problem happens most of the time when I watch video on Youtube or other sites that require flash player. I normally use Chrome and some suggested to turn off 'use hardware acceleration when available' but that didn't help in my case. In fact, the problem is also present when switching to other browser like Edge too. The video card driver has been updated and I also tried updating flash player but the problem still persists. Even worse, the freezing also occurs sometimes when I leave my laptop overnight without putting it into sleep or hibernation. The freezing occurs randomly but usually within a week it comes to say hi to me. It might be the next day after previous freezing. Sometimes after first hard reset it freezes all of the sudden and requires another reset. Because of this, it's really hard to tell whether the problem comes from hardware or software side. I have another laptop with Win 10 Pro anniversary build equipped with two hard drives (SSD and HDD) and dual graphic cards but this machine works like a charm without any problem.
I know this problem seems to be quite common to some Win 10 people but again it seems the cause of the problem varied among users. I would like see if anyone who has this issue experiences this similar behavior as my case, especially for people who are using Inspiron 7352 2-in-1. I would be appreciated if one could point out any other approaches to track down or solve the problem.

i7 Laptop that hates to shut down and start
I know how to get my i7, 17" laptop to get started from a shut down mode. I'm getting tired taking out the battery and trying to start it, then re-trying it until it catches. Is there going to be a free new battery, something to fix this? I don't want to buy another Dell for my family members with this issue outstanding.

Dell Precision 5510 won't start up
Hi,
I can't turn on my 5510 every time after I turn it off.Nothing happens when I press the power button.
When I unplug the battery and reconnect it I could start it, but that means I need to do this every time if I want to use my laptop.I wonder if there is any permanently solution.Thx

Windows cannot be installed to this disk
Hello,
I want to install windows 10 on my DELL latitude E5470 which has a samsung SSD mzhpu128hcgm-0000 as hard drive. but when i want to select this disk and install windows on it, i got this error message :
'Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.'
Please help me, I have no windows on my laptop now.

Unable to Upgrade RAM Vostro 3560
I went ahead and purchased 2x4GB RAM for my Vostro 3560 from Dell. I'm running Windows10 and am having difficulty to upgrade the PC with the RAM. Both the slots on the motherboard are OK as they are accepting 4gb (keeping the other slot empty). Together as well, in the system it's still showing 4gb. Pls help. I've also upgraded the BIOS.

Touch pad configuration
A few weeks ago I purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series, and the touchpad is a mystery. What areas do what? And I know if I push it hard enough, it pops or clicks. And that has the same effect as when I just touch it.
How does ALL of the touchpad work?

Inspiron 15 7000 series 7559 - No touchscreen after Windows 10 update
Recently Windows 10 decided that it would install an update. After that update, the touchscreen ceased to work. Since then, I have been trying to get it to work, but I have had no success. Dell provides no drivers for the touchscreen. This is how the touchscreen currently appears in the system profiler:
Dell support has only been able to tell me to send it in for repairs. That is not really an option for me, and it is a bit ridiculous given that it seems to be software.

battery issue
I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop. When I first turn it on (plugged in to power) it shows the battery is charging with those lines showing through the battery icon at the bottom right. But that only lasts about 10 seconds. When I hover over the battery icon, it says "1% available, plugged in, charging". However, it never charges. Computer works fine on AC Power with adapter. Does this mean I need a replacement battery?? I don't want to pay 100+ for a new battery and then find out the problem is something else!

XPS 13, 9343 - no option to connect to TV with 3k resolution?
So my XPS 13, 9343 desktop resolution is 3200x1800
yet, the available DA-100 USB 3.0 to HDMI/VGA/ethernet adapter only supports up to 2k resolution.
Mini display port only 1080p.
So is there no option for my laptop to stream 3k video to TV?
It only has two usb 3.0 ports, and one mini display port.

Closed laptop lid and wifi
Hi hoping someone can help.
I want to be able to access my new dell13xps via teamviewer or similar and I want to do this with the lid shut.
This works fine (when lid closed do nothing etc) and I can log on from another PC.
Obviously if i lose the wifi signal i have lost the connection; however if the signal then comes back it does not auto connect to it, which it does with the lid open and i can no longer remotely access it.
Have noticed that although i have specified do nothing when closing the lid, it does actually seem to switch off the monitor when it gets to say within 2 inches of closing.
I need true do nothing when closing the lid as it would then pick up the wifi once available
If anyone can help would appreciate it

9550&9350 Thunderbolt3 NVM driver version outdated!!!!!
The xps13 9350 & xps15 9550 Thunderbolt3 NVM driver are still in 16, but the xps13 9360 has the 18 one.
With the old version(NVM16) some device may fail to recognize, like Akitio Node which I am suffering.
please release the lastest NVM driver , or can i find the alternative solution?

Dell Update showing that I need to update the bios--message won't go away.
Dell Update is showing that I need to update the bios. I have updated and MSCONFIG shows that I have the latest bios (A09 from 8/29/16). If I go to the system configuration page on Dell.com it shows that the current bios is A04 from May 2015. If I go to the drivers and downloads page on Dell.com it offers to let me download version A07 from 11/2015). Why is Dell so confused and how do I get Dell update to stop bugging me?

Inspiron 15 3000 Series
Will this series work without a battery plugged in? One of the options to reset the Bios is to remove the battery, plug in the AC while holding down the Control Escape Keys. Without the battery the laptop never turns on.
Can anyone advise?

Small issue with Dell XPS 15 9550 screen
On the bottom left side of the screen there are two small pixels glow more than the others, is that normal?
Usually these two pixels appear clearly when you look from the left side on white backgrounds.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000U Series Cracked Screen
Hi.
I have got a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series Laptop and recently my screen got cracked, I purchased it in March from Dells official eBay store and I have still got warranty on the laptop till March 2017.
The laptop has a big slash on the screen and starting from the left bottom of the screen to top middle of the screen. I can still see like 30%-40% of the screen well. But the rest I have colourful lines going on on the screen.
I contacted Dell customer support and they told me that they do NOT cover such damage and I have to pay for the repair. I tried to escalate this issue to the complaint department but I have been rejected. Long story short they sent me a quote of;
$891.00 for the parts needed and,
$165.00 for the repair, which makes it the total of $1065 in Australian Dollars.
I find that ridiculously expensive and am not willing to pay for it. The total cost of the laptop was $1,119.20.
I was wondering if anyone ha had the same issue before and if they did how they ended up resolving this issue.
Can anyone also recommend me a solution?
Any help I appreciate it.

Have to click in order to get back to the active window
Hi everybody J
I’m basically forced to click after several seconds in order to continue actively in the window that I was in. Let’s say for example, right now I’m writing in this forum, and after a few seconds is like I’m automatically out of the window and I can’t write on it. I can obviously if I click on it, but then again it happens every 30 seconds or so and it’s quite annoying.

Inspiron 14 Won't Boot Up/ Start!
So I have a dell Inspiron 14 that won't boot up! Pretty much what happens is when I turn on the laptop, it shows the DELL logo, as usual. Then after a couple of seconds the logo disappears and the screen is gray, then after a couple more seconds the screen goes black. After 2 seconds then the logo appears again and the process is repeated. Please help, i'm trying everything!
