The touchpad is driving me mad. I dont get on with tap to click so i turn it off - not a problem. The problem I am having is when I bring my thumb down on the touch pad to click because that part of the touchpad is live it often moves the mouse. This is driving me mad. Is there a way of disabling the botom 1cm of the touchpad so that I can click it like a normal 2 button mouse??????
I have tried the Synaptic driver off their website and this imroves things slightly as you can define a mouse active area on the touchpad but it does not disable the two finger scroll in the area where I click with my thumb.
This is such a shame as I think the XPS 14 is one of the best laptops I have had and it is useless without a working touchpad. I am thinking of buying a Lenovo T430 which has 2 buttons - but crappy audio - at least it will be useable.
