Hi ...I am a Dell laptop user for past 1 and a half year....My dell laptop used to get heated up after 5 months of purchase...I called the technical support but first they tried to convince that laptop getting heated up & shutting down unexpectedly was normal.....later after persistently calling they agreed that there was a problem but refused to send someone to my home for servicing ....what is the meaning of onsite warranty if u refuse to send the technician to home?????.......later I due to my busy schedule started ignoring the problem as I noticed that if I kept my laptop at an elevated position with enough space below it some how managed to run upto 2 hours....now the laptop has given up...I feel really cheated by dell....its frustrating to spend so much of money for a laptop which would not even last 2 yrs ...I tried everything from cooling pads & what not but the prolem refuses to go.....Now I advise my family & friends to never buy dell.
Kindly let me know if If I can self service my laptop in any way by opening it......because I dont trust dell at all,,& I am not going to submit my laptop at their service center.
