XPS 15 SSD file size limitation?

I've got an XPS 15 L521x, with 512G SSD. Recently when I was trying to download a file bigger than 4G, I found it just cannot get the parts after 4G.

Can someone confirm that the limitation is with the SSD itself or not? If positive, can I manage to upgrade to the latest firmware to solve it, and how?

FYI, the file format is NTFS for sure, so it's obvious not the limitation of the OS.
