I am considering buying a used Dell Latitude D610 in an auction. But the guy that is going to sell it, cannot remember his password to get into it and has not used it for about a year. How can I get into the system to reset it ? Will I have to completely reset it back to manufacturer status and start over. or will the hard drive have to be completely cleaned out and reformatted? Thanks for the help! (I wanted to know before I try to win the auction.)
