I signed into Dell Chat the other day to discuss an issue I've been having with my speakers and earphone port. Fortunately, the representative realized that if he were to replace the motherboard, it would be the 4th motherboard he would be replacing in the last year with previous replacements on the LCD monitor, the keyboard, a fan, and ac adapter. The representative offered a system exchange which I accepted. The only problem is, I don't understand how to check the Order Status. Also, how long is it supposed to take? It's been about 6 business days and on the order status page, I can't find any existence of a system exchange at all. It doesn't say pending or anything it just has my initial laptop order back in January of 2006. Can anyone please advise? Are any Dell Moderators able to check on this issue and estimate when I'll be receiving the system exchange? Also, I have an Inspiron 6000 which is no longer in existence.
