Hey all, just looking for some suggestions. I originally called dell for my M18 Alienware because the HDMI port would not recognize a HDMI 1.4 cable and the daughter board kept kicking off external drives. The sent out a tech to replace the video card thinking it would fix the HDMI issue........NOPE. I‘m no computer guru but seemed obvious even to me it was a mother board issue. He didn't even have any notes about the daughter board or the right side USB port issue. Eventually the tech got a depot request approved, and it has been there for over a month, every week e rep calls and asks if I got my laptop yet, I have to remind them its still in depot, REALLY, I have to tell them......... ? Then they look at their "notes" and say give it another week. Now I don't even get calls, depot status has been in repair for awhile. This seems ridiculous, is there anything I can do to speed this up or at least get something out of them having my expensive laptop for as long as they want to keep it?
