DELL HARD DRIVE FAILURE!!

OK,below is a conversation between dell customer service,a supervisor and I.This is pretty much self explanatory for the reason I refuse to buy anything from dell again!!!I suggest if you buy a dell don't expect to get anywhere with customer support or service for any issues that you may have!!!! Not sure how long this will be posted because I'm sure dell doesn't want you to see  how they treat their  customers.

i have recently expierienced alot of problems with my dell xps 17,recently a tech had to come out and do an on site repair to replace my hard drive,there were alot of programs missing and one in paticular that i realy need and use often was microsoft office starter that was preloaded at time of purchase,there is no download anywhere for the office starter program through microsoft as it is a preloaded program

the problems with this dell has cost me 7 days of work now so far at 300 a day,that is a total of 2100 us dollars i have lost as a result of faulty hard drive

MS office starter pack is a complimentary software which dell installs only on new systems, now as the hard drive is been replaced MS office starter will not be installed on it.

it came with my pc when i purchased it new ,ithats why i purchased the dell in the first place,it is gone now because your hard drive failed after only 5 months and i exspect the original software to be back on my pc as that is the way i bought it

#1 i dont care if you offer it on a one time basis,it was on my pc when i purchased it,you guys replaced my hard drive,it should have been preloaded on the new hard drive period,your hard drive failed,lossing my software that is supposed to be installed from the factory,#2 i dont want a "trial" version,i want my office starter back as you guys have already cost me over 2000.00,i will contact my attorney and file a suit for lost wages against dell and for getting ripped off over a pre installed program that you are telling me is no longer available on my system due to your hard drive failure

also,the trial is only for 60 days,then where do i go from there?i dont think so,either reinstall the original software on my pc,send me the starter disk,or do whatever you have to but i expect it to be handled appropiatly in a timnely manner

Frankie , I do understand that you are upset about this , but Office starter is a one time complimentary OEM software from Microsoft which is installed on Dell computers.
