Hi - I am new here so be gentle with me !!
My Dell Vostro 1540 , which I turn off every night - NOT standby or hibernate -- boots up at exactly 14:10pm every day.
If the power supply is not connected it doesn't --- that is until I plug the power supply in at anytime past 14:10pm then it boots up without touching the power button.
The bios is current - looks very basic - and there are no timers or wake up commands set anywhere I can see.
In fact I can't see ANY settings that can be altered by "time".
I have restored factory bios defaults with same result.
Is there access to a hidden menu for power settings in the bios somewhere.
Any help appreciated --- thanks.
Regards
