Moving Windows 8 OS to SSD Drive XPS15 L521X

I just got my XPS 15 L521X from Dell Outlet today and noticed the Windows 8 Operating System was installed to the much slower 1 TB spinal Hard Drive.  I would like to move it to the 128 GB mSSD drive.

What’s the best way to do this?

I see the options as:

1. Clean install of Windows 8 to the SSD drive
2. Close the HHD drive to the SSD drive (if I can
   find a way to clone the 1 TB drive down to the 128 GB – had issues with this in
   the past even though the larger drive had little data on it)
3. Other?

I’m thinking a clean install of Windows 8 would be the right approach but I’m worried I’ll not get all the drives and utilities installed correctly and others seemed to have issues installing Windows 8.

Any advice would be great.
