Hi, my newly bought 5720(i3, 2.4ghz, 6gb ram, 1tb hdd, windows8, 64bit) stopped working after a last night update i supose as ive seen this problem happening on other 5720's on this forum.
The laptop starts, i see the dell logo, then a black screen. When i press any key i see the progression bar empty, and just F12 option
I tried everything adviced in other topics but nothing happends. Among others i tried:
Change the SATA operation in BIOS from AHCI to ATA, reboot and change it again
Turning off secure boot
Trying to add new boot option gives me a "File system not found" error, Same error if i try delete boot option
Changing the boot list option from UEFI to Legacy(When i do this the only thing that changes is when i start the laptop and the dell logo comes up the progression bar is completing and then black screen. with this set to UEFI i dont see the progress bar at all under the dell logo)
Selecting Load setup defaults in bios will stuck the laptop so i have to reboot it.
Someone mentioned to run a bios update thru a usb, that wont work either

I ve seen that all users that have this problem end up by sending the laptop back to dell and replacing the motherboard. I bought this laptop from dell UK and i brought it to Cyprus. This is covered by local dell rep if there is any anyway? or i have to send it back to UK?
