Device Manager shows an unknown device in Other Devices. Possibly it's related to the ST MicroScreen Detection Sensor as Action Centre intermittently lists it as not being compatible with Win7 (but not at the moment). I don't understand this as it was compatible when I bought the laptop! Can someone help me resolve what it is?
There's been a reinstall of Win7 x64 and drivers on to a new HD via a Dell download. Since that nothing much else is installed. Dell XPS17 L701.
Also...
Installed the correct or updated driver for USB3.0 Controller, as that also was listed in Device Manager>Other devices, and Action Centre. Now AC says Win Updates>settings need changing - this is up to my preference of course but the option to change is greyed out even in an Administrator account. I would like to feel in ownership of my system! So would really appreciate advice on resolving this too, please.
