Ever since upgrading to windows 10 my laptop will not go into sleep mode, it just shuts off. Even when I specifically click the sleep button. When I go to us it again, I find it has turned off and I must restart it.

Error Code BIST
The error code I got on my Latitude e6440 was 3 beeps, then 2 beeps, then 1 beep, and it repeated until I turned the laptop off. What's wrong with it? I want to fix the issue if possible. Thanks!

Two QHD-Monitors possible with WD15?
Hi,
I'm failing to figure out if it is possible to operate two QHD-Monitors (UP2516D) with a WD15 452-BBOT and what the framerate would be. The Dell website just tells me that there are up to three monitors (1x4K + 2xHD) possible - what I don't know is, if there is more bandwidth available when I only connect two monitors, none of them with 4K resolution. My PC is an XPS13 9350-4884, in case that matters.

Trouble retrieving BIOS PASSWORD (Out of Warranty)
Forgot the BIOS password for my Dell Inspiron 15R laptop (out of warranty) and the Customer care person keeps telling me a password which never works.
Lastly, they tell me to change the motherboard!! I mean seriously..
It has been a troublesome period of last 4 months for me considering the laptop not being usable at all.
This is so frustrating!! I do not want to regret why I bought DELL at first place.

I attempted to enter my password. Then, realized the prompt changed... Prompt now reads " Enter System Password ".
I'm stumped and now my laptop is useless. I'll probably replace it soon. But, would love to have access to my Dell XPS 12, again.

problem with Alien FX drivers for a gaming mouse
Hi,
I have purchased a Roccat Kone XTD Gaming mouse last night and I am having some problems installing the drivers for it. (Alien FX)
When I am about to start the installation, the setup program freezes as in it does not allow me to advance with the installation. It makes a Windows sound every time I try clicking Next or anywhere else on the window as if something else was open from the same program, however there was nothing. I have tried running it multiple times, I tried restarting my pc, I also tried a custom installation but that resulted into the same problem shortly after.
I have a Lenovo Y500 Laptop, with Windows 10 64bit OS.

Is there a solution for this? Does this happen often? Hopefully someone can help me. :)

Am using my laptop for casual purpose like watching movies and some Internet access. .. nothing too heavy
Still my laptop is getting too much hot that i can't even touch its backside (even if its not on charge)
Its jus one month old device and am gettin disappointed by this heating

I'm on BIOS A10.
What could the solution be?

Memory upgrade for Inspiron 13 5000 series (2 in 1)
Hi, this may seem like a stupid question, but I recently got the entry level Inspiron 13, 5000 series (i3, 4gb Ram). I want to upgrade the memory as it's a bit sluggish. Dell's site said this model only has one Ram slot. I've been told it actually has two. I'm a clumsy oaf and don't want to open the case unnecessarily (and break those awkward little clicky 'lips'). Can anyone tell me if there is one slot or two?
I ask because, if there is just the one, I'll go for 16, if it's two, I'll go for an 8 to make a total of 12.

XPS 13 charging LED won't turn off
I have bought a new XPS 13 (9350), which I have been using for just around 5-6 days. I noticed that the LED below the touchpad would turn off when the battery reached 100%, at least it was the case in the previous days. However, it is now showing "100% available (plugged in, charging)", while the white LED is still on.
I am worried if there is something wrong?

Dell 1555 does not boot
Hi all,
My Dell 1555 does not boot. I tried to release the static to no avail. When the power button is pressed, the fan comes on and the keyboard lights up, but nothing further. The screen stays off and no other sounds (beeps or otherwise) come from the laptop. I plugged an external monitor into the left side of the laptop and powered it on, and still no display.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Restart hangs with blinking hard drive led.
My Latitude E6430 was updated from win7pro to win10pro - no BOIS settings were changed. It has 8 GB of ram inspected, reseated and tested. It hangs with a blinking hard drive led that requires pressing the power button to complete on any restart. No problems booting from power button or shutdown.
I tried to install suggested updates for the Network and Chipset on the support site, locally and in safe mode - Say they install but not to the most current. The current BIOS A16 won't update to the current A18 or A17. Could it be that pressing the power button on restart clears the bios and driver updates?

Inspiron 11 3000 glitching
I will try to describe my problem as best as possible. I have a DELL Inspiron 11 3000 that I purchased about 2 years ago. I updated it to Windows 10 last year when the update was available.
It was working fine until about 2 weeks ago when the laptop froze. No mouse reaction, no Ctrl-Alt-Del reaction. The only way to make it react was by holding down the power button for about 6 seconds. I also noticed that the screen went black and random flashes of white rectangles and lines would flash on the screen as I moved the laptop screen. In some cases, the problem would repeat after restarting the laptop.
Further tests revealed that the screen would flash with different patterns of white rectangles and lines depending on pressure applied to the corners of the laptop's main area (that is, the bottom part of the laptop). I also noticed that the laptop was getting unusually hot and in one case it was hot while it was powered down and charging.
The problem occurs sporadically. When it does happen, the laptop is completely unresponsive, except for the strange flashes whenever the main laptop body is flexed. The flexing is minimum, as the laptop is sturdy, but not 100% solid. I should note that we take great care of this laptop. It has not been dropped, banged or crushed in any way.
I can post a video of the laptop's behavior if necessary, but will need to wait till it happens again.
Any orientation or suggestions on how to troubleshoot it or actions to take are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you! Saga.
