Hi, I found a lot of answers on the topic but unfortunately none resolved it. So it's simple - the charger is not charging beyond 44% and recently it increased to 48%, and it says "not charging". Battery health is good, I updated the bios, reinstalled both battery drivers multiple times in multiple ways. I am using windows 10, desktop and longevity options for battery are disabled. Only thing I didn't try yet is turning off computer, battery out for 2-3h, etc. due to not having clear steps on how to perform it + would like to know if it's needed.

I had a problem with the Latitude E7470, it then why not turn on the TPM.

In the BIOS, this tab is absent, the firmware is the latest.

Hi, 
I have a  XPS 13 (9343), and few days ago I have upgraded the OS to WIN10 (from WIN8 Pro). 
Since the update the laptop crush daily (more than once a day) with a blue screen and the following error message: 

system_thread_exception_not_handled (bcmwl63a.sys)

Does anyone experienced the same and have a solution? 

Please, I am desperate...

I've already updated the bios, yet the processor fan is still not working. I've run a diagnostic previously and the processor fan speed is 0 rpm. Also the processor thermistor says its 106 degrees. What should I do?

My Inspiron 15Z notebook had come with Windows 8 & later on I upgraded that to Windows 8.1. During recent free upgradation from Microsoft, I upgraded my system to Windows 10. Sice then, my system has become slow. It takes long time to start. Also Dell Backup & Recovery doesn't work with Windows 10.Should I revert back to 8.1

When I turned my Inspiron 11 3168 on today, the touch screen and the two USB ports (USB 2.0) on the right side weren't working. Multiple resets did nothing. when i ran the diagnostics tool on dell's support page, it showed that my mouse and USB key were plugged in to the two USB ports on the right. However, neither devices would actually work unless they were plugged into the left USB port (USB 3.0). i tried a couple different mice and USB keys and encountered the same problem. Also, since the touch screen didn't work, i was forced to fail the tests in the diagnostics tool.

I'm not entirely sure what is wrong, but I plug my computer in and at first its fine. then if i move it the least little bit, my computer stops charging, and then sometimes I have to hold the charger in place it make it charge, or else it just stops. Even when the charger is in the computer sometimes it won't charge. I got it in December of 2015, so im kind of upset that something is already bad. I don't know if its a short in the charger, or if the plug in on the computer is not making good contact with the charger. But something is wrong, has anyone else had these kinds of issues.

I have all the latest Dell software and firmware updates, according to Dell Command Update. I also have all the Win7 updates.

5510 Thunderbolt Works With Linux Mint17, Win10 but not with Win7

I need it to work with Win7.

Does anyone have the Thunderbolt on 5510 working with Win7 ?

Hello!

I have rather fresh m7510 with two SSD's. Primary, where OS was installed is on the factory, came with the system, another 850 EVO was added later. I have installed Samsung Magician to look at my drives. It does recognize the latter, but tell it does not perform optimum because AHCI mode is disabled in BIOS. Yes, I have tried change to 0 the Start value for msahci, iastorv, atapi, no luck.

So question #1, what is right way to get AHCI in this system. OS is Windows 7 64-bit.

The second question is that most of software recognized that primary drive as

MP59 1VNeMS MAUSGN2 65BG

while Intel RST tells it is

PM951 NVMe SAMSUNG 256GB

So I am curious about those character scrambling and interested, how to get it under Samsung Magician control.

My Dell laptop will not turn back on. The piece that goes into the laptop from the plug seems loose. The light on the AC adapter is green,but the light on the laptop will not go on. I have trued the things in the above posts to see if they work but it will not turn on. This is extremely frustrating. I don't know if I should buy a new ac adapter or what. Any help is appreciated.

My computer touch pad doesn't seem to work properly since Ive had it, when i try to use it the pointer moves around erratically if at all.  The strange thing is that when i connect my computer with the Ethernet cable the touch pad scrolls and works perfectly fine, Ive tried uninstalling drivers and reinstalling but still have issues, has anyone seen this before? Im also have issues with the battery not charging, says this is not the recommended battery.... please help

Hello

I am trying to determine fix a Dell Inspiron 11 (3147) that had a heavy object dropped on it.

It originally came to me with a cracked digitizer. I attempted to turn on the laptop to determine if the LCD was damaged as well but the laptop will not boot.

I do not see any Dell logo, and am unable to access the BIOS. The power LED will turn on, you can hear the hard drive begin to spin, and then a click (from the HDD). I have removed all external media (SD card, USB, etc) and eventually the internal HDD itself.

With all of these removed, I am still unable to get to the BIOS or see any DELL logo on the display.

This is beginning to seem like a possible motherboard issue to me, but I was wondering if anyone else had suggestions on some debugging steps to verify that is/is not the case. I'm a bit stumped because I can't even get to the BIOS, so I'm not sure what to do.

Hello.

So yesterday, I was using my 3135 inspiron, it was running all fine with Steam and Google Chrome both open. I was checking on my phone, and my notebook shut down of a sudden, a force shutdown. I turn it back on, it starts giving me the 7 beep code, I looked it up and it was a CPU Cache test failure. Is there any way I can fix this?

i tried to reset my laptop while keeping all my settings and information and the reset wouldn't work and sent my laptop into not starting up. it wont go past the dell logo and ive tried doing diagnostics tests and gone through BIOS and NONE of it works. i even took the battery out and nothing works. help me please im going to need this for when school starts again soon.

Hi:  The lock receptacle on the inspiron 7359 is smaller than the standard laptop receptacle size.  The guys at best buy weren't able to help.  Does anyone know what locks will work on this laptop?

My younger brother spilled water on my Dell Inspiron 3520. The water spilled all over the keyboard. It has been left to dry for a while now, bit it doesnt turn on. I left it plugged in for half an hour and it just gets hot, but doesn't turn on or anything. Should I risk changing the keyboard? Or did is it something else?
