I am seeking help for buying a new m2 ssd for my new laptop. I have Alienware 15 R2 Skylake and I am not sure if it supports the samsung 950 pro m2 ssd. Could you please help? below is my laptop specifications

I ordered the new Dell XPS 15 9550 a little while ago. It's a great machine, but there was an issue with a metallic rattling inside one of the speakers, especially when playing high notes. I got a replacement, the sound is fine, but the screen is different on that one. It's the same type of screen, same manufacturer (LG) but the colours, brightness and white balance are off. It's almost got a very subtle yellowish, muddy tint that is warm. The whites are not white any more and it does not seem as bright. I had them side by side so I could compare and the difference is obvious.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the screen - but it does seem odd, and I got a hunch that Dell have made some adjustments to the BIOS or the default colour profile.
Has anyone ele experienced this, and is there a fix for this?

Howdy! My laptop is a M4500 Precision Mobile Workstation, 2nd gen dual i7, Nvidia Quadro Fx 880m 'n 8 Gigs of RAM, operating on a 64bit Windows 10. My question is this: Can I change out my Nvidia Quadro Fx 880m for something more powerful, being that its a dedicated card and not integrated?
Hi, I have recently installed Broadcom 802.11n Network adapter and its causing freezing problem in my laptop. Everything works fine for few minutes then screen freezes, there is no response of mouse and keyboard, I have to press power button to restart again. I have updated driver using Device Manager and manual downloading zip files from various tutorials. Still the problem exists.
However the problem does not occur on Linux OS. I can use Laptop all day on Linux.
My configurations
Model: Dell Inspiron 3537
Dual Boot: Windows 10 and Linux Mint
Bios Version: A08
Other configurations is same as the time of purchase of laptop. Please help me to solve this problem.

I have an Inspiron 15, 5000 series laptop running Windows 10. It worked using AC power, but not battery. The toolbar battery icon message says "0% available (plugged in, not charging). I have tried several variations of online recommendations to remove the battery and either disable, reinstall, or uninstall drivers. All were unsuccessful.
I did notice that if I remove the battery, the battery icon says "no battery detected". When I plug it back in, the text changes for about 1 minute to "0% (plugged in, charging), and the icon shows charging, but then it reverts to the 'normal' "not charging" status.
Based on this info, how do i determine if this is a hardware problem requiring a new battery, if it is a software problem other then the driver problem that tried earlier, or some other charger problem?

Hello, I am trying to replace the screen inverter for my latitude e6430 its a slightly older model 2012'ish . I am having trouble finding what screen inverter it is supposed to have. The problem I am having is that my computer is completely black screened, but if you shine a light on the screen you can see that it is still displaying there is just no back light to light the screen. While doing a little research online I found the problem most likely seems to be the screens power inverter. If anyone could help me out in pointing me in the right direction for a inverter it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Been getting a dell update notification for the last week or two and after I finally clicked on update my laptop is now very laggy. If i try to play video I get choppy sound and video. When i look at the task manager there isnt anything hogging the Cpu, HD, or memory.

I want to report a problem with BIOS update for Win7 64-bit OS on my Dell Inspiron 3543 laptop. After BIOS update from A06 to A07 (or A08 the symptoms are the same) windows 7 freezes on the start (after welcome screen). I have found that there is a problem with service called "Multimedia Class Scheduler". When it is disabled the OS starts normally (except services connected with "Multimedia Class Scheduler"), but when this service is enabled OS freezes and you cannot do anything.
It would be nice if this error can be fixed, because I also want to upgrade my laptop with latest BIOS fix. Is there anybody with the same problem, who manage to resolve it? Any help would be appreciated.

HI EVERYONE! ive got this problem!..when i reboot the audio doesnt work , and same for the video ..seems like i miss some driver but is not!
i've tried several times to remove and reinstall the video and audio driver ..without any success,,

My LCD has been having green lines across the upper left portion. It used to just a dot, but it expanded to about 6 inches now. I am planning to have the LCD replace but the only available LCD resolution near me is lower than 1980x1080. Can I have replace the LCD with a lower resolution? or is there still a way to fix the LCD?
Another, my speakers are broken already. Only the right front speaker is functioning. Is there a way to repair or replace the speakers?

I have been using this laptop without any issues. Yesteday I used the laptop and then properly shut it down. When I came back to use it, I could not power it on
Though when I plugged in the power cord, the front battery status light works, but when I press the power button it does not start the laptop.
I have tried to remove the battery and unplug the the power cord, pressed the power button for over 2 minutes, then pluggedin the power cord again but didn't work. Please help if you know of a solution that might work
Do Dell UK sell and fit a replacement backlit keyboard in the UK.
My current keyboard has stopped working.
I can't find replacement part on Dell UK website.

My dell laptop just got turned off all of a sudden a few hours ago.It was running just fine and I was running some films on it.Suddenly it got turned off and i saw the lights of the adapter has also turned off.I plugged it again tightly to the power source and then saw it adapter indicator lights got turned on.But as soon as i connected it with the laptop it again got turned off..I tried with a different charger and the result is same.
Can't make out whats the issue.
If you guys know anything about the issue,please do share.
Recently I found that my XPS 12 screen leaves behind a ghost images when i flips between bright and dark screen. Found few postings online that says Dell offers free replacement for the screen even if the warranty has expired. please advise if this is true.

I'm trying to install a new 480GB SSD in my Inspiron 5558 (came w/ Windows 10 installed on a 1TB HD). I made a USB recovery drive, swapped the disks, and booted from the recovery drive. Diagnostics finds the new SSD and says its OK. However, when I choose the Recovery option the process stalls at 37% completed and says "Failed to apply image". I have tried this with Secure boot on and off. Dell wants $$ to send me OS media for a clean install. Any suggestions?
