Cannot Enter BIOS
I am having a problem with my M6800. Pressing F2 during boot will not get me into the BIOS, the computer just boots into Windows. Pressing F12 does not get me into the boot menu. It seems that the keys are being ignored during boot. Any ideas? I want to install Windows 10 in a new partition so I can boot to either Windows 7 or 10 for development purposes. Thanks,

Dell Inspiron 13 i7359-8408SLV Drivers
Hey everyone,
First off sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, but im a, hopefully soon to be dell inspiron owner. Im looking into the Dell Inspiron 13 i7359-8408SLV model. I saw it in person and I liked everything about it. Unfortunately, ive read on multiple reviews and forums that it has its issues, but luckily its a quick fix with the installation of a couple of drivers.
I figured I could come here, on the Dell forums, and hopefully you guys can either list/ link me to the appropriate drivers, prior to me getting the actual laptop.
Also what do you guys think about buying open box laptops, say from Best buy, that are in excellent condition to save a significant amount?

Dell 7559 screen/display flickering issue
Hi all,
I've recently bought a Dell 7559 refurbished, with the Intel core i5 and GTX 960m. Within a day or two of use, the screen began to flicker upon booting up or waking from sleep mode, and it seems that the longer the laptop was in sleep/off mode, the worse the flickering is upon booting up. I've been trying to figure out what's going on, I've updated all drivers and such from the Dell support page, but nothing seems to fix this issue. Does anyone know what's going on? I'm certainly bummed out to have run into this issue within just days of buying the product. I've uploaded a youtube video to try and show what's going on.

DELL Inspiron 14Z 5423 - 5 beeps, battery 1%, cannot flash bios
Hi, I have several problems with my laptop. It began when it sometimes stuck on first logo. I did recovery but it didn't help. So I tried to flash new bios A13(I had A06) from windows. After restart I could see only black screen. After unsuccessfull trying of everything I disconnected CMOS battery to reset bios and since this act I get 5 beeps at startup even if I changed battery for new one. I finally boot to windows but: Bios stayed unchanged(A06) and my battery is now on 0%, it says charging but it doesn't charge. I did DELL diagnostic tests from boot menu with 100% success. In these tests battery show 1%. I tried to flash bios again(from DOS, v. A08) and the same result, black screen at first (for long time)and after boot BIOS stayed the same - A06. Dell studio 1555 power button broken problem
Hello everybody; I have dell studio 1555 in my use since last light I accidentally borken its power button cover on right hinge and its inner slodering of three wires with button pcb are broken... as it is micro soldering, I am not been able to solder it and even worsen the case I lost one soldering tip of pcb while removing upper glue. I have important files in my laptop to work on. Kindly help me in which direction I can proceed to fix this problem?

Dell Precision M6500 Wifi+Bluetooth
Hello.
My Dell Precision M6500 has two separate half-mini PCI-e slots for WiFi (WLAN) and Bluetooth (WPAN) cards.
Can I install a combined WiFi+Bluetooth module in on of them? Will it work completely, or partly (or finelly not)?

Dell Secure Manager Lock on Latitude e6420 after Broadcom USH Firmware Update
My Latitude was 100% password free up to 5 minutes ago. The hard drive is new, and I did a clean reinstall of Windows 10. After a successful update of the Broadcom USH firmware via DOS, the computer has now locked me out.
The message is "Dell Secure Manager" - This computer system, <service tag>-6FF1, is protected by a security authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without the correct password. Please type in the system or administrator password.

Inspiron M5030 recovery boot issue. Recovery disk does full restore and starts Win7, which operates fine. But on restart, windows will not boot.
I get a message that Windows failed.
Status: 0xc000000e
Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.
It instructs me to insert the windows installation disc, restart, and run "repair your computer". However, I did not receive an installation disc, only a utilities disk (which does not boot)
What do I do now?

Dell Inspiron 3521 is beeping after turning on
Hello Admins, I have Dell Inspiron 3521. I bought it in August 2013. Since a month ago, the laptop keep beeping after started up (after the power button was pressed.
It goes like this :
- I press the power button
- it looks like it'll started up, but suddenly it stops, the screen remains black and only the power indicator that lights up.
- it starts to beep one beep at a time, with some seconds interval.
It has started like this for several months. At first i didn't bother by it, because when it happened, I just force shut down once, then it started like usual. But this month I must put the laptop at sleep if I want it to remain ON. If i ever shut down or restart the laptopa or the battery is dead, it'll only can start up after tens time pressing the power button thena force shut down. Today it really didnt work.
I have try pressing the f12 key after power button. But nothing happen.
Your answer is really appreciated.

E5510 will not boot.
Hello guys,
I have a Dell Latitude E5510 that will not boot up. A friend was carrying it around and shut the laptop down while it was performing Windows updates. The next day I tried to boot it up and it would not come back up.
I cannot do anything to this computer to get it to come back up. I turn on the device and the Dell loading screen show and the progress bar completes but then a black screen will show up and nothing else. Some times the blinking underscore in the upper left corner will show but most times just a black screen. I check BIOS and the hard drive, memory, and dvd drive all show available. Running A13 BIOS code.
I have tried to reformat the drive but when I try to go to the one time boot choice I select either USB or DVD drive and then just a complete black screen again. I try to go to Diagnostics and black screen. I have tried to swap out hard drives to no avail. Swapped out memory to no avail as well. Unhook one RAM and the dvd drive and nothing.
Some times pressing F8 will give me the option to try to boot into safe mode and pressing any of the three options looks like its loading files and then glitches out and reboots into the black screen again; sometimes blinking underscore, sometimes just black screen. I cannot get it to boot into a USB or windows OS CD.
Any advise is welcome!

But,i alreday tried lots of way to fix this problems still i can't fix the flicker problem
I changed the power plan to High performance
I changed the Intel graphics video setting from maximum power saving to maximum performance
Finally,i updated my display drivers also .
Guys,please help me to fix this problem because it irritating me while playing games.

Dell XPS 15 9550 Charging
I bought a Dell XPS 15 9550 less than two months ago and already have to send it in because it won't charge and the battery says it need to be replaced and of course it's past the 21 day return policy. Poor QC! It looks like others are having the same issues. A $1500 machine should not have these issues in such a short time. Last time I line Michael Dell's pockets.

Hello all....I have recently upgraded my xps m1730 from vista pro to win 10. Is that a way to shut off the front panel lights and the lights on the keyboard. They suckup too much battery life.

Task Scheduler & Secure Boot
I have a Dell Inspiron 3451 running W8.1 with Bing. The computer works reasonably well.
I have the following two items in the PI folder of the Task Scheduler.
Secure-Boot-Update: This task updates the Secure Boot variables.
Sqm-Tasks: This task gathers information about the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), Secure Boot, and Measured Boot.
I would like to disable these two items. I currently don't use Secure Boot, and don't plan to for the foreseeable future. I am also advanced enough to change these tasks back if I should start to use Secure Boot again. Do you recommend disabling these task scheduler items?

Warning battery cannot be identified. System cannot charge the battery.
Hi,
When I switch on my laptop today, I got the warning "Warning battery cannot be identified. System cannot charge the battery." If I plugin my adapter, laptop is running on AC power, if I remove the plugin, laptop is turned off. I have downloaded latest BIOS update but still the problem persists.
Details: Dell Inspiron 3521, Windows 10, latest BIOS V14.

BIOS update crashed, how can I recover?
While running the BIOS updating program from the Dell support site on my Inspiron mini duo 1090, it crashed and corrupted my BIOS. Now when I try to power on, it beeps once every two seconds or so and won't boot up. I've tried removing the batteries to reset the BIOS but it does nothing. The only other thing I've seen out there is to replace the motherboard, but I'd rather about that. It's there anything else I can try? I am way of it warranty so this is a diy job. Thanks for any help and let me know of you need more info from me.

Unable to change display brightness on XPS 13(L321X)
Help... Several months ago, my ability to change screen brightness on my great little XPS 13 quit working. I have been through the forum and tried reloading drivers - updating BIOS - etc. And, still no go. Everything on the computer seems to work normally, but I would like to be able to brighten the screen some. It appears stuck at a low intensity (all controls indicate 100% brightness).

New Battery not working
Hello,
I replaced the battery of my laptop ( Inspiron 17R SE 7720) with a new one.
But the Old one is 48 Wh and the new is 60wh.
When the laptop has started, this message appears " Warning, this battery is not recommended for this system use. It may only have limited features and non optimized performance. " .
What shall I do ?
