My dell laptop is only 2 months old and randomly at night it shuts down and says bad pool. it come back up quickly but its a pain when your in a game. should i have the dell diagnostic check it out?

My Inspiron 5737 is not listed but there are other Dell Inspiron models that use exactly the same accessories as mine such as batteries, ac adapters etc.

XPS 9350 and Dock with 180W Adapter (4W2HW) COnnection Issue
I recently purchased a $200 dell dock station for my Dell XPS 13 9350. I hooked up ethernet cable, audio cable, external webcam, a WD MyBook, and a usb hub with my wireless keyboard and mouse on it. I connected my dock to my laptop using the USB-C cable but I ran into some annoying issue: The internet keep switching between ethernet and wifi and it would make the USB plugged in/unplugged sound once in a while. The mouse and keyboard receiver are completely unusable so I have to plug it directly to the laptop.
The weird thing is if I unplug the ethernet cable then everything is fine!? I am confused and annoyed because I just paid $200 to have my desk cleaned, and only have to use one cable for everything but seems like the dock can't even get the job done. Is it because of the lack of bandwidth? Someone help me please! Also, I have updated ALL drivers to the most recent one, so please spare me on that solution.

RE: Dell Inspiron 13 7347 Wi-fi Card Replacement
My wifi kept dropping with the WIndows 10 upgrade on the Inspiron 7347 so I swapped out the adapter with an Intel 7265 and it worked perfectly for the last 3 weeks until suddenly this morning, the computer stopped detected the adapter. I checked to make sure no wires had come loose. I even swapped in the old one. It seems like the computer is simply not detecting any wifi cards any longer. Any idea of what my have gone wrong? (I used the CTRL+PRT SCRN to ensure the computer wasn't in airplane mode, too).

Inspiring 1545 new motherboard , service tag #
The motherboard on my Ispiron 1545 laptop no longer works. Dell tech support informed me that a replacement was not available. I was able to purchase a new identical one and it works. Only problem is the service tag number no longer works. What is the fix for this?

Battery failure
I bought dell 5548 notebook from india on last summer now after 8 month the battery gone failure it do not charge i occassionaly use my laptop then what to do now currently i am in abudhabi uae is it possible that i can use warranty here in uae and replaced the battery from dell store and tge service tag are printed on the back of the laptop and warranty status are available on my online dell account give me suggestion regarding this and what other procedure i have to do for this

7 beep in dell N5010 laptop
hi
i have dell n5010 inspiron laptop having 3rd gen core i5 ,8gb ram , and 1gb ati graphic card...
at a time it was working very smooth although next morning i started laptop it sounds for 7beep i dont know know what to do ....
so i call my uncle for it solution it said that it was board issues so he did some thing in it ...and it starts ...
but now when i am playing css it will shutdown the computer in 15min of playing game ....
what it the problem i never face problem like this???? so pl... help me to get solution..

Wil my laptop work if I replace my CN-02V2HC motherboard with CN-03N0YJ?

inspiron 5110 ..laptop boots..show dell loading screen..restarts...
my dell inspiron 5110 is having sme prblem....when the power button is pressed..the laptop starts and it shows the dell loading screen...after the loading...it shows a black screen with an underscore blinking...for a second or two...
then it restarts and...this continues like a loop...restarting unlimited times after showing the dell loading screen...
wat i can do with it?

Dell Inspiron 5558 - Keyboard Backlight Issue
Hi Team,
I bought a new Dell Inspiron 5558 laptop. From the initial stage itself keyboard backlight is not working. I cant find any symbol for backlight in Fn keys. Below option have tried,
BIOS - Turned on the backlight
Mobility center - No keyboard backlight option
Control panel - In keyboard properties no backlight tab o modify.
I am feeling very difficulty in working in dark places. Please anyone help me to fix this issue in my laptop.

Missing storage in C drive all of a sudden
Have a Dell N5040. Comes with 500 G in storage. A few days ago, checked C drive storage capacity and it says 96.8. So suddenly I am missing a little more the 400 G. Any ideas why and how to fix.

How to disable Dell software?
I am having some issues with some of Dell's installed software on a Windows 10 laptop.
1. I uninstalled a driver for the Dell TB15 since I no longer have the dock. Dell update decided to reinstall it.
2. I disabled the two services for the Dell Data Vault when I found it was creating a lot of what I considered unwanted disk activity I don't use or need this service.
3. Somehow Dell Update was re-enabled and reinstalled Dell Data Vault.
4. Dell seems to install these updates without even asking for permission. [following Microsoft's lead].
Is there any way of controlling these software programs other than uninstalling them? There does not seem to be individual entries in "Programs and Features" for a number of these so I would guess I would have to uninstall the lot which is unfortunate since I do like the Support Assist System Summary of Changes, Updates, and Problems.

XPS 15 sleep and hibernate
i'm using windows 10. if i put the laptop in sleep mode or hibernate mode, the laptop shuts down. i tried setting the close lid action to do nothing and it shuts down the computer also. how can i close the lid in any mode so that the laptop does not completely shutdown?

Compatibility motherboards: 4200u vs 4300u?
I need to replace the motherboard on my Latitude E5540, specs below..
My question: Are the boards interchangable? Question regards teh integrated graphics the same on both boards? Heatsink size and placement the same? I can't seem to find that information on the wider net.

Dell Inspiron 15 5555 and Ubuntu
Just picked up this Inspiron from a Microsoft store with Windows 10 pre-loaded. I'm trying to install Ubuntu on it and I'm having issues. I've already changed the bios settings that pertain to UEFI and Secure Boot. I'm able to install Ubuntu but upon reboot I get a black screen. If I change the settings back from Legacy to UEFI, Dell's bios kicks in and says that there's something wrong with my hard drive.
Is this laptop "locked" to Windows OS only? Did I miss a setting somewhere? I searched and the Inspiron 5000 series is sold with Ubuntu on it. I've also checked if Ubuntu 14.04 is compatible and it is.
I've called Dell support and all I got was the run around. What should I do? I don't mind returning it and finding something else, but I would like to know why it isn't possible - if that's the outcome.

Cursor keeps jumping and clicking when Iaptop is on charge
I have an Inspiron laptop problem that has been driving me mad for the last few weeks, I have been searching for different solutions through the forums but to no avail.
When my laptop is not on charge, the laptop works fine but as soon as I put it on charge and try to use it the cursor bounces all over the place and doesn't let me use laptop. I have checked that I have the latest drivers, updated the BIOS but still nothing. I can plug my mouse in and it works fine when on charge but still doesn't solve the issue for like this weekend where I have forgot to bring it with me.
Any advice would be greatly appreicated

As I'm French, I'd like to order a replacement Fr keyboard and have it installed on my laptop.

Precision M6700 and updated Intel Rapid Storage driver
Dell has an updated driver of IRST IRST_Driver_Intel_A13_WIN_0FGYV_f6flpy-x64-SETUP_ZPE.exe, but this does not include the control panel utility to monitor and administer the raid volumes. The utility still listed, Serial-ATA_Driver_404F9_WN_11.2.0.1006_A02.EXE, does not work with the newer driver and crashes when opened. The only recourse is to reinstall the 11.2.0.1006 version of the driver. I have looked on Intel's support and download site, but can't find the control panel there either. Has anyone else figured out how to use the upgraded driver?
To Dell Support, why hasn't your utility installer been upgraded as well and when are you going to fix this?
