Greetings,
I'm sort of running out of options here.
To note, an engineer came to my home to change my keyboard in December as a few keys were broken. On his visit he noticed something was wrong with my HD as there was an error message. So the HD was replaced... and windows 8.1 re-installed...
Lately I've been experiencing some problems.
First, when I am watching videos on the laptop for whatever reason in the middle of the video, first the screen goes grey with some lines on the screen, then it's fine again.. then every now and then the entire thing crashes and I get the IRQL not less or equal message and the whole system restarts. This has happened three times in the last 2 months. After the system restarts, I notice it seems to restore the system to an earlier date, where some document and exe files would be missing (if installed after that random earlier restore date, which I did not set).
I tried looking this up and I don't know if it's still a realtek driver issue but I updated my drivers so it's likely not that.
Next, I've used microsoft word for years, on many different laptops and on this one.. For some reason the screen suddenly froze when I was using word and even CRTL+Del did nothing. I had no other choice but to manually turn the computer off and on again. The weirdest part about this is I definitely saved my document continuously while writing, but all my 'save attempts' must have not registered as everything I wrote today was gone (recovered document only went back to the last save conducted 10 hours ago).
Can someone please help me?
