I cant burn a cd using iTunes because I continually get error code 4310. So glad I spent $700 on an Inspiron 17r??? Anyone have a fix for this?

esata port connection with SSD
My question is: I own a Dell Insprion 14R (n4010) and wondering if I can, through the existing esata port, connect a sata III Crucial (CT128M4SSD2) 128GB solid state drive with an appropriate cable. Also, how do I know if my laptop with be compatible with sata III? Thanks for your help. David

USB problem
I own a dell inspiron 15 n5050 laptop , 1.5 yrs old, windows 8 pro is installed in it. Recently I am having some problems with the usb ports. When I start my computer and insert any usb devices( mouse, pen drive, mobile) it doesn't work. Usb mouse make my computer freeze for say 20secs. But if i go to device manager (i can see come exclamation marks on the usb drivers) and uninstall all the usb drivers and scan for hardware changes it reinstalls the usb drivers and start working properly . I don't understand why. I am encountering the problem from last two days. Windows in upgraded to windows 8 nearly two weeks ago.
The problem repeats each time i shut down and start the computer .

Will the BIOS on my laptop work with a Ivy Bridge (3rd Gen) Processor?

i pressed the power on button when it is in sleep mode i didn't get display it remains blank. i removed the battery and again switch on the laptop but iam not getting any thing only power button is on, screen remains blank.

Dell Inspiron 15Z Laptop Has Boot, Backup and Restore Issues
I am having a variety of issues with my Dell Inspiron 15Z Laptop. I initially had the issue where the laptop would not boot into Windows 8. It would merely just stay at the Dell logo screen. That got resolved but now my machine is very slow. I would like to simply restore it back to the original factory settings. I have done this on other Dell machines before with success but it does not seem to work on this one.
It doesn't seem like there is a factory image installed on a partition for this laptop. I tried to use Dell Backup and Restore to create the backup/restore DVDs / backup USB drive. Every time I try this, it fails during the verification process. The error message is simply "An error has occurred." How can I resolve these issues? Is there a way that Dell can send me the 4 DVDs or a USB drive that contains the factory image? Any input/assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Install internal HDD in laptop
My Inspiron 1521's HDD is not working. Computer tells me there is no HDD installed. I took a HDD from another computer, installed it, and am told there is a conflict between the HDD and the OS. It appears to be booting up to Windows 7, then I get a blackscreen asking to either boot normally or attempt a repair. Neither option is working. The original HDD OS is Vista, the one I'm trying to install is Windows 7 Ultimate. Should it be possible to configure this newer HDD to work? Dell N5010. Won't switch on
I have read all the previous posts regarding this, I'm hoping someone might be of help. I recently cleaned and repasted my CPU and GPU, I've done this process many a time. I also cleaned the fan vents etc... However this time when I put my laptop back together, it will not come on at all no boot up on power button, no white light to say charging, nothing. I immediately checked I'd connected everything back together properly, which I had. I then performed the AC and battery test by checking if the AC was faulty but the blue light on the charging adapter stays on when I plug it in and press the power button... However nothing happens, I'm not quite sure what is wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated. ,

Not loading windows/ failure to load Dell Inspiron to startup
Dear friends,
My laptop Inspiron N4010(i5, 4GB, two years old) has a problem.. after switching on my laptop, there was an error with out resuming windows like ' PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM Operating system not found" and after few restarts, now its not switching on and i could see only on screen having loading the power of Dell Inspiron and it can not finish and can't go ahead.. the situation as shown below in figure. This is the same situation even I keep for 2-3hours. F2 and F12 options are visible and selecting but not responding.. for more information I could see power card light indicator on my computer is on and cd/dvd drive is working but not responding.. cd or dvd's are rotating if i insert it. Please tell me if you know the solution.
I would be grateful for your solutions.. thanks in advance.

Inspiron n4020 AC adapter not recognized
My inspiron n4020 started not recognizing AC adapter at start-up, and not charging the battery. I understand, BIOS disables battery charger if it doesn't recognize proper adapter. I replaced the original Dell adapter, but after a few months the same issue emerged. The computer works otherwise fine, just the battery is not charging. I have updated to BIOS A05. No change. Any other BIOS fixes available to so that the battery charger remains functional? Or any other solutions except buying adapters every few months?

Dell Vostro 1400 Problem, Need Help Urgently!!!
Greetings to the team, I have a Dell Vostro 1400, a few days ago, I've installed a certain software, but I might have overloaded the process, and it just stopped still, nothing moved, and after I removed the power source and reboot the computer, it doesn't load Windows, and it didn't even show the loading bar, all I've got is this loading fail error (Windows failed to load), I've tried every option possible: can't access the Recovery CD when I reboot it (This CD is not for this computer!), ran the diagnostics with the Dell DVD that comes with the laptop, and tried reboot in safe mode but never loaded (never shown the startup loading bar), my concern is that all the files in my hard disk drive (C:\) might be gone, and I seriously not thinking of paying to get it fixed, I very much hope that anyone could help me resolve this issue, and do it by myself, please and thanks, it's urgent by the way.

2 Windows on my laptop, how to uninstall one without fomatting

I had Windows 7 professional in my Dell Inspiron 15R laptop and accidently I install again Windows 7 home basic. Now I want to uninstall Windows 7 home basic and wants to o back to previous state of the laptop. Please help me out how to achieve that without formatting my laptop.
