When my laptop go into sleep mode (I have Intel Rapid Start Technology enabled) and wakes up the Intel Management Engine interface stops working (in device manager). I tried setting the Intel Rapid start timer more or less the the sleep time in windows power options setting the same. After restart it works normally. I have Windows 10 with all latest drivers installed. It was the same situation when I had the windows 8.1. Inspiron 14z (5423, Mid 2012)

Worst customer care ever
Hello Sir/Madam,
I purchase a dell monitor on 17th April 2015. and when ask for the support on 27th October 2015 the dell people said that the warranty is applicable from manufacture date and not from purchase date.
This was really bad as we never know why distributor or seller of dell is selling 2013 model into 2015. And that can't be our problem when we have invoice. Its the matter of dell only.
But in spite of this we ask for service as the warranty was still applicable.
The pickup was done by a person on 31st October 2015 who came through bus and doesn't have proper box or other facilities to take the monitor with him. We however manage box and he picked the Monitor.
After 3-4 days when we email dell the reply was it is scheduled for delivery but no date was written so we ask again and again the same reply. on 16th November we call dell support and they told us that they don't have inventory of the same. This is really frustrating and the so called manager Mr. Sudhir whom i talked on 16/11/15 at 11:40 AM Indian time talked so badly.
He told us that it will take another month to courier the Monitor and he also said that due to Dusehera and Diwali the whole delay happen. i ask him that Dusehera was on 22nd October before my complaint and Diwali was on 11th November 2015 way after my complaint then how can that create an issue?
I won't be purchasing dell products again and looking forward to fill a complaint in consumer court for the misbehave and lost of work .

L502X White screen & LCD Connector
Hi
I am user of Dell XPS L502X (It is already out of warranty). yesterday, the screen suddenly went full white when I turned it on. The laptop can still function normally as I can hear the windows sound (the sound that windows gave when it turns on) and also the sounds of some of the applications and mouse clicks as well. I do some online research and it was said that the LCD connector is broken. Do advise me on what I should do. I plan to service only the LCD connector, if that is really the case. How much is the total fee for the LCD Connector repairment usually? Is it really the LCD connector?

SSD Samsung 850 EVO doesn´t work in DELL Precision M4300
Hi i replaced my old HDD (Samsung ) with SSD Samsung 850 EVO (250G) in my notebook. BIOS didn´t recognize SSD. So i upgraded version of BIOS from v. A13 to v. A15. BIOS still don´t recognize SSD disk after upgrade.
can you give me some advice please.

Inspiron 3541 BIOS crash
Hi, I was trying to update the BIOS in my Inspiron 3541, from A00 to A03, after reboot the process stopped 35%, I waited more than hour, and never finished. I unplug adapter and remove battery, now when I try to turn my laptop on, only the power led on for 5 sec, CD try run, screen dark, with no back light. And if I hold END button and plug adupter, without power button, power led on and CD start to.
what I must do?

Alienware 18 - need parts!!
So,
My Laptop is now out of Warranty and my motherboard is broke. I've given it to the local Dell Dealer who carries out all repairs in my location (Qatar, originally from UK). He has informed me that the Part will take a considerable amount of time to source and deliver. Is there any companies that stock and supply parts that I can approach myself. I cant wait a month which has been quoted to me?

Dell Inspiron 15 3537 running on Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit won't boot after a regular shutdown via the start>shut down
Hi to all!
I have a strange problem with my Dell Inspiron 15 3537 running on a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit os.
One day I shutted it down via the regular way:start>shut down and after that when I tried to start it and it wouldn't boot.It showed me black screen and only the power light was on,i tried to start it a few times again but it shutted down or showed black screen,only the power light on and fans working.I somehow managed to boot it and made a format and reinstalled the win thinking that the problem is caused by a virus.It worked well for a few hours then I decided to shut it down,again via the start >shut down and when I tried to start it later the same problem again!Then I somehow managed to start it but this time I got bsod:error stop 0x0000001E and it shutted down for 2 or 3 times.Then I connected it to a LG LCD TV via HDMI and it booted without problem!I ran dell hardware diagnostics tests from the dell support site which lasted for 8 hours.The laptop worked fine and it passed all the hardware tests.After that I ran dell hardware diagnostics tests from the bios and the results were ok!The hardware passed all of the tests.Finally I did a startup repair with the Win 7 installation dvd and the repair showed me this : The following startup option will be repaired name: Windows boot manager and etc. and :The following startup options will be added:Windows recovery enviroment etc. After that repair I decided to shut down the laptop via the same way:start>shut down, and when I tried to start it the same problem!Black screen with only power light on and sound of working fans or shutting down for a several time.What should I do know?Please help me!Any help would be appreciated! I discovered something new ! The laptop turns on and boots after I make a hard reset (pressing and holding the power button for 60 seconds,before I connect it to the laptop adapter or put the battery on) ! It doesn't need the LG tv!
What do you think this means to be?

We are many who would like to purchase the new Dell XPS 15 laptops. HOWEVER, we do not like the limited customization options compared to the US. E.g., why do I have to pay for the 4K touch screen if I don't want it? We want the top model, but without the 4K screen and the small battery.

Stuck at dell logo on dell n4110
<body> I have problem on dell n4110 stuck at logo when turn on. And cant open boot menu by f12.but i can use f2 to bios settings . i see only Removable Drive in Boot tab so i think i lost any boot type such as cd sata usb . when i save bios setting i get error message <b> Failed to save storage: BOOT_MENU_BOOT_ITEMS. Status: 0xF </b> .i try to fix it by flash new bios but i cant boot any usb(legency mode) drive because, it stuck at dell logo . what should i do. I need help. How to change Function key behavior without go to bios setting?
My Fn key is damaged and its behavior is now as multimedia key.
I can't use Fn key. I can't use F2 and F12 key during boot for enter bios menu.
Now in my mobility center there's no Function key setting availabe. ( In mobility window there is only main 6 options availabe but no 'customized by dell' > fumction key setting..
Now I am stuck..
Any suggestion?

Latitude E5510 display
The display on my Latitude E5510 is malfunctioning, all I can see is a pink smudge with vertical, black lines.
Before I buy a new LCD and cable I wanted to be sure it's not the connector on the motherboard, though.
There are no beeping sounds during the boot process. Windows starts up fine (I can still hear it) and the external output is working.
Judging by that, is there any way to tell whether it's indeed just the LCD?

Can I install Kingston RAM for Lenovo into E7450?
Hi. I've been given Kingston KTL-TP3CL/8G ram and want to know whether I can install it into my Latitude E7450.
The RAM is labeled for a Lenovo laptop.
If it will work, must I REPLACE the factory installed 4gb RAM, or can I ADD it for a total of 12gb RAM?
