Hi all,
I would like to use the AMT/V-pro tecnology on my brand new latitude e7520.
But I can't access the Mebx menu neither with CTRL-P (nothing happens) nor with F12 (no mebx section).
In the system BIOS menu, the mebx hotkey is flagged, and the num lock is disabled.
I tried also with the latest BIOS, without any luck.
Any hints?

Dell Inspirion N5050 Wont Boot + 5 Constant Beeps
My laptop randomly started beeping after powering it up. Its a consistent 5 beep loop and would carry out until the laptop fully started up. However, after a couple days, my laptop gave up and would not boot anymore. The 5 beeps are still present, and im not sure what to do now.

Wifi AC internal card for L702x
I need to know what internal AC wifi cards will be compatible with a Dell L702x and will work with most routers (backwards compatibility) I have tried the Dlink USB cards that do work, however, they disable the internal WIFI cards until they are uninstalled (you cannot have both in the machine at once. I would like to do a once-and-for-all upgrade to the system but I need to know which one(s) is/are compatible.

E5550 boot to utility partition?
Can anyone tell me if/how I can boot to the utility partition on an E5550 laptop? I can do this on my desktop by pressing F12 on boot and selecting "boot to utility partition", but the option isn't there on the laptop. Cheers.

Dell Inspiron 5721 - Graphics Card Installation/Improvement
Hello, I'm looking to install a new graphics card into my laptop - a Dell Inspiron 5721. It was a gift to me, and I use it for gaming as well as school/office-related purposes.
I don't know a large amount about this computer specifically, all I know is that I need a better graphics card besides the stock card that is installed (I do not have the model with the AMD Radeon).
If anyone could point me towards a good product to purchase, or simply where to look, that would be great!

Power Companion PW7015L Faulty
I have a problem with a PW7015L, it was purchased in May this year and worked fine until last week.
I have contacted Dell Customer Services in the UK 6 times now by phone and have been told that they will contact me by e-mail to help resolve the issue as I currently travelling, but after a week I still have received no e-mail and no support for my problem.
I use the Dell charger supplied with my Inspiron 13 7347 to charge the PW7015L, the LEDs indicate a full charge but when either the laptop or a USB device is connected for charging the LEDs indicate that it is not charged.
The CS seem to have no knowledge that the PW7015L exists and can offer no support as there is no service tag.
My legal rights under UK law are to have it replaced FOC but nobody seems to be able to authorise this or no anything about what to do or who to contact within the Dell organisation

Dell Inspiron 7537 (2013) Random Reboot
Hi everyone,
I am an happy Italian owner of a Dell Inspiron 7537 from November 2013. It's awesome. Snappy, light, good screen and excellent battery life. I had always run Windows 8.1 since Windows 10 came out last July/August. So i made the upgrade and the first problems arise.
Randomly if I shut down the computer (via software) or put it to sleep by closing the lid it just reboot itself giving me only a black screen with any possibilities to interact with. I usually take a bicycle ride to come back home after work and every time I arrived home i find out that the fan is spinning loud and that the laptop is on, so i open the lid but the screen is completely off and no keyboard keys or touchpad actually works.
During the past months i realize that it happens only when I get the bike ride, so when i lift it up from my workbench and put it in the bagpack. It is possible that is the "free fall sensor" (maybe non properly configured) sees the acceleration and the "wrong" orientation of the laptop and, for whatever reason, boots the laptop on?
So I perform several clean installation of Win 10 but the problem is still there.
It is a common problem due to Windows 10? Am i alone?

Inspiron 13 7352 - 7 beep at startup!!
Please I need some help, I bought a laptop 2 months ago and suddenly stopped working, then I tried to reboot and went automatically to BIOS screen to make some testings... after that reboot again and never again started.... And now each time I try to startup a BLOCK SCREEN APPEARS and 7 BEEPS SOUNDS (it is actually a "beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep" code)... and nothing else happens... doesn't starts.
PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME...?? ANY ADVICE??

i am a college freshman and i have a loft bed (about 5 feet off the ground) and well, i dropped it. is that something that is covered by my warranty and can a DELL Rep come replace it? or do i need to buy a new screen and have someone replace it? Help!!

Dell Inspirion laptop...
I cracked my screen awhle bck so Ive been using a desktop monitor,but thts not the problem.When I turn on my computer it goes to the Dell screen and the little bar fills up,then it goes to a pink screen with a loading symbol.If I hit Ctrl,Alt,Delete,it will take me to the blue Windows screen,and it shows the Internet symbol,the Ease of Access symbol,and the shutdown and restart symbol.When I do F12 it wont show up on the monitor.Please help I have over 13yrs worth of my kids memories on it,and nowhere else.

Dell 7352 Hardware Questions

It's been about a month I've had my Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 Special Edition and I just recent got a Dell active pen for it. To be honest, I was pretty happy with the laptop before I got my pen, but now I am kind of disappointed at the tablet mode features.
One of the main problems is required proximity of the pen tip to be to the screen for it to detect it. It is about a millimeter or so. In fact, even when laying the pen flat on the screen the pen tip is not detected. Is this a problem with my specific computer or pen, or is this an issue that hopefully a newer pen driver can fix, or is this an issue that can't be fixed at all?
Finally, one other question regarding the tablet functionality. When folding the screen back I was disappointed to find that the trackpad and keyboard are only disabled when the screen is fully folded back and not just when it is past 180 degrees. I thought this was a hardware issue that couldn't be fixed, but I just got Windows 10 and when folding my screen back it automatically switched into Windows 10 tablet mode once it was past 180 degrees. Is there a way I can automatically set my trackpad and keyboard to disable when in Windows 10 tablet mode or (ideally) is there a way to disable it whenever the screen is past 180 degrees such as through an updated driver or something?

Intel Rapid Storage Technology persistent warning
Hi, I'm not sure what to do about a warning mark I have on my Intel rapid storage technology icon, when I click on it, I can see the caution symbol but I'm not sure how to fix it, and the help function has been unhelpful. On the previous windows version I remember it being a cache error but on windows 10 I can't seem to get the exact error up so that I can tell you. If I click on the icon it takes me to Current Status, where the exclamation mark sits at SATA disk. I'm not great with computers, so pls be kind!

Studio 1555 Problems with touch pad after upgrading to Windows 10
I Upgraded to Windows 10 over a week ago. This laptop works great in Windows 10 except that the Dell Touch Pad does not working properly. The Dell Touch Pad Icon is on the Taskbar, but does not respond to clicking, and the software does not work, and the scrolling feature on the Touch Pad does not work correctly, and not at all in the new Edge browser. Works better in IE and Firefox. I noticed the Touch Pad software has not been updated since the laptop was released.
This is still a good laptop I don't understand why there is not an updated driver for this.

I too, am having issues with a stuck stylus on my Inspiron, 13 7000 series 2 in 1. I just got this computer today, and I am not able to remove the stylus from the computer. It pushes in slightly, but I a unable to remove it.

BUGS - Taskbar doesn't update
My laptop is open box Dell Inspiron 7558 - windows 8 - a month old. Here are some of the problems of my laptop:
- The taskbar doesn't update time and date automatically, the icons stay even the apps are closed (ended task in Task Manager). Also, the icons can not be selected and apps don't show up.
- Startup menu doesn't show up whenever I press the Windows key. It only appears at the beginning when I hit the power button. Besides, when I press the Windows key, seems like the taskbar is "refreshed", the time is update and the icons are working but immediately frozen after 2-3 seconds.
- If I open more than one window of an app (Chrome, Microsoft Word, File), neither of them shows up.
In short, the taskbar has been useless for a few days as I had to use Keyboard to open, switch tabs and shut down the laptop.
Help needed !!!

Laptop strange light is on
Inspiron 6400. Between the button for Media Direct and Power button are several symbols, (where the wi-fi symbol is, which is on). The numeral "9" is lit up (green). The "9" is in a tiny box with what looks like a curved handle on top. It is glowing green. Why is it lit up? What does it mean? (I'll bet the answer is so simple I'll really feel stupid)

Touch Fingeprint Reader M4700 Windows 10 can not register fingerprint
Hello everybody!
I recently upgraded my M4700 to Windows 10. After the upgrade, I was able to correctly log on using my fingerprint without any problems. However, since the system itself was rather unstable, I decided to to a clean install of Windows 10.
After the installation, all devices were correctly discovered, including the fingerprint reader. However, I was not able to register any fingerprints. On the fingerprint registration dialog the system simply did nothing, i.e. did not seem to recognize that there is a finger on the reader.
After restoring the backup to the original, upgraded version, login is possible again, but here I am also not able to register new fingerprints.
As the support page states the system can safely be upgraded to Windows 10, this is quite unsatisfactory.
Dell support hotline only told me that I have to wait until a driver is provided...
Has anybody similar experiences or a solution for this?
