Bluetooth Not Working Even After Latest Updates
I have a Latitude E-5500 that I used a 3rd Party, BUT MS Certified, driver update to update all of my drivers. Also, there were some drivers that were more up to date than the ones that were on the Dell site. It tried to update, and install the Bluetooth driver but for whatever reason, never could. What's the problem?

inspiron 13z touch, error code: 2000-0511
hi,
dell inspiron 13z touch, just run diagnostics and got this error 2000-0511. the cpu fan is not working. laptop is slow. bios: A07 . does this mean the cpu fan is done? just have the laptop one week. unbelieveable :( . there is no way to try fix it? only return it?

Dell XPS15 9530 touchpad
The touchpad on my XPS15 9530--mid-2015 version is giving me problems. Sometimes when I left click, the mouse pointer ends up jumping towards the bottom of my screen. It must be due to me clicking in the wrong spot on the touchpad and I haven't been able to replicate the problem. It gets to be very frustrating. Please help.

I can't get the drivers I need because of DellSystemDetect
I bought a Dell Latitude E4310 that did not have any of the drivers needed to connect to the internet so I tried downloading them with my other laptop which is a Sony Vaio. It won't let me though because of DellSystemDetect. How can I download the drivers for a computer that can't connect to the internet?

My laptop won't run on Battery Power.
I have a Dell Insprion 17R SE 7720, and I noticed a problem with it several months ago, that the computer would not run on battery power, if I disconnected the AC adapter, it would shut down. I thought it was a battery problem, so recently I bought another battery, and it still won't run on battery power. I started to investigate, it does say on the bottom right hand corner of display, that there is 47% available battery life left, and it says this as well, (plugged in, not charging).
I also noticed, the battery light on laptop hardware, blinking orange 4-5 times, and then one white blink. The AC adapter seems to be working fine, I changed out AC adapters, and they both still powered on the laptop, but won't charge the battery. I updated drivers, and BIOS as well, still nothing is working.

8 beeps when starting
Hi,
I had bought a dell laptop almost 1.5 years ago. Till now it was working good, suddenly yesterday night when i tried to start, i started beeping, i had counted the beeps and they were 8 times. I checked it on google about the solutions, i tried 1 solution also which was like, when starting press power + D key. It will show the color screen. It was showing the colored screen but again after showing 3-4 colored screens it again started beeping. Please tell me what should i do. I think i had extended the warranty also at the time of buying. please help its very urgent.

8 beeps when starting

Interesting charger problem
Hi everyone,
I recently got a Dell 15-5558 laptop and have noticed something weird happening which seems to be caused by the transformer on the charger. I quite often watch Netflix on my PS3 and I've noticed that when I nudge the transformer it causes the signal from the PS3 to cut out for a second and then it returns. The transformer is about 3m away from the PS3. Anyone got any idea what's going on?

Monitor is on but displaying all black
Hello,
I turned my Inspiron on and the monitor turned on but it is simply displaying a black screen - there is absolutely no text or images. This is from the moment that it is started up. I do not see any of the bios or Dell imagery that usually appears.
I was able to get a few glimpses/flickers of the screen when I went to close the top - it flashed to a screen that could be seen but then quickly returned to being black.

How to use recovery discs in a new hard drive
I hope this is in the right section as it could possibly go in several other sections. The hard drive died on my wife's Inspiron N7010 and I'm going to replace it. She made recovery discs when she first got the computer. How do I use the discs to reinstall the operating system? I've done a reinstall with regular system install and driver discs, but never done a reinstall from recovery discs. I would assume it's the same, but I want to be sure before I mess things up. UEFI boot currently broken on Inspiron 15 5558
Just reporting in that UEFI boot is currently broken on this laptop as of the latest BIOS (A03). The laptop will not boot from a Windows 10 flash drive or Windows 10 installed to an SSD unless Secure Boot is disabled and legacy boot is enabled. Is this a known issue? If so is there an ETA on the fix?

Connecting directly to the network with a cable
Does anyone know if it is possible to connect directly to a network (RJ-45 connector), perhaps using a docking station? I will be using the laptop in a place that has no Wi-Fi but does have direct connect to the internet.
The laptop is a: Inspiron 13" 7000 series 2 in 1 7348 running Windows 10

Lights flashing on laptop
I have a dell inspiron 15 7000 series. When i try powering the laptop the first light to the left of the laptop is solid and the second one is flashing light. Can anyone provide advice on what may be wrong before i consider sending for repairs? Assistance is greatly appreciated.
