I have been using Win 10 for about a month now. Since Sunday night I belieThis issue has been hapenning since this week when I updated to A13 BIOS from dell's website. I believe its the chipset driver update that caused it.
I have tried:
- tweaking power options and selecting what power button does, it doesn't work, fan still running after shutdown
- reverted back to A12 bios, doesn't work, fan still running
- Uninstalled the 3 Intel drivers from control panel (as suggested on this forum by others).... doesn't work on mine.
This is not due to Win 10 because it was all fine for 3 weeks on Win 10. It is because, I believe, it happened after I updated the Bios to A13 and also the chipset driver on Dell's website using auto detect.
Can someone help me? I feel so helpless. I have been wasting my entire 2 days on forums and still there's little hope. My fan has been running for too long. Every night I work with 100% charge and in the morning it's down to 0.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
