I own a dell N5110 ... the issue is tho its showing 1% plugged in,charging ... it isnt actually charging . Im using PA-10 family adapter . i tried reinstalling compliant control method battery but no luck .It would be grateful if you help me out .!!! :)

My laptop is an Inspiron 7737 running Windows 8.1 with DELL BIOS A4.
Updating BIOS to version A13 has not been possible from a Windows environment.
I''ve set up a bootable USB key using RUFUS 2.2 but the key is not recognized by UEFI and Windows just boots regularly.
Boot priority has been directed to USB storage, removable drive and DVD ... but still doesn't work.
Even using Advanced Booting, use this device and selecting each option alternatively (multiple attempts) resulted in the same Windows regular boot.
Tried booting by rapidly pressing F2, F12, Fn+F2, Fn+F12 etc... has no effect. Anyone else with the same problem? Did you find a solution?
On the bright side, I am able to boot from the same key when installed with the Windows Media Creator for Windows10 so it shows that the key is bootable.
Has anyone been able to boot from a USB key and update their drivers from BIOS / UEFI? If yes, which application did you use to set up the USB key?

i just upgrade my laptop ( Inspiron 15R N5110 ) to windows 10 .
just after the upgrade i am getting blue screen all the time so i want to reinstall windows 7 but i dont have the windows 7 home premium CD .
can someone please give me a link to the file soi can burn it on cd in order revive me laptop

I tried upgrading my laptop to windows 10 but after reloading withing 15 secs I am getting an error message about internal power failure. Googling the issue, points out other owners are facing the same issue when upgrading to Win10. And it is due to AMD Graphics Driver.
Any solutions ?

I'm having issue with my keyboard, long before, my laptop's keyboards are ok, but then suddenly the number keys started to have issues, numbers except 5 and 6 were sometimes not functioning. Sometimes I need to press many times or press long for it to get it work, whenever I power it up, it always comes to this issue, I already contact Dell about it, and able to send my laptop to them for warranty, and they only did was reseat the keyboard connection.Still, my keyboard had issues, the same issues as before. I don't know how they diagnose this, but it didn't help.

Recently my dell studio 1558, got shut down automatically, when i booted up, It looked like that in safe mode, with big-big icons and got an error message saying " Please install ATI Graphics card driver",
I tried installing new driver software from Dell site as well as from AMD website, but both were unsuccessful, installation halted with error message " Graphics hardware not found"
I tried to downgrade BIOS as my laptop's current version is A12, but that too was unsuccessful, got an error saying " You already have a newer version and it can't be downgraded"
I ran Boot time,Diagnostics test and Display test got following Beep patterns/Error codes
Err code : 0152
Err code: 0334
Please help me troubleshoot, is it Graphics card problem or cable problem or Motherboard problem.?

i recently formated my dell xps 17 l702x.
After the installation of the windows 7, Device manager did not recognize the Wifi / Ethernet / Sound/ Monitor etc. controllers. I downloaded basic drivers, from the dell Product Support site, suitable for my system. Now everything seem to work ok.
My only problem is that Divice manager keep not regognising a divice (divice manager refers to it as a unknown divice). I have no idea what that divice could be or how to find its driver.
Moreover how can I check that my system is workink fine and every neccesery driver is installed on?

Since a month or 2 I own a 7350 2in1. Like the machine but every now and then I have difficulties turning it on. While docked I press the power button nothing happens, press it a bit longer nothing. Unplug power from dock and put it back in sometimes fixes it or removing the screen and putting it back works. All in all a bit of a hit and miss re how to fix it.
I bought a USB 3 Ethernet dongle (realtek chipset) for my 7350. Getting this to work / keeping this working is a pain. I can plug it in and starts working straightaway or I plug it in and get a Windws message that the USB device was not recognised last time, I have tried pluging it in before turning on the laptop but again that sometimes works an sometimes it doesn't.
Had this issue on W8.1 and was kinda hoping W10 would fix this but to no avail.

I have the the above inspiron one 2320 and as I don't have the money for a brand new system I am looking at upgrades. I have already gone from 6gb ram to 8gb and now looking at the wireless card but before I buy I need to know if the bios blocks new/unknown hardware or will the new work fine.

I cant install drivers to my radeon video card.When i used dell's autodetect program for drivers it found my radeon card but it ask me to install drivers manually and when i try to install catalyst to my computer the instalation stops for unknown reason.Moreover if i try to find radeon card on device manager it doesnt show up and it appears on intel hd graph
After about 4 years of using the same laptop and the power adapter that came with it, I started to get the following "Dell Feature Enhancement Pack" message pop up when I plug in my laptop...
"The power adapter attached to your notebook is not recognized. Please insert a 65 watt Dell approved power adapter"
As a result, my battery is not draining when plugged in, but it is also not charging. Is my only option to buy a new power adapter? Or is it something more along the lines of "might as well buy a new laptop"?
Any advice/help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In my Inspiron 15 (3537), even after shutdown the power status LED light and wireless LED light keeps glowing on. Only after long pressing the Power button the lights go off.
Even after unplugging from the A.C. main the light remains.
Please let me know how to solve this problem.

I have a Dell WM615 Bluetooth mouse. It was working well but then stopped scrolling, i.e., nothing happens when I move my finger along the scroll strip. The keys still work fine. I've tried the scrolling in various programs and it doesn't work in any of them. I have a Dell XPS 15 and the Dell Update software says that the system is up to date.
Any suggestions?

So I was asked if I could look at a laptop for a friend. She said her windows doesn't start. Well it does less than that. I used another machine to look at the hdd (which is apparently not the original this one was manufactured in 2013) the drive doesn't even tell me the size from inside windows. It's only option available is to format.
The recovery partition is still present.
So I thought I would try to format and reinstall windows. Cannot access the advanced boot options access the recovery partition. The back panel has no stickers so i have no idea what was on it, no product key to install fresh windows, and no service tag to be able to get media from dell.
I found out the laptop was a donation from the local bank to her after her house burned down and am thinking that's why the stickers have been removed.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
