I am facing a problem with my Dell XPS 15 9530 laptop around 3-4 months back. Please help.

Every time my laptop goes to sleep, it does not resume automatically when directed to.

I have to turn on the laptop using the power button and then I get a message saying that "Windows did not Shutdown Cleanly"

This happens every time the laptop goes to sleep either automatically or when turned to sleep manually.

I am wondering if anyone can help advise. I have become an owner of Dell XPS 15 ( i7 2,2, Nvidia GT540)

Machine worked like a charm for number of months until now. It will work normal for the first 30 minutes while browsing or while browsing watching videos after 30 minutes it will freeze and it will freeze for good. The active window will suddenly turn into not responding mode and he only way will be to do the hard reset, No problems with overheating noticed. I have reinstalled windows checked for drivers all up to date according to auto detect.

Any advice will be much apperciated

Hi, my name is Erik. I'm looking to buy an m3800. I am currently deciding between the 61 Whr and 91Whr battery. Because the 91 Whr battery takes up the space for a standard 2.5 inch HDD or SDD, only an mSATA SSD is left inside the laptop. For someone who has experience with the computer, is giving up this disk space worth the extra battery life? mSATA SSD's are expensive, and my only other option for more space would be an external HDD which are slow for editing video and such.

My fan is always maxing out so I installed SpeedFan to see the CPU temp.  The temp will go from 48c idle to 59c or higher if I just watch a YouTube video.  Once the temp exceeds 52c the fan maxes out.  That seems excessive and I wonder if the heat sink isn't installed right.  Does anyone else have average CPU temp stats for a 7347?

So i had to do a refresh of windows 8.1(64bit) and after i finished the refresh my Bluetooth has disappeared i have installed the drivers from the dell website and it has not come back. i have no Bluetooth items in the device manager and there was a qualcomm atheros buss in the device manager but it to has now disappeared i need bluetooth to run robots for a summer camp so help would be appreciated

Recently the screen stopped rotating when I put the laptop into tablet mode. I had to reinstall windows before due to trackpad issues but the rotation function worked fine afterwards until one day I noticed that it didn't work when I tried to rotate. I have tried to reinstall drivers and play around in the device managed but I have had no success. I hope someone can assist me on this.

I have a Lattiude E7440 running Win 8.1. When I check the drivers the same three are downloaded and installed. After restarting I check again and they are again downloaded and installed. The drivers are:

Hey. I have a Dell Latitude E6520. I spilled water on it, but it suffered no other apparent issues. 

However, I can't adjust the brightness using the Fn+arrow key shortcut. The Fn key works fine otherwise (such as in PrntScrn) and so do the arrow keys, but the shortcut doesn't work any more.

I can adjust the brightness by battery icon>adjust screen brightness, but I need to adjust the brightness often, so please help.

one more in system configuration (Windows+R -->msconfig)- in general tab, i have been selecting normal start up and when i restarting it is changing to selective startup. what needs to be done to resolve?? 

I have been using my Dell Inspiron Laptop N4010 for a couple of years now. After I made an update of my display driver I often get an error message saying

"DISPLAY DRIVER AMD DRIVER STOPPED RESPONDING AND HAS SUCCESSFULLY RECOVERED"

But before it prompts me the message above there's this sudden black screen which last less than a second. I don't know if I would have to degrade the update I did.
Worst is sometimes the display on the screen freezes and sometimes just a total black screen which I have to shutdown my laptop forcibly.

My dell latitude E6320 suddenly freezes when i'm in battery mode. when I'm not using it for like 5 or 10 minutes, it suddenly freezes, but, when the charger and the battery is plugged in, it does not freeze. Please Help Me.

Hard drive crashed. No longer have original recovery disks. Replaced drive and had to run Linux Mint because I can't get find a replacement recovery disk, and I now LOVE Linux and very happy with it, but finding that I still need to run Windows for a few apps that I spent lots of money on and can't get to run in Linux. 

Is there any way to get a recovery disk for the E6420 so I can then reinstall Win7 and then dual-boot? I see some places out there that sell the recovery disk, but don't know if they're reputable and if it will work. My other option seems to be to pay full price again for an OEM rebuilder's version for $70.

Also, would obviously like to get it free (or cheaper than $70) if possible! :-) 

Tried downloading directly from MS, but after entering my key, it tells me I have to contact the manufacturer. And cannot find a way to download anywhere on the Dell site.

Any advice or tips? It will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Help! I am desperately trying to connect my new bluetooth headset with my Dell Latitude E5450. 

Here's what you need to know in order to hopefully help me:

-Bought a generic bluetooth headset from amazon in order to make VOIP calls as well as hands free calls from my iPhone.  

Jumbl BH21 Over the Head Bluetooth Wireless Headset for Cell Phones 4x Noise Cancelling

-Running on Windows 7, 64 bit

-Love the headset...works great with my iPhone, but now I can't connect it to my bluetooth enabled Dell. I am able to pair the devices...and the they find each other okay...the problem is it is unusable because my computer can't find a driver for it.

-Went to Jumbl's company site (manufacturer) and there is no info about drivers...or info on package.

-Amazon community, no one has any info that can help me

-I would just return it and replace it with a different bluetooth headset but I've been hearing, as I've been searching for a solution, that this is a big issue with many bluetooth headsets. So I don't want to return it only to find out I'm going to have the same issue with another headset.

-This is a very specific headset (not just a little bluetooth ear piece). It's over the head with a boom mic so when I do client demo's over VOIP and Gotomeeting they can hear me.

-I've searched endless boards and tried various methods of downloading generic drivers, etc. and still can't get it to work.

So does anyone know where I can get a driver for a very generic headset? If there is absolutely no way to find a driver that works for it (and since there isn't one on the manufacturers website) I am willing to buy a different one, but just need suggestions of one that pairs with my Dell.

I've had my dell for 7 months. Worked fine one day, next day nothing. Would not power on with using battery or AC adapter. Tried removing battery and holding power button for 5 seconds(static discharge) Upon powering up after using this method, a strong burnt smell was noted coming from the laptop followed by a single loud beeping noise that continued until the laptop was shut down. Any suggestions on what to do next?

I have a question, and an issue I believe worth mentioning. The simple one is, I have Killer Network Manager with no in-app updates; is Killer suite the new version?

Secondly, when I am updating drivers via Dells utility software, I receive 2 updates:

-Chipset |Intel Management Engine Interface Driver

-Chipset |Intel Lynx Point HM87 Driver 

The utility downloaded and applied the driver; I re-checked for any additional drivers afterwards, and these 2 continue to show up. Is there any solution to that?

I already put the HDD in the optical bay and an SSD in the main hard drive bay but I am running out of room so instead of upgrading either of those I am going to upgrade the little 32gb mSATA to a 500gb one but before I do I want to make sure it is worth it.  I looked up the chipset and it supports two SATA III ports but I don't know if the other III goes to the mSATA of optical bay.  I don't know why they would wire up the optical drive with a SATA III speeds but I want to make sure.
