Respected Sir,
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits but when I try to take backup following error message was displayed:
The backup application could not start due to an internal error:

The service cannot be started,either because it is disabled or because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.(0x80070422).

Block Level Backup Engine Service also be not running when I try to run this service manually following error message was displayed :

Windows could not start the Block Level Backup Engine Service service on Local Computer.
Error 0x800700b7: Cannot create a file when that file already exits.

I already reinstall the operating system, run under safe mode and clean boot by using msconfig, run scf/scannow under command prompt but the problem not solved.Provide me solution for this.

I was looking to buy a new alienware m17x and before there was a screen option to upgrade the screen, now I went to buy it and that option isn't there anymore. please tell me this option is coming back, because that was a huge selling point to me...

My Vostro 3450 started to present a wierd problem, that happens sporadically, about 2x a month. The whole system freezes, and the screen starts flickering like crazy, identical to this video posted in youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjqMH7u_0cg

When this happens, I lost everything I was doing at that moment. I have to force the shutdown pressing the power button for some seconds and restart.

Bios is up to date (A13), all drivers are updated. Pre-boot diagnostics pass with no errors. Complete memtest passes with no problem. I'm using Windows 7 64bits.

Any idea on what is going on?

Hi,

i recently just bought a new laptop Dell Inspiron 15R 5521,was thinking want to downgrade to Windows 7 32 bit due to my old 16 bit software can not install in 64 bit operation system, is this possible to downgrade? 

Did Dell got software to support the hardware in Windows 7 32 bit?

I have a Dell XPS 15 running Windows 7 SP1. About a week or two ago, the laptop started taking a lot of time to go from login screen to home sceen. It would show a black screen with a movable cursor meanwhile before loading the desktop. I could fasten the process but restarting explorer.exe from the task manager. But now restarting explorer.exe doesn't solve the problem and even task manager gets unresponsive. When I could start it by restarting explorer.exe, many applications like my antivirus, audio manager, etc would not start like they're supposed to. When I boot it in safe mode, I can login just fine. The problem remains when I try to boot it normally. Running diagnostics gives error in hard drive DST Short test (ERROR CODE: 0146) Please help!

Help! I just downloaded and installed numerous driver updates from Dell.com for my laptop (1764), and now my D drive/partition has disappeared.  When I run Windows Explorer, I can only see the C drive.  How can I get access back to my D drive/partition WITHOUT LOSING ALL MY DATA on the D drive/partition?

I have a Dell XPS 13 less than 6 months old.  This is one of the 720p, i7, Windows8 machines.

When I tried to power it on this morning, the dell logo flashed for about a quarter-second, then the screen went grey.  No response.
I can repeat this at will.

If I press [CTRL+ALT+DEL], I see the logo and a scrolling progress bar at the bottom of the screen.  Then I get a grey screen and nothing.

Ideas?

I am having an issue with my Windows 8 Laptop. When I try to turn the computer, 1 of two things will happen. Either it will come up with the Dell logo, then a black screen and stay black. Or, it will show the Dell logo then show a screen stating Internal Hard Drive Disk not found. Every once in a while, it will allow me to access my start screen and desktop for around 15 minutes. Then all processes will pause, then proceeding to show a blue screen with Your PC has encountered an error and needs to restart. It then restarts and does one of the earlier problems. If anyone can help me please do.

Hello my laptop recently just started shutting down without any notice. I believe it is the processor fan that isn't working anymore. Whenever i play games or anything that requires a lot of computer usage it shuts down within the first 5-10 minutes, otherwise it will shut down after about 20 minutes. Help please!!!

The touchpad on my Inspiron 15z freezes-up a few times a day; the cursor suddenly won't respond and buttons stop working. Restarting the machine usually fixes the problem, until the next time...

Any ideas?

I have a m90 laptop with a nvidia fx 1500 graphics board. If I understand correctly the nvidia fx 3500 will work also.

I want to use dual monitors on this system, is there a driver that supports dual monitor

I'm hoping to get a few more years out of this system.

Is there a new driver available for the N5020 Web Cam compatible with Windows 8

I own a Dell Inspiron 1300 running the default OS of Windows XP. My laptop is taking much longer to boot, Avast Free Security refuses to work and I am having severe performance issues. When I log on, I get an error window declaring that I need to reinstall TraceAPI.DLL. I have looked online but I found nothing relevant. How would I go about  finding a copy of this and fixing my laptop? I can get a screenshot of the error window if needed.

I bought a 14R for my son on 2010-10-30 from Best Buy.  Within the one year warranty the hard drive had to be replaced.  It then ran fan until early this year (2013) when the hard drive failed.  I bought a smaller capacity drive so I cannot use the disk images Best Buy created.  The Windows 7 license key on the bottom of the laptop is VERY worn so I cannot make out the entire key.  With the service tag is there anyway through Dell.com that I can obtain the key?

Hi there!

I had some problems with wifi @ hotel i am living atm(Chrome didnt asks for pass,but keep telling me it couldnt connect to the DNS server etc.-while everything was fine from my xperia p),so i tried to uninstall the wlan driver and wanted to reinstall. But theres the problem,i dont know which driver i need to install. Tried a few,no success yet. What should i do?

Hello i have an Dell Inspiron N5110 i7 2.20 Ghz with 4 GB Ram and i have the Windows 7 Home Premium. The problem is on startup before welcome and after the windows logo for about 20 seconds have black screen with the mouse pointer on the center. Also i saw on msconfig on startup and only the intel Corporation is marked.   

What can i do????Any ideas??? Please help!!!!
