Hey all , i'v being trying to find the driver for this for like month now , please help me if anyone know the correct driver .. , i have tried so many driver and failed , some even appeared as the correct driver in my device manager but didn't work , when i go to turn on my wireless devices only WIFI is there, its really annoying , really appreciate if anyone can help.. [*-)]

Need new hard drive for dell inspiron 1545????
Dell inspiron 1545
Upon pressing the start button-get the message:
Internalt for multi-core processors will be disabled.
No bootable devices -- strike F1 to retry boot. F2 for setup utility. Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics.
Ran diagnostic and got the:
Message error code 2000 -- 0145 message hard drive zero -- self test did not complete the given error code and Do you want to continue--- I indicated yes I want to run the remaining memory tests
upon running the remaining memory tests –got the following: Pre boot system assessment complete. No diagnostic utility partition identified. Please select OK to reboot
A few days later: got the windows 7 instal disc. Using startup repair to check system for problems—start up repair diagnosis and repair log—session details 1 system disk-device\harddisk0 windows directory= autochkrun=0 number of root causes =1 name:disk metadata test result completelyed successfully. Drror code = 0x0 root cause found: MBR is corrupt repair action: disk metadata repair Result:FGao;ed. Error code = 0x45d
Also under system information got : Primary hard drive = none
Any help is appreciated. My daughters computer and would hate to buy a new hard drive and a transfer cable if that won't fix the problem.

same here - i7 touchscreen / qhd+
fan noise is unacceptable. kicks on/off intermittently . sometime the sound is just a loud "normal" fan noise, which is bad but perhaps is acceptable. Often it's a more noisy sound.
called and after an hour of going through diagnostics etc, (that's why i hesitated to call) they said they'd send a technician with a new fan and heat sink. i will post after that replacement to see if maybe newer components will help.
also my headphone jack does not work.
gotta go back to buying refurbs!

Dell Inspiron 17r N7110 Freezing and Making Noises
I have a faulty hard drive but we've known about for over two years and it's never really been an issue until now. Here are the problems I'm experiencing:
- The entire computer will freeze up for a second or two over and over again, causing the audio to make an awful buzzing noise if anything is playing. This happens even if there is no audio playing, however. I know this because I draw on my computer and it will repeatedly freeze during that as well.
- Sometimes it will make the USB connect/disconnect noises every few seconds and won't stop unless restart the computer. (There's never anything plugged in when this happens)
- It's only happened about 4 times, but a black box titled 'taskeng.exe' will pop up.
I use a Dell Inspiron N7110 and have scanned with malwarebytes and trend micro titanium, so I have no viruses. Is there anything I can do to help stop these issues without getting a whole new hard drive?

Alienware 17 (Mid 2013) compatible CPU upgrades
I have an alienware 17 laptop that I bought in mid 2013. I have been learning more about computers and comparing my laptop to other laptop models (including the newest alienware 17) and I have come to realize that my CPU is what is truly holding back performance on my laptop. I currently have and Intel Core i7-4700MQ CPU @2.4GHZ that is single core. I want to upgrade to a dual or even a quad core processor. At the same time, I don't want to get something that isn't supported by dell or might mess up something in my computer. Does anybody know what CPU's are compatible with my computer?
On another note, can someone please tell me if there is a more official name than the alienware 17. Whenever I try to search for compatible parts it comes up with m17x, m17x r2 m17x r3 or m17x r4 but not alienware 17 and I don't know which one the mid 2013 version is if it is any of them.

Regarding HDD password in my DELL INSPIRON N5010 15R.
HI.
I am having a dell Inspiron N5010 . I am getting a popup window in d bootup where it s asking me to enter the "ENTER THE HDD PASSWORD".. But here i dont know what the password is..?.. and also it asks for "ENTER THE SYSTEM PASSWORD" & " ENTER THE ADMIN PASSWORD".. i remember the system and admin passwords.. but i dont remember HDD password..
so how can i come out of this.. i dont want my harddisk data to be erased..
I have 3 Partition in my hardddisk.. C: , D:, E:, i need data which s present in D & E.. how can i get out of this problem..
Please help me with this.. ASP.

Dell Latitude D610 No Power
I have this D610 and it refuses to power on. The power cord is getting power, but when I hit the power button on the laptop all the light blink once and then immediately go off. If I hold down the power button all light will blink repeatedly until I let go of the power button. If I try this with out the power cord plugged in nothing happens. What can I do?

Questions and Confusion Regarding Network Drivers for Dell Inspiron 14R (4010) - Please Help!
I'm installing drivers for my sister's Dell Inspiron 14R (N4010) after a clean installation of Windows 7. I used the service code to determine that the laptop has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD550v/ graphics card and a Dell Wireless WLAN 1501 Half Mini-Card (4313bgn). Given that information, can you tell me if I need to install the below drivers? I don't believe I need to, but I just want to be sure. My understanding is that the below drivers are for wireless cards the laptop does not have.
Dell Wireless 5620 EVDO-HSPA Mobile Broadband Mini Card
Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 Driver
Intel® WiFi Link 6200/6300 and WiMAX Link 6250 Driver
Dell Wireless WLAN 1520 Half MiniCard Driver
Intel WiMAX Link 6250 Driver
Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300, Advanced-N 6200/6230 and Wireless-N 1000/1030 Driver (for some reason this driver is listed under "video")
Two additional questions:
(1) The Intel Turbo Boost Technology driver did not install correctly. It said that my system did not meet the minimum requirements. Does anyone have an idea what this means?
(2) The modem driver installation failed: "Could not find the MODEM device for this driver." Could someone please explain?

Samsung 840 EVO on Dell Vostro 3360 (problem)
Hi,
I have Dell Vostro 3360 with i3 processor and 4 GB RAM.
I have tried to swap my original hard disk (Seagate 320 GB 720 rpm) with newly bought Samsung 840 EVO SATA III.
I have tried those two options:
- cloning the original drive using Samsung Magician software
- installing fresh Windows 7 64 bits
In both the methods I have overcome the following problem:
Windows does not load properly (there is huge irregularity when booting the system):
- sometimes it boots up properly
- sometimes it freezes on 'Starting Windows' sign for about 2 minutes and then it works fine
- sometimes it lunches Restore Console
I have done the following things:
- run Samsung Magician: the software gives me the following results of read/write values: 137 MB / 140 MB (Samsung guarantees values that are close to 500 MB)
- optimized the hard drive using Samsung Magician
- updated the firmware, BIOS and the drivers
- made sure that AHCI mode in BIOS is on
Both cloning and installation of the fresh copy went smoothly, without any problems.
So my question is: Is it a problem with my computer - Does Vostro 3360 support Samsung 840 EVO usage? Or is it a problem with the drive itself?
I will be grateful for all the comments and suggestions!

Latitude 6430u Bluetooth upgrade
Hi All,
I've got a Latitude 6430u that I'd like to upgrade to have Bluetooth. It currently has an Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 (802.11 a/b/g/n) Half Mini Card and Dell Wireless 5560 (HSPA+) MiniCard so I believe I only need the 380 Bluetooth module and requisite cable - does anyone know the part numbers of these at all for a 6430u?

Inspiron M5010 7 Beep Sound
I have Inspiron M5010 which has started giving an strange problem. Whenever I start it, it given Beep sound in a pattern (7 beep and pause and again 7 beep and goes in that cycle) and refused to boot up.
Upon checking Dell community (en dot community dot dell dot com) i find that, its rather a common problem globally with M5010 model.
Its hard to believe that Dell Customer Care Executive are simply advising to go ahead with the replacement of Processor and don't recognize the issue as a manufacturing problem with this model.
Can any body provide me a better solution for this issue? I have seen in many cases, Dell has arranged a pickup for laptop and replaced Motherboard/ processor without extra cost.
Expecting some favorable reply from Dell and community members.

I am willing to buy the new xps 13, however I really need a sim card slot for a broadband connection on the go. XPS 13 L322X - Screen goes pink and then back to bright white
The screen on my xps 13 goes to pink hue for a few seconds an goes back to bright white. This is not common occurrence and i have this suspicion that it happens when the laptop warms up. Becomes like a wave, pink-white-pink-white......
Any ideas please?
