One of my a Dell Latitude E5440 has a LCD back cover crack and needs a replace. I had a look in the Dell shop > laptop parts but found no chance.
Tried to use online chat but not available.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My Inspiron 1720 wasn't charging anymore so I replaced the motherboard. But when I start Windows, I get a blue screen with the stop: 0x0000007B error.
What should I do? I'm happy that my laptop is charging now but I'm blocked with this blue screen.

I am using Dell Inspiron 14z (5423, Mid 2012). I am facing issues while shutting down the laptop. While I click shutdown the screen blacks out and remains in that mode. It seems to go in sleep mode.The power button LED remains ON. I tried to press key , hover mouse but the system does not respond/wake up. By pressing the power button one time also does not help system respond. I need to shut down by pressing hard the power key.

This morning, i turned my laptop on, and i went to go onto facebook, but i cam into a problem. My wifi wasnt working. I searched around for a solution but couldnt find one. I found the problem though, http://puu.sh/fs7on/438e5f4573.png, there is a link to the problem. it seems that the problem is that the broadcom 802.11ac network adapter's drivers cannot be loaded.
I cannot seem to find any solutions at all to that. I did a recovery from the 30th of january, when it was working, i reinstalled the drivers multiple times.
I would appreciate any help possible! I need this fixed asap as it stops me from being able to do my school work!

I have additional SSD 32gb although the booting time is over a minute as an average. I checked from My Dell and it seems like everything is performing normally.

Please can you assist me. My laptop does not seem to be loading windows. I cannot sign on or access anything on my laptop. I have done a diagnostic test and the following errors come up:
Error code 0146
Msg error code 2000-0146
Msg hard drive 0 - self test log contains previous errors.
Please can you advise me on how I can resolve this. so that I am able to sign on to windows and my documents.

I have an interesting case, at least for me, to see if someone has insights. My flatmate spilled his drink in his inspiron 2515. He unplugged it, removed the battery and let it dry for several days in a bag with rice. I opened it and cleaned what I could with acetone, even some spills on the motherboard. The computer starts perfectly and everything works fine, except that it has no sound (the driver produces an error) and the / key is stuck, even with the keyboard ribbon unplugged. Interestingly, with the keyboard plugged it is the g key that is stuck. The sound could be fixable with a sound card, but the stuck key makes it useless.
I have tried everything I have found on the web: upgrading BIOS, disconnecting the keyboard controllers, combinations of keys, pressing all the keys of an external keyboard, everything. Since you start the computer, you hear the bipbipbip of a pressed key. For the sound I updated the drivers of the sound card and the same: the icon appears as if no volume and a message says something like "no sound device found".
Any other ideas? Could it be the motherboard? Could that be fixed or does it need replacement? Should I take it out and try to clean it? Should I risk trying to replace it?

I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 7537 notebook in 2013 and there is a warranty on it until 2016, but I want to buy an SSD and 16 GB RAM to upgrade my system. Can I do it without loosing the warranty? Will a Samsung 850 Evo 500Gb SSD work fine in my notebook? Has Anyone some experience about it?

I am from Costa Rica (sory for my English). I bought my Inspiron 15R in the United States, from Costa Rica, through the web page on Dec/2013. The product had multiple fails last year that were solved using the waranty. Now my equip failed againg but my waranty ended on Dec/2014. I tried to extend it through the web page, put the request, they sent me an e-mail telling that a representative will contact me in the term of 1/2 business days BUT, the contact never hapened. I can't believe a brand new Dell product can have such a high rate of fails. I need urgent help. I need a replacement or, at least, a waranty extention, but I've tried every option in the web page unsuccesfully. PLEASE, HELP.

i've just got the XPS13 9343 Ultrabook, and installed my Win7 Pro X64 for better compitibility with the macros i have to work with.
after installing every driver i could download from DELL Support site, i find that the gesture function of the touchpad could not work. i can see the options could be turned on visually, but it doesn't work.
what's more, if i go back to check to options after i closed the touchpad settings window, the options still unchecked.
Driver version: v18.1.34 (A00)
the supoort team in China couldn't fix it.

I have a Dell precision M6500 laptop. I've had this problem for a few months now. When the charger is plugged in to the laptop while it is on the screen will randomly go black. However the laptop appears to still be running as audio is still played through my headset and can still be in a conversation on Skype however i have not tested how long this will last for. There is no way to get the screen back and this happens with both the laptop screen and a monitor/tv. Although if the laptop is ran in safe mode the screen does not go black with the charger in. Also to be clear this never happens while the laptop is unplugged. Would appreciate any thoughts or if more information is needed feel free to ask. Thank you in advance.
Over the last several weeks, my laptop has been losing power randomly. Sometimes it happens when it is running on battery (and has plenty of power), and sometimes it happens when I go to plug it in. The computer just turns off. How do I resolve this problem?

I have a new Dell Inspiron 11, 3000 series laptop. It has given me this message at least 3 times recently, "your battery is temporarily disabled. please turn off your computer and try again when the unit is back to the operational temperature." I ran the Dell Diagnostic and it didn't find anything. I also used the Dell Technical Support, but nothing came up there either. Please help?
