Hello there,
Is it possible after placing the laptopn in a docking station, to use both esata ports? I mean ie. one hdd connected to the one on the docking station and another to the side of the laptop?
Would aprichiate help.

My Laptop won't let me have two games at once
I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5547 and I am having problems with it. I have the game Saints Row the third and it works great. When I download another game, it locks up. It freezes and produces a low buzzing noise. It only works when it is the only game. I deleted Saints Row and just forgot about it but when I had downloaded a gam e then another one, I experienced the same symptoms as I did with sr3. Should I get it fixed or should I get it replaced? Please comment if you have a solution for my problem

How to disable automatically changing brightness
Hello,
guys i have a new dell inspiron 15 3542 and i am having a very weird problem.
The brightness of the display automatically changes. like for example i am working in a browser the display is quite bright but as soon as i switch to the desktop, which has a black dell wallpaper, the brightness automatically starts to get dim. I already disabled the Intel feature "display power saving technology", and still getting little changes in color when my laptop is unplugged.
Is there something else to disable?

Latitude E6410 Fingerprint Reader not working
Unable to get the fingerprint reader working. This device used to work just a few weeks ago but I was forced to reinstall Windows (7, 64-bit) and I can't get it up again. Thought I installed all software from Dell related to this computer but apparently not. No issues listed in the Device Manager. Control Vault listed as installed in Device Manger (see screenshot below). Connection Manager and Security Manager installed, though the System Manager installer keeps saying that a newer version is already installed so this one cannot be. I don't see System Manager in the Start menu but do see the other two unless it's not labeled that but just Dell ControlPoint, then I do have that. Not sure what else to do. Any ideas?

Garantee for HDD valid or not?!
I have Inspiron 17R SE (7720, Mid 2012), service mark: J1D8FT1.
Dell System Detect shows error in HDD and tells that garanttee for it is valid (though garantee for laptop is stoped.
But when I try to send message to Dell I have info that garantee is no more valid.
What I have to do?

Chrome browser does not show buttons and links
I know you guys like IE but I like Chrome. When browsing your sites the buttons to continue are often missing and I have launch IE to see the buttons and links. Why? I have a new Inspiron 11 with Windows 8.1.

router?
I need help with my new dell laptop and router.i have a netgear 34 and new dell laptop wich is a week old and router 2yrs old. router worked fine till now, I have to shut off router manualy at least 1 time a day to stay connected. everyday while on pc it doesent get signal. I turn off router for 5 min. turn back on and good for another day. samething tomorrow, any suggestiouns thanx in advance

Inspiron 11 is crashing and have to restore or refresh
I have a new Inspiron 11 that keeps crashing. I have had to refresh or completely several times. Dell software keeps failing. I do not know if it's the reinstall order of installation or what. Dell Backup seems to kill File History. Once the programs would not launch, once ANY program failed to launch, once the WiFI went out and absolutely nothing I or the TWC tech could not fix, several times the context menu of Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) was corrupted and it would not launch, and more. It does not give you time to launch F8 (the instructions with the restore USB storage device say F12 but that does not work) so you have reboot many times to get the F8 menu and it doesn't recognize the restore device. The graphics do not support the minimum required for touchscreen devices so the edges and borders do not display correctly. The touchpad software from ST is outdated but no update offered.and also the Realtec and Intel drivers are outdated. The touchpad goes wild with the cursor hover opening all kinds of menus and I have changed the settings many, many times and rebooted over and over. I hope you can get the updates updated for those us who need them. Some of the manufacturer sites say to contact you for the "custom" updates but they are not offered.

Inspiron 1525 Laptop. Forgotten user admin password.
Installed a new screen in Inspiron 1525 vista 2008 laptop. It is working,but the admin.user password has been forgotten. I can not update because I need this password. How can I find or delete this password. I can dissemble the unit. I do not have any disc's for it. It has been broken for over 5 years. Do not want to lose data stored on it. Why are the buttons on my touchpad so loud??? I turned off the tapping because it was way too sensitive and now I use the touchpad buttons much more often. I had planned to use this laptop at work but it would be way too distracting to others. Why have a quiet keyboard if you are gong to have a loud touchpad?

The system doesn't see the build-in webcam. inspiron N411Z
I have Dell inspiron N411Z (2009). the webcam stoped to work after skype upgrade. I found out that windows doesn't recognize the webcam. I install the driver Creative live! 2009 or 2011. But it's useless. Any advice?

Dell Precision M6600 micro processor upgrade 2620M to 2920XM
I would like to upgrade the micro processor in my Dell Precision M6600 (service tag<ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>).The micro processor I have now is 2620M and I would like to upgrade to 2920XM or 2960XM.

Changed Hard Drives
I have an Inspiron N7010 and a Studio 1537. Fans went out on the Inspiron and the drive went out on the Studio. I took the drive from the Inspiron and put it in the Studio. Works fine except I keep getting messages that I have an illegal copy of windows and I can't update. Sure hope there is a way to fix this

Inspiron 15 shuts off on battery
Yes, I have a 15" Inspiron still under warranty and less than a year old. It runs fine on AC if you unplug it, the computer just turns off. It does not shut down it just goes down. The battery says it if full or at least 80% but still goes dead.
Any ideas if it a battery or power circuit issue?
