I need help figuring out the correct steps to RESET this laptop, NOT refresh and which MS updates to install in correct order to avoid any errors. This laptop came out of the box with updates till september 2014. However after the out-of-the-box initial setup I noticed in the administration log files that the machine had several errors already listed.
Problem 1. Bluetooth
First it said the bluetooth was not working correctly and said that it might not work correctly with bluetooth keyboard or mouse. I noticed under "services" in the admin logs that bluetooth already had an account and password associated with it. HMMMMM is this normal and is that why the blue tooth seems not to be functioning? If I want to tether my android phone to this bluetooth, must I know this password that is already assigned to the bluetooth device on the laptop account?
Problem 2. Chipset driver update
Is it necessary to update hardware drivers after a reset IMMEDIATELY before updating ms updates? I read that if you do a full reinstall with an oem disc then the chipset needs installed immediately. Is this so for a reset also? Any other drivers need updated immediately before ms updates or can I wait till after fully updating all the 65 microsft updates to then install dell updated drivers? I know this website says that ms updates first THEN MS updates but that seems wrong in light of error event logs right out of box.
Problems 3. Dell updates, Microsoft updater,MS updates. What correct order to install of all updates?
Looks like the order in which to reinstall all microsoft updatesand Dell updates is important. As I said before, this computer has all updates till mid september 2014 right out of the box. The key update for 8.1 is already installed KB2919355. However, when going to the MS update website it REOFFERS KB2919355 again. Seems like you need to reinstall AGAIN to get some additional updates that weren't offered the first time (march 2014) it was installed. SO is KB2919355 the very FIRST thing I should install right out of box or ? HELP Looks like KB2975061 is required also because 2919355 causes problems like bitlocker open handle creating files that CAN'T i repeat CAN'T be deleted even in a reset. So...What order of ms updates do you recomend? Should I install KB 2975061 and then reset? Then 1st thing do KB2919355 then ? Evidently it updates and adds some small package of x86 files not included in the v1 rollout of 8.1 KB2919355. So V2 of kb2919355 supposedly also is supposed to download kb 2959977 but I don't see that in the listed kb files for the second kb2919355 v2 download.
Problem 4. Which EUFI module do I have and how can I check it's SHA256 hash? Don't know what KB update to download from MS updates if I don't know this and it OFFERS KB2920189 and KB2961908 which deal with this so I need to know if I can ignore and hide these updates.

Problem 5. BITS in DLL "C:\windows\system32\bitsperf.dll" failed. Error code 1008.
Do I need to put the bits server in automatic as apposed to manual? I have my MS updates set to notify of updates but not to download or install them. Seems like the KB2919355 8.1 v2 reinstall puts KB2959977 in the package that I can't find but supposedly this solves it BUT. I already have reinstalled it (kb2919355v2) and i still get these errors. So the bits service seems to be wrong somehow. I don't want to put the ms updater on AUTO because it will download a bunch of unwanted rollups like KB3000850 nov rollup that is plagued with problems. So, how should I resolve this persistent bits perf error if ms own updates don't fix it?
Problem 7. I have an invisible process in my task manager.
Says N/A. I can disable it but I don't know what it is. My guess is it has something to do with dell software or cyberlink. Does anyone else have this suspicous thing in theire task manager settings for startup?
Hope somebody can help that has been through this.
