Schematic for motherboard L322x L321x

I have a dell xps 13 with a L322x D13A motherboard. Dell wants 911$ for a new one. I have tested the PSU it has the correct 19v, the battery is also getting the 19v in. I would like to get the schematic so I can verify some other components. The wifi card, should it be getting 19v in? If so it is not. The IO board to the power light board is the only place where the soldering could be incomplete. I would like to test the voltage there as well as the wifi card, solid state drive if possible and the processor. The memory is integrated.

Where can you find a schematic?

This is a brief account (doesn't include all of the Dell.com "remedies" I attempted: I have a 17R 5720 that began freezing on random screens, then it began freezing on the Windows start screen and would go no further. Then I few nights ago, I decided to figure this out again, but NOW it won't power on at all. It's fully charged, the 4 lights on the front are lit (white; not blinking). No sounds of a start-up, no lights - other than the 4 on the front, of course a blank screen - not a BLACK screen but a screen that appears as it would if it were turned off. I called Dell; explained all of this and I really don't think he ever really listened to what I said. (i.e. after I answered him re: the screen with the info above; he asked if I saw a cursor!) Kept telling me that he's ordering an LCD kit for repair. I asked If a nonworking monitor would cause it not to power on and he said no (I knew that) I told him, then I don't think that's the problem. I tried to explain it again, but he really didn't listen and repeated the LCD part order and he's put in a work order for a local technician to call when the part's in. I was on the phone for an hour. I know this isn't the problem and this is gonna take up a lot of time and energy - for me AND the technician; who I'm sure won't have the necessary part. Plus, I really need this repaired quickly - I need to use it with my embroidery machine for Christmas!! What should I do?! Thanks, Julie D.

impossible to find network controller driver and ethernet controller driver for Dell Inspiron n4010.

 The service tag support page lists 8 different drivers for network and not one is the right one. All I need is to get the ethernet driver and I can locate the rest myself. I have been seareching in vain fopr almost a week straight now. I called Dell support today and all I got was a bunch of questions about my N.P.I. (Non public information. I asked the Dell employee on the phone if I give him my email( which dell already has) Would he send me a link to the ethernet driver. He said no. I told him I'm a tech and he said then you should be ableto find the driver. I explained once again how the only ones I'm finding are either wrong or they are on a page that wants me to install some malware ridden program.. I was and still am very disappointed in the way the company seems to manipulate  the driver location info in a shroud of secrecy.

Please if any /dell employee is reading this I would greatly appreciate some pointers as to where I might find the 2 drivers I mentioned or at least the ethernet controller for the Dell Inspiron n4010 with windos 7 home premium sp1. It would be nice to have my faith in Dell r estored once again as well.

I spilled hot tea on my n5110 laptop

What I did was

1-unpluged the charger and the battery

2- wiped the tea and and moved the device upside down to make the tea come out

3- tried to dry the tea with a hair drier

4- waited for like ten minutes and plugged the charger in and opened it

5- the device power button lighted up and I heard the fan moving and nothing appeares on the screen and after 10 seconds everything stops

6- I opened the device extracted every piece ( ram, hdd, motherboard ) and wiped them with dry towel first and after that with benzine

7- again plugged the charger and turned it on and as previous the device tried to boot but nothing appeared on the screen and I heard the fan and the power button lighted up and stopped after 10 seconds tried to turn it on again is time the power button lighted for a second and turned off automatically

What advice  can you give me ?

Inspiron N5030 sudden shutdown?

Please help! After working perfectly fine for a couple of hours the other day my laptop suddenly shut down. Since then it hasnt worked forlonger than 15-20 minutes without shutting down suddenly. I dont think its overheating as it nevers feels very hot. Ive tried unplugging it, taking out the battery and holding down the power button for thirty seconds but that achieved nothing. I went in f12 upon bootup and tried running a diagnostics test but the laptop shut down again halfway through. Is there anything else i can possibly do or is it just a goner?

Touchpad Mid-Button on E6430s with Windows 8.1

Hello All,

I upgrade my windows OS from windows 7 to windows 8, since then the Touchpad Mid-Button on E6430s with Windows 8.1 doesn't work!

I installed the drivers for windows 8.1 but I don't see the the middle button on the driver GUI, it was in the older one was 

keyboard typing on it own.How to debug the software issue?

After my system boots up,the keyboard starts typing '*' on its own. After sometime the system is working fine. While this error is there i have to press Ctrl button to use my touch-pad also. When i took my system to a service center they told me that it is a bug with windows 8,they rectified it and again after 1 week the same problem again pops up. Please help me out in this.

Old Vostro 1310 wifi upgrade? Possible?

Good morning to all. I have an older Vostro 1310 that I upgraded to Win7Pro SP1 64 bit a while back and I was wondering if there is any way to upgrade the internal WiFi card from the current 1395 Mini Card to anything newer?

Inspiron 7737 No power at all.

My Inspiron 7737 will not turn on.  There are no lights on at all.  I have gone through all the steps I've found on here and in the self-help including removing the battery and discharging the static power.  I've tried to 3 different Dell cords including one from my roommates 7737.  When I first tried to turn it on. the lights on the keyboard and the front indicator lights flashed on and off for a couple minutes then went completely out and haven't come back on.

My E4300 starts up in the correct angle but when icons come on the screen is sideways.

Can anyone help ?

 - Fingerprint reader

Please give me a feedback if a laptop with such a configuration is available.

I had purchased a Dell laptop during Diwali time (15th October 2014).

I had registered for the Diwali Offer (1 Gift Voucher + 2 Years Extended Warranty).

One and half months have passed but I have not received any response from Dell.

When I wrote Emails to Dell they told that the extended warranty has been given on 15th September 2014, though I have purchased the laptop on 15th October 2014 i.e. before the date of purchase. This results in carelessness and deficiency of service.

A legal notice was sent to Dell's Head Office in Bangalore, India which was refused from being accepted.

Till now I have not received any link for payment of the Extended Warranty.

I have also contacted my retailer (Dell Exclusive Store, Bandra, Mumbai, India). They have also kept me on hold.

I cannot understand that is this being done by mistake or done intentionally to trouble the customers.

I have lost all hopes with Dell.

I will never buy Dell products after this incident.

system recovery

Hoping I can get some help.  I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 that I bought 12/2009.  I was trying to do a system recovery (after doing all the proper back-ups) and after hitting the f8 key and getting to the correct screen it is asking me for a password.  I don't remember doing a password but then again that was 5 years ago.  I am the only owner (meaning I didn't buy it used).  Any and all help would be appreciated.

I m using dell laptop sice 2 years ,last week i try to update my pc  with windows latest graphic update unfortunately after  update the screen became blank with cursor blinking on it.Now i couldnt access my pc .safe mode also not working,tried to get in through last known good configuration but it doesnt work.

somebody pls help me in this regard. or assist through

Is my Graphics card faulty?

So i just recently build a computer. Everything went well until it came to installing the Graphics card driver. It installed fine then told me to restart. It took me to the windows logo but then went to a black screen. I tried installed the driver on a different monitor but the same thing happened. I have an r7 260x so the driver is Catalyst. I'm not %100 sure that its the graphics card because i was thinking it could be Catalyst.    Can anybody help here?

hello dell community ! my dell 3521 was working good and no problem on windows 7 32 bits but since i have changed to windows 7 64 bits it's fan become running very fast and makes noise always and that's annoying me so much ! i'am now on widows 8.1 64 bits and still the same problem !
if you have any ideas or solutions please help me ! (i can't concentrate on my study while my laptop is running)

Dell Inspiron 17R Laptop

I purchased a Dell Inspiron 17R 5737 about 9 months ago, it is my 3 Dell laptop as I usualy buy a new laptop every 3 years and was happy with the previous 2 but this time I am disappointed. From day 1 there were problems, most I have had sorted by the first Dell tech I contacted but one of the problems I have had from day 1 and cannot fix is a box that comes up every time I boot up telling me that Microsoft .Net framework version 2.0 is required to continue. I normally just click the box off the screen and the laptop functioned fine that is until recently when I tried to use my scanner which brings this box up every time I click to use the scanner, it also comes up when I try to open some media files. I have tried everything to fix this but it keeps coming up, Again I contacted an on line Dell tech who started going through the process of fixing things when I noticed that he was going to charge me a fee for this support even when I told him that this problem came with the laptop and It was only 9 months old and hardly been used he said the warranty was only covered hardware problems even though I paid for a product that had a defect in it and what really started to annoy me was that he kept proceeding with the intent of selling me a cover plan..

If this is the kind of product and support Dell are dishing out to loyal customers then I think it is time for a change and I will be spreading the word to all..

Battery cannot be determined

Hi,

Can someone help me? Have a Dell laptop-Inspiron N5030. Running Win7 home prem. Having battery cannot be determined or charged issues. 

Sometimes on boot up I receive the message "battery cannot be determined" and it says press F1 to continue, F2 for setup, or F5 for diagnostics. 

I've gone into setup to check the battery information. States battery life is at 0%, battery health says its not a Dell battery. But the battery came with the Dell laptop and is original.

Sometime it makes through the boot process and when Windows boots to the desktop I get the error message "The model number for primary battery cannot be determined. This will prevent any battery present from recharging. Please insert a Dell laptop battery, blah, blah blah.

I've tried to update the bios, but it won't let me. It states that the battery and AC adapter must be connected, or something similar to that. I also have a Dell Latitude laptop and tried swapping out my AC adapter and got the same error messages.

Is there something else I should be doing or does anyone have any recommendations? Sure would appreciate any help.

Dell inspiron 15 display is blank and beeps 8 times and do show the display when connected to a external device.

the problem occured after downloading display drivers and forgot to restart.
