My inspiron 15-3521 is beeping with nothing on the screen every time I turn it on. The only way to stop it is to turn it off via power button. From what I can tell it is one beep error code suggesting BIOS checksum failure. Any suggestions?? The laptop is only couple of months old!

I try to download the "dell webcam center" but I?m not able because there is an error in the web site.
What can I do??
It's really important for me because I'm outside home and the only way to call is Skype.

Error reading/writing memory
Hello,
My xps 14z (l412z) can't boot in BIOS. When I press the power button I can hear it only beeping 4 times in a row and it does not start even BIOS. I checked in the internet and found that this can be issue related to the RAM or the DIMM slots. I opened the laptop and tried with only one of the memories, then with the other one, I changed their places and didn't succeeded.
I also tried the RAM plates on a different laptop and they work fine.
Since I am in a foreign country for 2 weeks I don't have time to leave it here for a repair, so I would like to hear from you some other ideas to try instead of waiting so much time for a specialist to see it.
P.S. If it is not the DIMM slots/RAM plates, I guess it should be faulty motherboard. Should I think about a new one? It is a shame that this computer surrendered just an year and a half after I bought it. I have never had BSOD's or any other problems with it.

Inspiron 14z 5423 wifi problem
I have had a curious problem with my wifi since I owned the computer 8 months ago. I can connect to a network, and then after a random period of time, I lose internet connectivity, but maintain access to the router. The problem has been continual and unpredictable. Sometimes I will get half an hour or more of internet access, sometimes its only a couple of minutes, sometimes the problem appears immediately. Once internet connection is lost, it usually doesnt return until I restart the computer. The same problem has happened on every network I have tried to connect it to. I can get internet access by running a cable direct to the modem.
A second part of the problem is that bluetooth is completely non functional.
Ive looked at a few forums where others have had the same problem, and some with different models had found a solution from posting a screen grab from their device manager showing the network adapters, and the techs advised what settings to change. I cant post a screen grab right now but I will copy the details, and hopefully somebody can help me. The operating system is windows 7

Has someone noticed ghost images (screen burn-in) on Dell XPS 12 Duo?
I recently noticed ghost images on my Dell XPS 12 Duo. If a bright image on dark background stays on the screen for a couple of minutes and then I switch to somewhat dark background I can clearly see the previous image on the screen for some time before it fades away. Once I noticed it I started spotting even more subtle ghost images. I even managed to capture it in a picture with a low-end digital camera - http://imgur.com/a/RIYff (notice the tray icons clearly seen in the Win 8 start screen and even the facebook ad is visible). It is far more clear when you look at the actual screen and not on a picture. I already arranged replacement laptop (as I had other issues with this one) but yesterday I read news about mass defects in Apple's Retina MacBooks ( http://www.ibtimes.com/print/macbook-pro-retina-display-problems-apple-faces-class-action-suit-ghosting-issue-1129939 ) with practically the same issue. Now I wonder if it is possible that all Dell XPS 12 Duo screens have this problem.
So anyone else seeing this on his machine?

Dell Inspiron 15 7000(7537) WiFi issue
Hi,
I purchased the dell inspiron 7000 laptop last week. It has some issues with wifi connectivity.. Though it gets connected, we can see the signal bar fluctuating randomly and the speed of the interent connection is very slow. I am using the same connection for my phone and also checked it with other laptops and the wifi connection seems to have no problem. The download speed on the laptop shows 0.50mbps, while the download speed on another laptop connected to the same connection at the same time and spot shows 6.8mbps.
I have reported the issue the very next day of my purchase, so far I have not obtained any help from the dell customer support. Finally two days back I got a mail stating that there will be a service engineer visiting me in 2-3 working days. But ironically today I get a call form the customer support and they said the person wont be coming for the next week or so as they do not have the parts available.
Why would you want to change the part of a brand new laptop which is not even two weeks old????Is this a known issue for this model??

Laptop Inspiron 15 (N5010)
Originally came with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
Updated to Windows 8 Pro Media Center 64-bit (to match Windows Phone).
Everything works except when you click Dell WebCam software, and error exception message pops up, says it is gathering information to 100%, then reboots the computer which then comes up very slowly.
I looked at the Dell drivers and they are for Windows Vista and 7 64-bit. I did not see a Web Cam driver but is it called something else?
Is this Dell WebCam software available on the website? I checked the webcam driver and it said it was up to date.

My New Dell Laptop 15R 5520 suddenly shutdowns after 10 minutes

I bought a New Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 Series laptop in august 2013. Now i'm facing a problem of suddenly shutdown after booting the system (approximate 10-15 min). While I connect to Power plug, it works normally without shutdown. I just use a laptop for my Education purpose. My system configuration is listed below..

Hello Dell,
When will you be releasing drivers for the XPS M1330 specifically for the following operating systems:
Windows 8.1 64 Bit
Windows 7 64 Bit
Before you state this laptop is too old, it it quite capable of running this type of software, it just has a few driver related shortcomings such as inability to wake up wireless after sleep.hibernate and loss of 2 finger scroll on track pad.

battery charge?
A Dell tech told me that I was in trouble because the problem with this laptop was the motherboard, which would cost me about as much to replace as it would if I'd buy a whole new laptop. I kept getting a window when I turned the computer on --the window said that the computer couldn't read my cord and it wouldn't charge the battery. Okay. I'm wondering if there is any other way to charge the battery, other than the ordinary way of simply plugging the computer in. Could I pull it out and recharge it somehow? I'm not going to put in a new motherboard--too blasted expensive. The computer works just fine if it's plugged in.

I am considering buying a used Dell Latitude D610 in an auction. But the guy that is going to sell it, cannot remember his password to get into it and has not used it for about a year. How can I get into the system to reset it ? Will I have to completely reset it back to manufacturer status and start over. or will the hard drive have to be completely cleaned out and reformatted? Inspiron N5030 will not power up
My laptop will not power on long enough to hit any of the F keys . There are no beeps, the dell screen appears for about 5 seconds then the computer powers off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dell Inspiron 1521 not booting
I was using my Dell Inspiron 1521 when it blue screened. I shut it off, but it hasn't started up since. When I press the 'on' button it makes a noise as if it's starting, the 'on' light lights up, then there's a 'click' and it shuts down again. Any ideas?

New XPS 13 (9333) Constant Noise
I have just recently received a new XPS 13 with the new haswell i7 processor, 8gb RAM, 256gb ssd, and windows 8.1.
I really like this laptop, but it makes a really bizarre noise. It happens constantly as soon as its powered on, like a high pitched whirring sound from somewhere beneath the keyboard. It also seems pretty inconsistent, like it flickers in frequency, and when you use programs (e.g scroll through webpages) it gets louder.
Can anyone help me with what the issue is here? Any help appreciated.
