I'm afraid I may have hard drive corruption or damage (hybrid SSD/HDD 500TB from the factory) but (A) I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it, and (B) if I need to replace the hard drive, I'm not sure which to get.
It happens maybe once every 10 shutdowns, but it just freezes on the Shutting Down view and the blue circle stops spinning (sometimes the hard drive keeps clicking for a bit but then stops and nothing else happens). If I long-press the power button, the system turns off and then upon restarting doesn't show any indication that anything went wrong.
I'm not sure if this is bad or OK, but I'd like to figure out the problem in case there's bigger issues.
Can someone advice how to find out what's going on? I'll be running a *full* diagnostic from boot-up (F12) overnight, but I'd also like to know what else to look at (BIOS, Windows event logs, Dell error reporting, I don't know).
