Hello, i have brought dell inspiron 7567 two months before, today i was updating nvidia graphics card while updating, first it downloaded something then uninstalled nvidia and while installing new update it got some error, after that it got deleted, how to get it back. I am Evan Sirlin the president of Lifewatch USA. I am running my company from past 21years.
I am using Dell Vostro 3458 For 14" laptop with windows 10. It will not come on. It says no bootable device, please restart system. I have read several forums and tried the F2 fix with going into the setup utility, but to no avail. I am not in the least tech savy, so I am afraid to experiment too much. I have business files on this computer that I need access to soon. Can someone give me any suggestions?

Inspiron 5765 Native Scrolling in Windows10
Just purchased Dell Inspiron 17 5765 with Windows10, I immediately went looking for the Synaptics Del Touchpad product to enable scrolling. Unfortunately what I found was in Settings under Devices. Apparently now I have to use 2 fingers to scroll up/down which at best is slow and awkward/troublesome to use. With the Dell Touchpad(Synaptics) product I had on my prior Inspiron running Windows10, single finger scrolling using the right side of the touchpad was available. Having to use 2 fingers is cumbersome.
Is 2 finger a scrolling requirement with this 5765 model Inspiron? Is there any way to install Synaptics Touchpad so I can scroll up/down smoothly and easily with 1 finnger? Is 2 finger scrolling native to Windows 10 that therefore requires it to be used. I am running the Dell/Synaptics Touchpad V19.0.9.4 which was available after I migrated my Inspiron M731R from Windows8 to Windows 10.

XPS 13 2in1 (9365) - random pointer movement
I have a new XPS 13 2in1 (9365) and everything works great except the cursor randomly bounces across the screen. I've updated every driver as well as the bios to no avail. You can watch the movement at the video link below.
I assume this is simply a driver issue since the touchpad works fine whenever I'm just messing around in the bios.
BUT there's no Dell touchpad driver available. Under the Device Manager, under "Mice and other pointing devices" - there are three listings all with Microsoft drivers:
HID-compliant mouse
HID-compliant mouse
PS/2 Compatible mouse
Any suggestions?

problem on LATITUDE 7370
Hello all,
i have a big problem here. i just bought my laptop last month, it is a "LATITUDE 7370" type. i bought it at japan coz they have a very good offer while i'm working over there.
after i came back to my hometown at indonesia. i felt my laptop running slow while i do my task at photoshop ,when i plugged the adapter to the electricity. *the voltage in indonesia is 220V.
but when i unplugged the adaptor while i do my task at photoshop, the performance is stable.
i am afraid that it was a different voltage between japan and indonesia. coz japan voltage is 110 V, and indonesia voltage is 220 V. sorry for my stupidity. coz i dunno much of knowledge about electronic theory.
or anyone here have the same problem as me?
i will be very happy if anyone here can share their knowledge about my problem. i hope my problem will solve.

Problem in my Dell laptop Microphone
Hello,
My Dell laptop model Inspiron 15 5000 series, Service TAG: DLKYPF2 has an audio issue.
The internal and external microphone doesn't work properly. For example I use voice recorder app to record my speech. When plaid the recording message, voice volume level was not stable, some voices normal others very low.

Help Dell insprion 5559 flashes orange and white, no screen power on
My dell 5559 inpsirion screen wont start, the battery has been changed between old offical one and new greencell on,won't work :(
New power jack has been installed wont work :(
new adapter has been bought won't work :( (both official)
the machines defintity switches on as the cd rom drive works when i push it, thats with a connected power cable and without one.
the screen just wont switch on
all updates have been made from beginning of july 2017
any suggestions ??

Dell Inspiron i7559 Keyboard problem

I am facing problem with keyboard of 1.5 year old Dell Inspiron i7559 laptop. Few days back, the keyboard suddenly stopped responding while I was using Google Chrome , and volume display kept popping up randomly. I restarted the laptop but no key press was being responded with character "nb" automatically getting typed. With multiple efforts, I was able to input PIN through touch keyboard. I diagnosed with Dell diagnosis tool but all the component passed test. Then for sometime, the laptop responded normally. But this problem kept on recurring intermittently. I tried changing keyboard. It worked well for 3-4 days but then suddenly all keys stopped responding. So I concluded that keyboard was not faulty. and I put the original keyboard into the system. Then I tried following method as suggested in an old post by Ravi CH of Dell.

Hi DS15,
I’d suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below and check for issue resolution.
- Switch off the computer.
- Disconnect the AC adapter from the system.
- Remove the battery from the computer.
- Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
- Then connect back all the peripherals and check for issue resolution.
Also, I would suggest that you run the diagnostics on the computer after the above steps by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.
Please let me know the findings.

With this the problem was solved. The laptop and keyboard were responding normally. However the joy lasted only for 2 days.
Yesterday while using Google Chrome, again Volume display popped up and keyboard stopped responding with characters "nb" randomly appearing.
Do I need to again do the battery removal process as suggested above frequently or could there be a permanent solution? Also would love to know the root cause of the problem.

Dell 5576 Wireless Issues
It says the Wireless link speed on the Wireless AC card is 866/433 mbps when I check the properties via Windows 10. However when I do Speedtests or downloads it maxes at only 100mbps download. My 2016 MacBook Pro gets 350mbps down with a connected link speed of 877mbps with no issues on it's Wireless AC card as well as my XboxOne S. When I log into my Router and view connected devices it also shows the Dell connected with a link speed of only 390mbps. This is supposed to be one of those Dell gaming laptops and it can't even get true wireless AC speeds?

Bluetooth Intel 7260 stopping work on Latitude E6540

I upgrade may Dell Latitude E6540 with a Intel 7260 card.
So, the bluetooth some times stop work. In device manager it appear with a yellow exclamation.
After reboot, the bluetooth work.

Dell Inspiron 7537 Laptop Missing Characters When Typing
Machine approaching three years old and not continually used. A couple of weeks ago, it started missing characters when typing or it will type two characters and then highlight them so when you type again the first two characters are gone. Does this on both the on screen and laptop keyboard. Tried an external keyboard and it too acted the same way.
Here's what I've done - run diagnostics (no issues), downloaded and installed most recent BIOS, chipset, video and all other drivers. Have also in Device Manager deleted keyboards and rebooted with no change. All Windows 10 updates are installed.
Most of the time I have it plugged in and charge set to only charge when battery is approaching low.
Have not removed the battery and keeping it as a last option.
Any ideas?

If your M3800( and other laptops) mouse touch pad not working, then time to replaced the battery!
My M3800 touch pad began being very difficult to use about 6mos ago. I also started to get messages about the battery needs replaced soon. Then a few weeks ago, my internal clock started to lose time (not only lose time but start going backwards!)
So, I ordered a replacement battery, a CMOS battery to correct the loss of clock time and Dell did not have a replacement avail for the mouse pad. Good that they didn't.
When I took out the old battery I saw that it was 'ballooning' out or puffy, which is what a bad battery will do somethimes when it needs replaced. Compared to the new battery I was installing, the old one was approx 50% thicker than the new one due to this ballooning effect.
When I put everything back together, the clock worked (yeah! that was such a pain!) and now my mouse pad works like new! Apparently the puffy battery was putting pressure on the mouse pad from inside (battery sits just under mouse pad).
Everything's good now! Although, I won't mention the part about when I first put it back together I got the 4-beep alarm - long story short, one of the memory cards got trashed during the repair. Not sure how but tested both 8gb cards by removing and switch slots and all worked when only the ;good; card was inserted into either slot and got 4beep alarm when bad card was inserted into either slot. So just ordered a replacement 8gb card. Ok, so I mentioned it....

Hi Team ,
I am very disappointed to know that a brand like Dell is having a manufacturing defect in their best selling laptops. I have gone through the "Inspiron 5547 laptop pops open at the right side joint while closing" thread thoroughly and found it very surprising that issue is not resolved or nobody is taking the ownership of design flaw.
I have purchased my laptop in 2015 and handled with extra care (still I have the poly bag cover that comes during the new purchase).
My question is where shall I go to whom shall I contact to get it rectified asap?
Also if it is a manufacturing defect then why shall customer pay ?
Anyone from dell team can you please take a note and update me.

My Inspiron n5110 doesn't detect an nVidia card at all!
I've seen online that the Inspiron 15R (n5110) has a dedicated nVidia GT 525M.The frustrating problem is that my computer doesn't detect anything. Other than the Dell drivers, nothing! Device Manager can't even find it
Normally the nVidia driver should be displayed here, but it isn't. Other posts say I have to reinstall nVidia. I've tried installing the drivers from this site and from nVidia's site, but both say "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue" "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware"

Vostro 5568 i7 turns off instantly while just rotating the cover slightly
Hi, I am new to this group and help from this community is badly needed from me!
Just few days ago, I have purchased Dell Vostro 5568 i7 7500 CPU @ 2.7 GHz.
It is running with Win 10 Pro, 64 bit OS and 8 GB RAM
Problem is, it turns off instantly while just rotating the cover slightly.
Then for starting it, when I press the power button, it does not respond at all. In that case I connect the AC adapter to start over the machine again. However sometimes connecting the AC adapter does not help; as I insert the power jack, the yellow indicator at adapter turns off and need to unplug and plug it from the switchboard.
Interestingly when I successfully connect the AC adapter (yellow on), that time my charging indicator near the touch pad blinks for certain seconds and then turns off. (Usually it shows white while charging and the screen is folded.
Can anyone help me to diagnose the issues?

XPS 15 - What Network Driver to use for restore from Windows Server?
Just got an XPS 15 and I wanted to immediately image it. Problem is I can't figure out which driver I need to install to get it on my wireless network. I thought it had the Killer NIC WiFi, so I installed that driver on the USB key that Windows Server created for bare-metal restores. So that driver loaded, it could see the NIC, but it couldn't get on my network.
On the other hand, I could just use a USB to Ethernet adapter, but I may have the same situation where I need to load a driver for USB.
Thoughts? What other driver should I be loading?

XPS 15 hangs on public WiFi
I've been struggling with this issue for some months. My XPS 15 freezes without warning when I'm on public WiFi. It sometimes starts to responds again (very slowly) after a few minutes, but usually requires a power-down restart. I can't use Task Manager to troubleshoot after the event because the tabs of programs and processes don't populate.
I have tried disabling HDD sleep mode, but I still have the issue.
I'm pretty sure this has never happened on a secure WiFi network. My best guess is that some bandwidth-hungry process with too high a high priority is locking up the system, thanks to throttling of the WiFi service, but I don't know how to find the culprit.
Are there some Dell or other programs I should try disabling? Better yet, is there a program that can monitor, log, and summarise the port activity?
