Hey. Just got a brand new Inspiron Gaming Laptop. It didn't come with any recovery media. If the worst does happen, how do I reinstall Windows 10? Drivers, etc?

Can't see "Cellular" options/network on Latitude E7470
I am trying to figure out how to use (configure) the Cellular Modem in my Latitude E7470. I have inserted a Cellular SIM card in the slot, but I do NOT see "Cellular" under Settings-->Network and Internet, nor do I see "Cellular" when I click in the list of Network connections from the Tray. Any ideas? Thanks!

Problem in switching on the laptop
My laptop model no is 80BX812. It's been two years of buying and is out of warranty now. Whenever I switch on the laptop the battery light on the laptop flashes and then blows off. Sometimes it gets switched on and sometimes not. I can't recognize the problem. Please help.

DDR3 into DDR3L Laptop?
I was wondering if you could swap the DDR3L 8GB RAM stick in the Dell Inspiron 13 7359, with a 8GB DDR3 RAM stick. On the board it is printed "only for DDR3L", but couldn't you swap? I don't necessarily know if any benefits would even come with a swap but am generally just curious.

Dell latitude 3340 psu problem
Hi all, I have a charging problem with the pc mentioned above.
ok, the problem is:
If I try to power on the pc with just the psu, hd and cpu fan turn on, but after 2 sec they stop, then again turn on and stop, constantly. During this process I have no post signals and no video output.
While, if I plug in the battery the pc works fine, but there's one strange thing. In the first case the white led on the psu 'jack' stay on, instead in the second case(with the battery plugged in) when I try to plug in the psu connector, the white led on the psu 'jack' turn off, and ofcourse it doesn't charge the battery.
Now the tacts are these:
- The psu work, because I tried it on another laptop.
- I also replaced the female part of the charging system. The module where I plug in the power connector I mean.
So, which could be the problem, any advice, hope it's not the mobo :(

DW5811e X7 LTE issue with Sierra skylight
Hi,
I've installed the DW5811e module with the right dell drivers (appears good in win10 device manager) so I try to set up an APN for mobile broadband connexion thru Sierra Skylight connexion manager but it always show "no services" and don't detect any cellular networks. It appears that the software still use a genric wwan card instead of the DW5811e... I used the same simcard in a 3G usb device and it's working just fine so i'm sure the card is not the problem !
any idea how to solve my problem ?

Dell e6420 shut down after few seconds
Hello all,
I am having exactly the same issue mentioned in above link. My laptop dell e6420 shut downs after 5 seconds. While starting only caps lock key goes on for few seconds.
This happened a week ago, but then I tapped hinges as per verified answer in above link and it started but now again it is causing the same issue. This time tapping of hinge didn't worked. So, I disassembled it and after reassembling it started once and again it stopped.
I am sure that LCD is not broken. But can't figure out the actual reason for it.
please help.

Wake Inspiron 7579 from Sleep via Network?
I have a Dell Inspiron 7579 laptop that I have set to sleep after 1 hour.
I would like to be able to wake the laptop remotely via network to access the laptop after it has gone to sleep. It currently won't respond to WOL.
What settings do I need to change to enable this behavior?

Dell XPS 15 9560 sudden performance drops
I've got some super weird issues going on with the Dell XPS 15 9560.... After playing a game as simple as Overwatch for like an hour the laptop suddenly drops the fps as low as 11fps but usually hangs around the 30fps (this on lowest settings....) but that's not it, it's not just the game.... when you close the game you will notice that the whole laptop is slowed down like crazy.... mouse lags applications takes ages before opening. This stays for like half an hour before it returns to normal speed. At first I thought that it was thermal throttling but the temperatures are in the 60/70s.... nothing crazy. ( undervolted+ thermal pads have been added to prevent thermal throttling) Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? About to lose my mind, my previous laptop with 765m gpu ran overwatch on lowest settings without ever causing me any troubles. Yet this 2000$+ system fails to run the game on lowest settings.

USB Boot problem
Dear I'm using Dell Inspiron 3542 (i3-4030u, 4096 DDR3L). I want to install windows 10 from USB stick. i make a bootable USB using RUFUS 2.15 (ISO downloaded from Microsoft website). after selecting USB Stick from boot menu system enter into "Automatic repair" menu instead of starting fresh installing process. So how to resolve this problem
I use that USB on my other system it works perfectly.

External Graphics card for Latitude E6540
I have a Dell Latitude E6540 laptop.
I want to use an external graphics card which is VR ready with this latop. When i say external i want to plug it to the latop using an adapter so that i dont have to fit it inside the chasis.
Is this possible and if yes do you have any recommendation.
Graphics card i am looking at is as below:

Dell Latitude D410 RAM
Hello,
My laptop (Latitude D410) has two RAM memory cards, one of 2GB on the base and a 1GB card under the keyboard, a processor intel M 1.73GHz, when i check the BIOS (Revision A05) on Memory info says: 2048MB of memory installed.
I'm running linux mint 18.2 Sonya xfce 32-bit, so i want to know how to activate or get the BIOS or Linux OS to use the 1GB card.
when i run the command "sudo lshw -short" shows too
2004Mib System memory.
( On windows 7 32-bit recognises and uses the entire 3GB of ram).

Dell inspirion 7566 battery level doesn't change.
My new dell notebook has the following issue:
My battery level indicator doesn't change during use. It shows the same level, and changes only after restart, or after sleep.
I have installed last version of BIOS and other drivers...
Is anybody know how to solve this?

Dell Inspiron 15 i5559-4682SLV Windows 10 Very Slow After fresh install
Hi,
I have bought Dell Inspiron 15 i5559-4682SLV April 2016. I started to see a message that my power supply is not compatible and can not be determined then my battery is dead then the laptop sound turned weird. I made a fresh install of Windows 10 to fix the sound drive. After a clean install, The computer has been very slow. For 3 months we stopped using it. Even I can install a new BIOS update as the power supply is not compatible per the laptop message. Can you please advise?

XPS 15 9560 Killer wireless card is flaky
I'm posting here after contacting technical support by phone and receiving little help. The issue is my brand new laptop that I believed was off top quality parts has what appears to be an inferior wireless card installed in it. The Killer wireless card seems to lose the ability to discover and connect to wireless networks, especially after resuming from sleep. The only solution I've found is to restart my computer. This happens about every other day.
Unfortunately, updating to the latest drivers for all components in the laptop has had no effect.
Dell agreed to consider replacing the wireless card with a much more industry standard Intel variant, but ultimately denied the request (after delaying the decision for over a week).
Needless to say, I'm frustrated and will accept any advice on the matter.

DVI suddenly stopped working on old PD01X and PR01X docks.
Hello, DVI output suddenly stopped working some months back. I have multiple docks to test with, as well as multiple laptops [M6300's and D630's]. None of them work.
Although my system is complex it has been working flawlessly for years. I have a kvm switch as well as a DVI splitter however I bypassed all of that testing the DVI dock problem.
When using the DVI on the laptop with no dock it works fine, so it's not the monitor or the cable.
Tested using just the M6300 [several] on the dock then DVI out directly to monitor, no go.
I use mainly Manjaro Linux, I tried booting from a live Manjaro CD made way before the problem started, same thing. Thought it might be a video driver problem but that would seem to rule that out.
I have a D630 laptop with Windows XP professional, same thing.
I have found no info on others having this problem, certainly I must be missing something here if I'm the only one! Again let me stress, everything worked flawlessly for years with the DVI then suddenly stopped. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!

5759 takes 10 seconds to turn on-is that an issue?
Just aquired an Inspiron 5759 which is great and does everything I want apart from one thing - it takes an eternity (10 seconds) to show anything on the screen and as it doesn't have a power light I thought it wasn't turning on the first few times I pressed the power button so obviously pressed it more times than I should have!
I have seen the thread about switching the light at the front to show the HDD activity but as you have to press the fn and H key every time you turn it on it doesn't really help.
This is a real issue for me so is there any way to make it boot quicker?
