I just bought my laptop 2 weeks ago and it has been saying that the battery wont charge since it isn't a genuine dell battery (which it is) but it would still charge. Recently that notification has been removed and now at the bottom right it shows no battery is present. Now I'm not sure if the battery is still charging because it still works even when I am unplugged. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 2 year old Inspiron 15 5000 laptop with the original AC adapter supplied by DELL ( windows 10). . I used to get intermittent warnng about the AC adapter not being recognized, but it would go away and the laptop would charge fine.
For the last month laptop is constantly displaying "plugged in not charging" message, but it works well while it is plugged in.
I have updated the bios.
I also bought a new OEM adapter. The battery charged initially, but after that it started with plugged in not charging warning message.
Looks like the AC adapter is not the issue. Any idea, or I just throw it in the junk heap!

I need help to bring my system back to live. When i power my system I get error code 0xc000000f. Before the error code I am using window 10 Anniversary update. I don't have recovery media. I have created one from window but i couldn't set the pc to boot from flash drive. The flash drive is the fifth on the boot sequence.
If there are any other way to get the system work, Please help with a detailed easy to follow guide as I am a newbie in this.
I dont have window recovery DVD or any other form.

My Dell inspiron N5040 is about 10 months old, it has been down for 2 days now, it went off suddenly when I was playing a game while charging it, none of the indicator lights come on, not even the charging light, the battery is okay (tried it with another system N5040) and the Charger is also not the problem as it charges the other system, another thing I should mention is that the green indicator light on all (3) AC adapters I've tried either go off or fluctuate whenever I plugged them into my PC.

I could use some assistance troubleshooting an issue with my new Dell Inspiron 7657.
Specs:
i5 7300hq (2.5-3.5)
gtx 1050 ti
16gb ddr4 2400
ssd main drive
7200 rpm hdd
The issue I'm having is the CPU will throttle to below its base frequency while gaming - temperatures do not exceed 70c. See below screenshot:

note: 1st line is CPU, 2nd line is GPU, 3rd line is gpu memory usage and 4th line is fps
The difference between 2.3ghz and 3.1ghz in bf1 is a difference between 30 and 60 fps - so this is kind of a big deal when it comes to gaming.
I cant seem to be able to find out the solution to this - im running on the latest drivers and bios - ive even installed intel tuning utility and pumped up the cpu wattage to see if it was a power limitation.
I could use some additional heads grinding away at this issue. I can't seem to find any related posts online.
I get a 2000-0511 Processor Fan Fail error and cannot correct it. I tried updating the driver and cleaning the air vent slots at the bottom but I still get the error. The machine is still under warranty until 12/2/2017.
How can I fix this or can I send it back t Dell for repair?

Just wondering if anyone has any idea on what is going on with my network. Basically my upload speed is pretty slow. It doesn't matter if I'm operating on wireless or wired connection. Testing 2 different phones and another computer and they have no issues. A speed test puts general download at around 30mbps and on the alienware the upload refuses to go above 1mbps, every other computer/device tested sits at 7mbps+. I have tried google and various things found there with no avail, so I come here to see if anyone here can help solve the issue.
My laptop slipped off my lap and hit the ground on the charger port side with my charger still inside. Now the charger keeps slipping in and out, and when I do manage to keep it in, the "Battery" icon shows tells me that its not charging even when it shows the outlet sign right next to the battery.
I'm considering to replace the charger port soon. I'm using an Inspiron 15 5100, is the motherboard connected to the charging port?
Also, if you can answer this, (not that you have too, just if you can) how much would It cost to manually fix it vs. how much it would cost to have someone like GeekSquad to fix this?

I have a DELL Inspiron 3542 laptop and I had some power issues with it recently. I took it to a dealer and he replaced the BIOS chip on my motherboard. Now the problem is that the BIOS has a different service tag and model name. I am not able to flash it with the BIOS that is specified for my model. It says "running on unsupported system". My system is running on Vostro 3546 BIOS firmware currently and it works fine.Is there a way wherein i can flash the same BIOS chip with the recommended BIOS firmware for 3542? If yes, please help...
With my most recent update (and, after looking, for several past updates) everything has gone smoothly except the Synaptics driver is "failing" to be installed. I also tried to download and install directly (the most recent touchpad driver available on the web is from October 2015) from the Dell site, which also failed.
Functionally, the problem I'm having is that, after following all the directions in the Help Article on changing touchpad settings (or disabling it), when I get to
Devices > Mouse and Touchpad > Additional Mouse and Touchpad Settings > "Click to change Dell Touchpad settings" the action simply fails. I get a "working" icon (spinning blue circle) on the pointer, but it never gets to the next page.
Has anyone had this problem? Has anyone had the Synapctics portion of the latest/any update(s) report as "failed to install?"

Inspiron 15R 5520. Laptop works until battery runs out of power. Have tried multiple chargers (including 2 different new ones) and nothing charges the battery. Tried removing the battery and plugging the charger in. The laptop would not even turn on. Something seems to be preventing power from getting from the charger into the laptop. Please advise.

I have a booting issue and created post about it about a week ago. People were very helpful and told me to try some things, but it didnt work and I lost my motivation to try other thing.
So I decided I'm just gonna factory reset my laptop since I have most things backed up on cloud.
