Hello everyone ,yesterday beforei turn off my pc everything was good... but today when i try to turn on my pc it isnt starting. Dell logo loads and im seeing black screen with 1 short line which flashes 3 times and the computer is restarting again and again and yea this is the problem. I tried everyone part of my pc and they are all working, i changed the bios battery but nothing. Pls for help, thanks.

E6530 blank screen after BIOS downgrade attempt
Hi,
I attempted to downgrade from BIOS version A18 to A13 on Windows 10. I let it finish and it appeared to finish successfully and let it do its restarts, but when it starts, the fan spins up and the computer powers off. There is nothing on the display being shown. The disk activity indicator is blinking while the battery and network LEDs stay lit until I press the power button and the cycle continues.
The laptop is a Dell E6530 and I cannot find anybody that happened to have the same problem with this model.

Del Inspiron 5559 modum slow
Brand new, less than a month old.
Very slow download/upload. Using Ethernet connection, ran speedtest.net and it shows almost 20% slower than my other laptop (other laptop not connected at same time. Ran separately after disconnecting Dell.
Very frustrated with Dell. Phone support not helpful and rude.

Laptop switches off when moved
I bought my dell laptop in 2015 september and today it suddenly switched off when moved and when i tried to restart then it took a while and then when i moved it again it switched off. I started it again and it went on well until i tried to move it again and switchedd off. How to resilve this problem as i have lots of work with ky laptop.

This happened when i just removed battery from pc which's in sleep mode.

Dell Inspiron Duo 1090 | SATA Interface and Hardware Upgrade
Hi, i'm about to get this old netbook, anyone know what is the latest SATA Interface it supported? Is it SATA II or SATA III?
i'm going to upgrade it since some of the parts are outdated.
Will Duo compatible with the parts i listed?
Kingston SSD A400 or Samsung EVO 850 (depends on the SATA Interface which Duo Supported since if even i bought the 850, i won't get the advantages of its speed perfomance if the Duo Motherboard only support SATA II Interface, if it's SATA II then i'll go with Kingston)
Intel Wireless Card 7260
Samsung 2GB DDR3 1333MHz (Anyone know, is the netbook support RAM capacity more than 2GB?)

Inspiron 5765, Where Is The Battery
I have a new Inspiron 5765 laptop computer. I do not know where the battery is on this computer and I don't see any place where it can be removed. Does this laptop have a removable battery? Does the bottom of the computer have to be unscrewed to access the battery?

Inspiron 5567, keyboard replacement to backlit, disassembly
Hi,
I have purchased a Dell Inspiron 5567 and wish to upgrade the keyboard to a Backlit one. The keyboard I have bought is compatible with the laptop, and the laptop also has the connector on the Mainboard for the backlight flex cable. The problem is that the present keyboard does not seem to come off. It is under the Palmrest and secured from the back with a sheet metal which is moulded into the body of the laptop. I have contacted some people and they said that in order for the keyboard to come out I would have to break these seals/moulds. Is this recommended or should I just stick to the normal non-backlit keyboard the laptop came with? I am also concerned about voiding the warranty if I do this modification.

Inspiron 15-5547 SSD upgrade - Compatibility issues?
Hi,
I have recently upgraded my Dad's Inspiron 15-5547 laptop by replacing the standard HDD with a Samsung 850 EVO SSD drive.
Having swapped out the drive and installed Windows 10 everything seemed in place, however, the system soon started to have issues.
The power button became unresponsive, some times making it impossible to turn on the system, other times finally doing so after 8+ presses.
This behaviour made the system very frustrating to use.
I removed the SSD and reinstalled the original HDD and the system and power button then work flawlessly again.
Is there any known compatibility issue between the Inspiron 15-5547 and Samsung Evo 850?
Are there any other reasons why installing the SSD would lead to issues like this?

e7250 Hard Drive Support
I'm looking to upgrade an e7250 with a 1TB hard drive. However, I can't find any documentation stating the laptop can support such a large drive. On the spec sheet it states up to 512MB drive. I've checked the details of all of the BIOS upgrades (Currently up to A15), and they make no mention of larger drive support.
So, my questions are, can the laptop support the drive and does anyone have a currently working e7250 with a drive larger than 500GB? I'd like to know it actually works before I put down the cash on one.

Dell 7510
Enterprise laptop. Image as we normally do. Yet the screen does a flicker-type-refresh blink ever so often (every 15-20 seconds).
Dell replaced the motherboard, the LCD screen. I've re-imaged numerous times...New drivers and older drivers.
It has the Nvidia Quadro M2000M drivers but its missing the Intel HD 530 drivers. It will not let me add those drivers saying, and it'll say "this file does not meet the system requirement" or "this is a less newer driver then the one installed".

Is the SATA cable for the Precision 5520 the same as the 5510?
Need the SATA cable to add a 2.5" HDD to a 5520.
Is the SATA cable part for the Precision 5510 the same as the SATA cable part for the 5520?
They look almost exactly the same (from pictures) but If someone could confirm, I would appreciate it.

Dell XPS 15 9560 screen distortion
I have a Dell XPS 15 9560 512GB SSD 4k 16GB. Today whilst using the laptop the screen began flickering. Now there is a permanent distortion on the screen. The screen has an impression of what I was doing even while it is booting (before the OS has loaded, during Dell boot screen where you can enter the BIOS)
Since this happens from the very moment I power on the laptop and before Windows has had a chance to load - it seems to me that this indicates it could well be a hardware issue. I have had the laptop for around two weeks. It is still under warranty.I need this resolved ASAP what should I do?

Blue Screen 0xc0000000d Boot Corruption
I have a new Dell 11 3000 series laptop. It has been OK up until the latest mega-update by MS. Now it wont boot into Windows. I have files on the C: drive ready to be backed up - and I can't access them. How on earth can I get the damned thing to reboot?
I thought of using Linux Puppy to run in RAM and at least be able to copy my files to an external drive but since the \boot files are corrupt \i can't even change the boot priorities..
I've heard that only full restore and reset of Win 10 can get things back to normal - but that will mean losing all of my files - 400GB worth.

Dell Precision M3800 workstation
I’ve bought about 3 years ago, a Precision M3800 workstation (~2300 EUR). The first 15 months used it about 3 times a week. After 1 and half year, the fans started to be noisy. Called the help center they said it’s normal due to the heat – OK, I agreed. Since then, it started to do more and more noise. Called again, the center they said the guarantee is over, you must send it in for repair and it’s payable – I asked ‘Why?’, their answer: “it’s a problem with the ventilators.” How come? 6 months before it was OK, now it isn’t. Thereafter, I put it to rest because I got a new desktop workstation (from another vendor). About 6 months ago, I took it again out, and no noise. Now again for 2 month it started again to more noise than previously. Did a diagnostic (read somewhere on the Internet), get error code 2000-8008, apparently, a memory issue? I’m sorry to say, but your customer service is “zero”. Again, searched the Internet and found, that issue with the ventilators is known since already 3 + years! Why didn’t the help center say it straight away?

Dell Laptop stuck on LOGO
DELL Laptop Inspiron i5748-5000sLV
Pushed the power button and the round Dell logo comes on but the status bar at the bottom does not fill up !
Pressed every F key but stays the same, although the 2 options (F2.F12) that they do give you on the bottom right, If I press F2 setup it lights up but nothing happens same thing with F12 Boot Options.
Done the take battery out hold power button still does nothing.

Dock TB16 and Dell XPS13 9350
I recently purchased the TB16 dock and I am using it in combination with a XPs13 9350.
I updated all drivers, bios, ...
I also tried the "siwtching off wireless" suggestion already
Problem is, the monitor goes blank several times each day.
Any suggestions ? Any fixes ?

XPS 11 battery not holding charge
Over the last 6 months or so my XPS 11 has been loosing charge when not turned on. I exit windows with the "Shut Down" option, not "Sleep" so I expect everything to be turned off. Overnight the charge drops from 100% to about 65%, and if I leave it turned off for more than a couple of days there is no charge at all when I try and turn it on.
I have run the BIOS battery check as well as the Dell system diagnostics and they both report a healthy battery.
Has anyone else seen this problem and can suggest a remedy? It is really annoying!
