Hi,
I'm using XPS15 L502X.
I have a problem with what seems like a stuck button / setting, or something similar...
*For example in the bottom right if I click on the volume symbol the volume control will automatically slide right down from top to bottom by itself until the volume is off...
*If I open a music editing programme and place the cursor on the numbers which show the track length of the song it will automatically start counting down the track length backwards until it gets to zero...
*I went into my mouse settings and where you can adjust the reaction speed or sensitivity of your mouse there is a bar that runs from left to right where you adjust it, when I clicked on one it automatically slid to the far right by itself...
*I tried to install the current synaptics driver for the touch pad (which I already had) and when installing I had to scroll down the installation legal agreement to tick the box, when I clicked on the bar at the top it slid down to the bottom all by itself...
*If I right click the top right tab on my Google Chrome browser to go into history if I have MULTIPLE pages open it just quicky flashes and will not open the history, however if I have just ONE page open it will work properly and open....
I think you get the idea now!
Bye the way, for some time before this I've had a problem with my right click button barely working, you have to press it very hard to get it to work....
Any ideas if these problems are related? The right click button not working well is not a real concern at the moment, I really want to get this automatic scrolling issue worked out first....
And yes, I have re-installed the current synaptics touchpad driver, which to be honest at first made things a little worse, as my mouse cursor would not work at all after I installed it, the cursor just stayed frozen, so I read that turning the power off and taking the battery out and holding the power button down for 30 secs might work, which it did.....
Thanks
