Hello, I just changed my laptop that i used for 6 years to Dell Inspiron 15 5667. At first my audio isnt working and i sent it back to the company that i bought it from and they fixed that for me. But now, after around one month, while i travel to another country for my studies, my laptop sometimes freezes or i dont know what do u call it, the screen freezes at that moment and the mouse, keyboard is not responding too. I have to make a hard restart to solve this problem, any idea what is happening ?

Inspiron i7559-7512GRY Integrated webcam and Blue Screen and System crashing
I bought this laptop vide Amazon (sold by Computer Brain) on September 27th 2016. It has barely been used and first observed in December 2016 that the integrated webcam was not responsive and there after the system is shut down with a blue screen and or flicker often before crashing. As the product was brought vide Amazon US and I am currently in India - DELL India did suggest that a Tag Transfer has to be done in order to have onsite repair or mail in depot rectification.
Did Tag Transfer several times at the end of the process every time I did get success notification but after 20 days the status on the site remains same United States. Spoke to customer service no great help.
I want the following to be resolved soonest- 1) Tag Transfer 2) Solve the integrated webcam and 3) Frequent crashing of the operating system

Dell Laptop has been having problems starting, somehow evolved into 7 beeps
Hello everyone. about 3 or 4 days ago my keyboard stopped working during use. When I tried to restart it, my Dell Inspiron 5552 had issues starting up because of battery issues. I got messages saying the battery could not be identified or that the voltage wasn't strong enough. The message would change and I would get the orange and white light. I was never able to bypass this screen, but I got lucky one time. The keyboard still didn't work, but when I logged on I had no battery issues and it was fully charged. When I got online it said that I should uninstall the keyboard driver in the device manager and that I should restart it to get it working again.
When I tried restarting it, I started having trouble booting. It wouldn't get passed the dell screen, and eventually I started having problems with 7 beeps. Before, I would get the white screen and it would do a scan and freeze. I haven't even been lucky enough to get to that screen recently. The laptop just starts, reboots, starts, and then the 7 beeps come on. I tried to use the blanket/towel method but my laptop is not heating up at all. It takes an hour to finally even be remotely warm, and even then it doesn't work. I guess there could be a slight chance that I'm not wrapping it up well but it seems that I'm in the minority because I've only read a few posts that said that this method did not work and many more that said it did work. Is there anything else I can try? I have no experience with taking out motherboards and etc. so I have avoided trying that, but if it isn't as hard as I think it is I suppose I can try it. My warranty lasts until June, but I just want to at least be able to log on so I can back up my files. any advice? thanks in advance. also, im very curious to know what would have led to this series of problems in the first place.

The wifi just shows with an x in front, I tried to see what the problem was and it said to turn off wifi capability. I've tried many things, I even reset the computer hoping that would help.

Everything went fine. As a person who doubts a lot as I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation, I tried the process again and now it says "The pc has already been registered." How to check if the laptop is registered to my name?

How to enable Raid after windows 10 installation
Hi,
I own a Dell 7559 with intel processor, Intel I7- 6700HQ cpu@2.60GHz. Memory is 16 GB, hard drive is toshiba 1TB.
I just added a Transcend M.2 128GB SATA III 6gb/s MTs800 80 mm to optimize my system. However, when I checked my BIOS set up, SATA mode only has ATA and AHCI options, NO RAID. I assumed that this was the reason why I don't have the accelerate option in my Intel RST?
Is there a way to enable my RAID configuration without re-installing windows 10?

Dell Inspiron 5552 not turning on
Hello everyone. I recently purchased a refurbished Dell laptop. It is an Inspiron 5552 I started using around January 1st. 3 or 4 days ago, the keyboard stopped working. I decided to shut it down and turn it back on thinking it would be a simple fix, but I had issues when I tried to turn it back on.
I got messages at the startup that would differ between "the battery cannot be identified" or "the number of watts/volts cannot be identified". I was getting the orange and white light flashing. I wouldn't be able to bypass that screen though. Eventually, I got lucky and the laptop booted normally. as I thought, my laptop was fully charged and there seemed to be no problem. However, the keyboard still wasn't working. On the dell website it said that I should uninstall the keyboard driver and restart the laptop, so thats what I did. When I tried to restart the laptop, it would get stuck at the Dell screen and it wouldn't load up. Lately, I haven't even been lucky enough to get the Dell screen. The laptop just tries to start up, shuts down, starts up, shuts down, and then the 7 beeps start. I might get lucky and get a lit up blank screen, but thats it.
I tried the towel/blanket method but the laptop does not even heat up. It takes 45 minutes for it to get even remotely warm. From what I've read from looking at many pages, the success rate of that method is very high but I can't get it to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Laptop not getting turn on giving single beep
Heyy...I have dell inspiron 15 3521 laptop with 4 gb ram nd 1 gb graphics card
When I press power button ..laptop getting turn on but screen is still black nd after 2-4 sec making one beep sound then turn off. Plz help me to find out the issue nd how to resolve it.

Add an extra battery for my XPS15
hey guys, I bought my XPS15 9550 last year but the capacity of battery is not as good as I expected. It only last no more than 4 hours and its not convenient for me to carry the charger all the time. I would like to ask if I want to add an extra battery for my lap how do I do it ? where can I buy it ?

XPS 9343 (2015) battery not charging - no issues with battery or AC adopter when tested
Hello. I would be grateful if someone can help me with solving the following battery issue.
My XPS13 9343 (with Windows 10, 2015 model) recently stopped charging when connected. I have conducted BIOS test, stress test, system test, battery test recommended on Dell forum, but could not find any issues.
Then ran device manager and checked & updated drivers, tested for virus, scanned the system, but could not detect any issues.
Lights on AC adopter is on (static) , and the front light under the touch pad turn on white briefly when connected then turn off immediately when plugged in (when disconnected, orange light comes on).
It seems charging is disabled...I might have touched keys without realizing (I checked whether there were hot key to enable/disable charging, but could not find one).
Since it is an ultrabook, and the battery has no issues, I have not opened the back to take out the battery.
I brew into the connecting hole, but it did not solve the issue.

Additional SSD harddisk - bootable
Computer: Dell Precision M4600
HDD: 500 GB
MY QUESTION:
I would like to use a SSD-disk to be the master (bootable) hard disk (for the system) using the WWAN slot as choice #1 (whit a mSSD-disk) or, if not possible, the DVD location (with a hard disk cabinet and a normal SSD) as alternative #2. The original HDD will be used just as a data hard disk,
Will this be possible? Will the computer boot from WWAN or from the DVD location?
If OK - are there any prerequisites regarding the disk or its connections for it to work?
All useful help and tips are appreciated.

Upgraded to SSD / Clean Install
I have a Alienware 15 R2 laptop, and recently purchased a Crucial MX300 1 TB SSD drive to replace my standard SATA HDD.
I downloaded the Dell Windows Recovery Image for my laptop onto my USB drive to reinstall Windows 10 onto the new drive.
When I boot up to the USB drive, it says No OS Found. Couldn't remember if I needed to copy the Recovery partition from the old drive.
Anyone else have any insight? This my first time doing a swap like this with a Windows 10 machine.

NT Kernel & System using a lot of CPU
For some reason there is a entry titled at system that is constantly using a lot of cpu. Enough to keep the fans spinning and killing my battery life. When I checked the details in task manager I noticed it was the nt kernel & system that seems to be using the cpu. I don't know why this is occurring? Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? I have an xps 15 9560

Dell precision M6500 error code 2000-0411.
Hi, my dell precision M6500 no longer not up windows. During the start up process I Recieve the error code 2000-0411, and it tells me to insert my windows disk and reboot the comp again and follow the steps to reinstall windows. According to the diagnostic test when I ran it, the problem is as follows :
"Error Code 0411.
Msg: Error Code 2000-0411
Msg: Cables - Right I0 board not detected
The given error code and message can be used by technical support to help diagnose the problem. "
My question is; 1) will reinstalling windows fix this problem? 2)what would have caused this to happen all of a sudden? 3)what, if any, are other possible fixes I can try?

Can 9.5mm HDD fit in Inspiron 7359 2-in-1 Laptop
I am facing some Hard drive issues and thus had to replace my hard drive, checked the 7.5mm hard drive but could only ffind them upto 500GB. I am able to find 1TB hard drives but they are all 9.5mm. So, can I install 9.5mm hard drive in my laptop?
