I have been using a Dell Inspiron 7547 for over 2 years. recently one of my rubber feet began to peel off. I am wondering if anyone can help me find a replacement rubber foot. I have had difficulty finding my own since it is very long.

Dell XPS 13 9350 Windows 10 Creators update clean install?
Have some questions on this. I would like to do a clean install. My concern is during the install. Will I need to manually add the Intel rapid storage driver before Windows 10 will even install? The next thing is the various drivers situation. Do I need to manually download them from Dell putting in my service tag? That is a whole lot of drivers to install manually if so. Or would the Dell driver detection tool possibly work? I am trying to minimize bloatware as it is.

I have a DELL INSPIRON N5040 which sometimes can not turn On. You can power on the laptop, it starts normally and you can do anything but soon after shutting down it fails to turn on again. It may take days for it to be able to turn On. When it fails to turn on the power indicator light is off meaning that no power is being received to the system board, this happens both when you connect Power outlet with the battery and when you connect only to the power outlet.

Precision 7710 no adapter power on Boeing 777
I have a Precision 7710 that the adapter does not power up on the newer Boeing 777's. I've been told that the 240w adapter is the issue. The plane power limit is apparently 95w? Anyone know if a lesser wattage adapter would work with the Precision 7710? Doesn't need to charge the battery, only needs to power the laptop so I can work longer than 2-3 hours on my long 13 hour flights.

Dell Latitude E6410
I'm trying to reinstall Windows 7 onto a Latitude E6410, but when the installation changes from "Windows is loading files" to "Starting Windows" the computer forces a reboot with no error or warning. It installed Windows XP fine, but Windows 7 (and i also tried Windows 10, with same results) wont install.

I'm trying to install Windows 7 back onto a Latitude E6410, but the computer forces a restart when attempting to start Windows. I cant do anything without having the OS on it. This is a problem with the system itself, not the OS.

Latitude E6540 Stuck at Shutting down screen during BIOS update.
I'm trying to update the BIOS on a Latitude E6540. I verified all programs were stopped, but there was a service running the the background that prevented windows from shutting down for the restart. The computer is now hung at the shutting down screen and neither canceling the shutdown, nor forcing the restart is working. Control-Alt-Delete is also unresponsive.
I don't want to do a hard reboot because the BIOS update could corrupt the active BIOS. Is there anyway to interrupt the update and regain control of the computer?

Killer 1535 the WORST wifi card in history - XPS 15 9560
I don't know who designed this thing, but after fiddling with the drivers for 4 hours, those provided by dell, and others provided by Killer directly, both with and without the associated software installed, this thing still gives me 1/40th the internet speeds compared to my 4 year old laptop on the same router.
I guess I have no choice but to buy a 30 dollar intel 8265 and install it myself.
Given that some people have Killer cards that just work, I have to assume this is a massive QC issue. Absolutely brutal performance.

choosing a digital endoscope camera for OptiPlex 3020
I'm of course looking for a inexpensive endoscopic camera possibly under $20. E-bay has a few listed but their system requirements read:
"System Requirement: Pentium Computer with 700MHz & Above, 20M HD Space CD ROM Driver, 128MB RAM, Direct X VGA Card"
Will that work on a OptiPlex 3020, Windows 10?

Ram issues
for the past couple months i have had this problem where, when I turn on my laptop it is just a black screen and has a beeping noise(beep-beep, pause beep-beep pause continues.) it doesn't always happen but when it does i usually have to wait a while for my computer to restart and work again. text on the screen tells me to reseat the memory. what does that actually mean? do i have to take off the back and physically take out the ram or do i have to go in through menus. Dell Inspiron 7559 fan issue
I've recently noticed that the fans on my Dell Inspiron 7559 won't spin down to 0rpm after they've been spun up for a while. This is most noticeable after gaming; after I've closed a game the fans don't spin down fully (they spin down a bit, but are still audible) and they stay like this until I restart my computer.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar with their machine, and if so, have a solution to the problem.

XPS 15 9550 - Slow boot time and possible issue with CPU
I'm in no way an expert and this is my second Dell laptop which I've had since Sept 2016. I've been finding lately that my laptop was taking a long time to get past the Dell startup logo during a hard boot, and even when restarting. The only time I get a snappy startup is when waking the laptop. Overall the laptop's performance feels less snappy than it should, given the specs it's got. Initially I wondered if it was an issue with the SSD so I ran a couple of benchmark tools (UserBenchmark and Crystal Disk). They both showed the SSD is operating fine, and UserBenchmark says the CPU and RAM are underperforming.
Results:
UserBenchmarks: Game 22%, Desk 43%, Work 37%
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700HQ - 35.8%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 960M - 21.2%
SSD: Nvme PC300 SK hy 512GB - 137.1%
RAM: Samsung M471A1G43EB1-CPB 2x8GB - 63.4%

Do these numbers look right to you? Do I have a faulty CPU and RAM? Any advice please about anything I can do before I get on the phone to Dell? All drivers are up to date and I've installed all the latest updates from Dell. I've also run a SupportAssist extended scan and all passed.

Dell XPS 12 Screen burn-in
I have a Dell XPS 12 9Q23 and have the screen burn-in an issue that is widely reported on this laptop, further to this a number of articles indicate that given the widespread nature of the problem replacement screens are being offered even outside of the warranty period.
When I e-mailed Dell technical support, I was told to make sure this is not a software issue (which clearly is not) and try to take photos of the issue in BIOS which obviously is not feasible given the screen color does not vary as much compared to normal operation using an OS.
I would like to know what my options are at this point. Is the replacement period over? And does it extend to the products sold in Japan.

White spots on screen laptop
Hello,
My laptop has some big white spots on the screen and i have seen other owners of a dell laptop with exact the same problem.I have contacted dell and they have replaced the screen but i`m getting the same problem after a couple of months with the new one.My question is if this problem is solved with the newer models of dell laptops or this problem still exist?For me a reason to go for another brand very annoying.

Inspiron 13 7000 (2016): possible chassis design flaw causing lockups, possibly flickering

After a month and a half of going back and forth with repairs for my brand new Inspiron 13 7378 (2016 model), I still had display flickering and at some point the laptop started to lock up when picked up. After MB replacement the laptop started to lock up when you type on the keyboard, so was about to return it, but decided to look whether motherboard can be shorted by anything in the chassis.
I found these "bumps":
Here are those with the motherboard. It looks like there is a heavy presence of them around the HDMI output:
I taped them over and was able to get the laptop to boot, and I am typing this on the keyboard that several hours ago would have locked up the device.
Unfortunately, after removing the tape and attempting to boot again, the laptop worked as expected, but given that the old motherboard would lock up if you try to lift the laptop by holding the area near the left hinge (4 bumps with exposed metal), I am inclined to believe that was the original issue.
The original laptop and replacement exhibited display flickering (not backlight, the whole display) with Intel drivers installed, and I have yet to see the issues with the new motherboard, so maybe the chassis was shorting something related to the video output which in turn would lock up the system.
Are my assumptions plausible?
