We are fielding a number of these, with Win7 x64 Enterprise as the OS. As part of the build process, after we apply the corporate image, we update or install the various Dell drivers - one of which is DPTF (Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Manager).
I've noticed on some (should have checked all, in retrospect) that there is a Warning log entry in the System log:

Today I had a user's E7470 Blue-Screen on her. The STOP code was 0x0000007E. When I dug down into MSINFO32. I found that the Windows Driver Foundation Driver Framework service won't load the DPTF driver. I did a reinstall with the latest version and still saw the error on reboot.
Network Group Policy has that service configured for Manual startup, and the Recovery tab has it set for a Restart of the service for the first 2 occurences.
I'm at a loss to understand why this is happening. Any ideas out there?
